Subscriptions. My reason for no longer using Adobe and my reason for currently not buying Clip Studio Paint, which sucks because I really want it. If the one-time purchase came with lifetime updates and support (like FL Studio, for example), I would buy it. Guess I'll be sticking with Krita for now.
They are ONLY TALIKNG about a $60 DOLLAR FEE for a YEAR! I wish my rent was that cheap.
idk, i got csp for 90 euros, in 2018, i didnt bought any subscription
no clue if you still see this but a lifetime license is on sale rn for $21
i tried photoshop but i didn't improve much . CSP helped me a lot .
Hello, i'm a photoshop drawing user and soon gonna tryna use CSP. May I ask you wbat kind of part make you didn't improve on photoshop?
In my case is the brush.
@@eyenmaiden5885 same the brush and lack of tool
U know why it's because Photoshop is intended for digital art but CSP is
@@musiczoidytyou can still make beautiful pieces in Photoshop though.
Its about learning the program really
I've been using Gimp but heard clip is great for making comics. I thought $54 was a great price, but didn't realize that wouldn't include the comic features. I'm glad i watched this video!
CSP is still considerably cheaper than Adobe, so I am starting with it. Thanks fir helping me decide.
Where do you get to read the content at 1:50? I try to find it everywhere but no luck.
I love the video, always enjoy your content. However, just a PSA: the commentary on CSP v Adobe didn't age well. CSP doesn't include in it's EULA a clause that would allow them to use my private assets to train their "derivative works" (AI); unlike Adobe. I quit Adobe for CSP, and I would recommend anyone else do so as well - forget Adobe's predatory cancellation policies and fees. You can easily avoid them by following directions given online.
When drawing with actual markers or paint, I worry about how much I CAN COLOR vs. how long they last without going dry. But with a computer (like DJing) SKY'S THE LIMIT!!!! They got production material AND EFFECTS GALORE in this program..... I 'll be spending a lot of time with this..... And the budgetary concerns are kaput VS. the price of Copics today. I'll need some 'juice' with a copy shop soon for posters & shirts. God bless Laveb for telling me this day would come with Computers.
Great video! You helped me make my decision. I am a programming looking for as a hobby to make simple 2D barbarian sprite characters for a simple game as a hobby on the side of my programming. I don't have lots of time to invest in learning all the details in using an application. Is it realistic to find a basic application for drawing which comes with basic tools to use for making simple 2D art for games.? I've been googling and I hear so many different terminologies being use and I am completely lost from my google searches. But thank you for helping me narrow things down.
Looking at Clip, as a beginner: I have little to no experience in digital art. I am a PC user not MAC, and don't have access to ProCreate. And I only want to use this software as a hobbyist.
And, based on everything I've seen, it's still a great option. If I'm going to bother learning a software package, I'd rather it be a robust one. And $50 is a price point I'm ok with for a hobby, so long as it's a one-time purchase Especially when there is no ceiling, this offers professional grade capabilities. Meaning as my measly and pitiful level of skill increases, I don't have to swap to a second program and relearn everything, because I've 'out grown' the 'starter' software.
Hello, i want to ask, is it free to create account/register profile? even w/o csp or w/ crack one? i do have one but from tablet pen bundle
How to animate this file in after effects ❤❤ answer
I like buying a software program. Suscriptions tend to go up in monthly prices. Not a fan. I am looking at Clip SP to expand my tools and experience. New to digital art. Did nothing outside of Procreate yet. Hoping to go to Digital Illustration or Animation in future. Getting a jump on learning some software programs as I am a late learner. LOL.
Krita works for me. It’s $0. I have CSP too but it seems to lean towards Japanese style.
I was considering it until I learned they moved to subscription based licensing. Too bad.
i dislike ps for drawing and csp just feels and works better considering my ps crashed alot XD
Toonboom is so costly then how can i learn that?
Who says you have to die to get to Heaven. Here's where I can express what goes/went on in the Space Program. I'll be at this form of Art & Design till infinity.
Is Clip good for realistic paintings.

Csp in asian countries such as Japan Korea is industry standard as much as photoshop
for comis and webtoons yes not for high end game dev illustration. Square Enix for example concept artists are all using PS
clip studio paint is so expensive 😥I cant afford it
its on sale now if that helps
🏴☠️
I discovered now it was on sales I only have less than 9h to buy it but I have to sleep
there's always a way🏴☠️
The bang for the buck (value) is unmatched, short of pirating it. :(
Csp is industry standard, most of the Japanese anime studios use csp now days instead of retas studio pro. Don't spread fake news
She literally said in the video that it was the industry standard in Japan, just not in America. Finish the video and get the full context before spreading fake news yourself...
@@manfromtheredriver7386 i am studying animation in Japan 😂😂. So I know better than you which software use in Japan .
@@aumqar6084 . . . but apparently you can't listen or clearly read anything anyone else says. . . . Read my previous comment again. I never said it wasn't used in Japan, and neither did the video. You are accusing people of saying things they never said. Learn to actually pay attention before criticizing others.

50 bucks is cheap lmao
Compared to Adobe, it’s cheap. But they do sales sometimes where it’s like $20.
