Cut 2 pieces of cardboard the size of the inside of the mag insert pouch and place them on the front and back side, insert the mag insert with mags loaded in them, remove the card board and press to secure. This eliminates the Velcro snagging prematurely and ensures proper installation. Great video. I’m buying on now.

I’m with you man. I have a couple other videos shot, getting them edited has become the issue. My computer took a hard dive in a move and I’ve been trying to get it fixed ever since. Hopefully I’ll have something out soon(ish) though! Thanks for the support!

For this review, showing the X Harness that comes with the chest rig would have been a good idea, just so folks are clear that it _does_ come with that harness. Might also have mentioned the hanger/dangler bag that you can place underneath the D3CRM for more "admin" room (Multi-Mission Hanger). It's a great place for some IFAK gear... or skittles and crayons 😁

Super awesome, thorough review. You hit almost every single aspect of this. I was kinda hoping you would stuff the hell out of the front zippered pouch. Great review! Thanks again. I couldn't find one anywhere so i ended up buying the 5.11 9x9 gear set. Its super similar, although bulkier and not. As adjustable.

Do TQ fit in the side pistol pouches ?

Thanks! The pouches will expand out far enough and are deep enough to have some good retention on a CAT style TQ. The trick will be getting the soft TQ into the pouch, I took about 5 seconds of attempting to get one in there to get it bunched up lol. Also unsure if the elastic retention band will be effective for it. I personally just run a multi mission hanger with a TQ attached to it
That would be great if they ever had them in stock again. Been out of stock on Haley’s site for months
Optics planet has the micro chest rig in stock in all available color options. I just bought one in balck. Been looking for weeks so I'd hop on it immediately

Brother all you need is a large patch the same size as the Velcro on the front that says W.W.C.P.D.
Quite a good review. I recently bought one of these to replace my 15 year-old Eagle UCR that finally died. This is the perfect size for my need. My only gripe is that I do wish the side pistol pouches would just a straight column of Molle to allow me to carry my tourniquet or a different pouch but that's about it.
Other than that please don't disparage covid 19. I'm an EMT and it's very real.
My 65 year old uncle had Covid 19.
He said it felt like he had a mild cold.

I hope one day you decide to quit living your life in fear and wanting the government and your social media to tell you how to live your life and what to be scared of that day. I’m sure you won’t, but I urge you to get on the CDC website and do a little more research on this virus that you seem to be so misinformed about. 99.7% survival/recovery rate is a fact.

You can get the H harness or mount on a plate carrier/ruck
Did it come with the harness, or did you have to buy that separate?
Does it come with the 5.56 inserts when shipping or do you have to purchase separately?!
All the inserts are separate. If you by the micro all you get is the chest rig itself. The idea is you then buy the different mag inserts you want to build the rig for each mission
I have D3CR Micro. Can you recommend plate bags and carrier?
Would you be able to fit those Haley strategic AR magazine inserts into the spiritus systems chest rig ??
Unfortunately i can’t answer your question with any kind of certainty. As much as I like Spiritus I have never used their chest rig. It’s on my list of products to purchase and review, just haven’t been able to get around to it.

What are your thoughts on using it on a PC? Any issues getting low to the ground? I have the Haley Heavy rig and there’s just too much shit on the front to use on my PC, so I’ve been looking at getting the Haley Micro, the Spiritus Micro or a straight up triple mag placard from Esstac.
I actually have a plate carrier vid waiting to be edited once I finally get my new set up finished. To make a long story short, you will notice a huge difference over the other variants when in the prone.
Do you need the micro mag Insert? Or can you use the standard Hsp np2 inserts?
With the micro you need the insert. To my knowledge while the np2s are the same regardless, there is no way to use the micro without the Velcro insert to hold the np2s in.

If I buy the mag inserts would I need anything else for this? I see it has a black retention connector but it’s sold out :/
The Mag inserts will hold everything in place just fine as long as you don’t plan on doing anything too too crazy. The idea behind the retention tabs with the micro is to add a level of retention to it for more dynamic exercises. If you want both buy the original chest rig and the inserts. The original comes with the tabs as it’s primary form of mag retention.
Do the side buckles pop off for mounting on a PC in placard config?
Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been having issues logging into my account. Although I personally never bother with it they can be removed by sliding them out of the loop.
Does it not even come with the harness to wear it?
It comes with an “X” harness and an “H” harness is available to buy off their website. The harness and other related clips are removable so you can affix it to a plate carrier
