- Hope you like this art process video! In case you were wondering: that's Emma Frost, Mystique and Destiny from the latest issue of the X-men event Inferno. The drawing is inspired by El Greco's painting from the 1600s, "Pentecost."

The result is stunning
Thank you! I think it turned out pretty well too! 😁
I really like your thought process.
Thanks pops! Thank you for watching! 😁
Thank you. Nicely explained.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching! :D
I saw you drawing on the train. Any tips? I cant stand the bumps sometimes. I put up with it, but wondering if you have tips? Thanks in advance!
Great video Andrew. And great job explaining what hybrid workflows are!
Thanks Charles! Took a while to make this one but it was a lot of fun! Hybrid workflows are exciting!
@@Comicbooker It came out great. Beautifully drawn, shot and presented.
Hi comic booker 😃
Wow!!!
so cool
thank you! 😀
I wish there was a way to bring brushes I made and bought for procreate into CSP, if there is it would be a major help.
Just subbed. Love the content.
Thanks Nate! Welcome aboard!
My current workflow: draw traditionally, everything else in procreate where I eventually get annoyed at the limit on layers.
What iPad are you on? I haven't bumped into layer limits since I upgraded to the latest iPad (although I know that's not an option for everyone.) Glad you're drawing traditionally though, it's healthy for the brain to work in both worlds! 😁
@@Comicbooker my iPad is just the iPad 6th gen with 128gb capacity
@@Comicbooker it’s probably the amount of pixels I have in some of my pictures. The last one I ran into issues with was 2593px by 3615px
Interesting. Seems like I was alone in this idea. I recently bought CS on pc over the holidays, but Im knowledge in Procreate. However, I wanted to use both as a way to benefits both of their features to counter both of their weaknesses. I might try to learn from this and figure out my own workflow.
Would love to hear any tricks you figure out! Good luck experimenting and building your workflow! 👊🏼😁
Nice process and video ! Just subbed .
I'm wondering... Is Clip Studio on the iPad really worth it?
Honestly I don’t use it nearly as much as Procreate. I will say though: I’ve seen professional Marvel comics artists use Clip Studio on the iPad exclusively to make and send in their pages, so in terms of capability it’s definitely worth it (assuming you use it enough to justify the $5 a month.)
Hi, Sorry, quick question
between iPad pro 11" 1tb / iPad pro 12.9" 128gb both 2021
which one is your choice?
I mean bigger size or more ram
If I had to choose I’d go with the bigger size! It’ll still have 8gb ram which is a jump up compared to any iPad prior to this one. For art, the big screen really helps (even if it’s less portable.)
@@Comicbooker thank you so much
Are you using CSP for IPad or Mac/PC version?
For this vid I'm using CSP for iPad. But I have it on PC as well! 😁
Those Cyclops analogies got me LOL
He’s like the poster boy of marriage drama 😂
Newbie artist's here! I subbed you and im inspired by you 😍😍 awanna be profesional like you.. Aaaaa 😍😍😍🦖
Welcome Gigi! So excited for you! Keep up the practice and keep being inspired and you'll level up in no time. You can do it! 🦖😁
Hello. Nice video!:)
Which one do you recommend for drawing? Tempered glass or matte screen protector?:)
I prefer to work without either! The naked glass is a bit slippery but you get used to relatively quickly, and honestly I worry that screen protectors diffuse the image ever-so-slightly, so I’ve never really used them. I have friends that LOVE Paperlike though, so your mileage may vary. 😁
@@Comicbooker Thank you for asking! Yes is true but I was afraid of the display :(
@@Comicbooker Hello, does screen protector (tempered glass) will give big effect to color accuration? i want to buy ipad m1 12.9 which have great color led, this will be useless
@@tegarimans5696 I don't think it makes a HUGE different to color accuracy, but depending on the screen protector you use, expect some slight diffusion of image. I draw on the m1 12.9 every day and the screen is very strong, so I don't think you'll need a protector, IMHO.
@@Comicbooker Thanks for your answer, but when you said the 'nake' one does it really didn't use any protectio like scratch protector or any plastic?
Do you use a keyboard with your ipad?
yes! the magic keyboard! :D
The jean shade 😭😭
I love her! I just wish she'd get a better man. And costume. 😂 Scott and Emma 4ever 😜
nice bro. I'm also an artist but not so good. Hope to be as good as you soon.
You can do it! Just keep up the practice and keep yourself inspired. :D
im pretty new with drawing lol i always thought im crazy but because i do such weird sketching... seeing somebody else doing this make me thnk its kind of normal then lol
It's normal! Sketch however it comes naturally to you! What matters most is that the marks are expressing your thoughts on paper! 😁
Awesome pretty bum about no ai file
Hopefully it comes in a future software update! 😁
500 dollar Lacoste jacket, 5 dollar haircut at the mall
Not even 5 dollars! I've been cutting it myself since quarantine. 😅
