I would like to know, when you're using the remote control unit to zoom in / out, you we're using the original phone app or the hohem joy cam app? Can we zoom remotely by using the remote control unit while using the phone's camera app, not via hohem joy cam app?

Great and informative video! I wonder if it's possible to program a pan or till movement with the remote. That way I can use the gimbal to record a hyperlapse with something that's not a cell phone camera.

@Tonyluo2001 actually that might work. For review purposes sometimes I have a dummy phone on the gimbal while I connect with another one with the app

M6 is more advanced, but bigger and doesn't have the remote control (I think you can buy one)
Why ISTEADY V3 HOHEM Joy app does not have the audio meter like the one in Final Cut camera app or Blackmagic camera app or dji Mimo app?

@@biogesic918 it’s the light/compact version with no 360 degrees panning and some missing features. But then again, you get the extension rod, the built in tripod and detachable remote
I have a child that plays sports and wants to get better clips of himself playing. Do you recommend a gimbal or drone?
It will depend on so many factors. Gimbal should be fine and easier to use. The tracking can be lost if there are many players and your son gets lost behind them. A drone will need someone operating it, other people might not be comfortable with it, etc etc
Sorry for your tire expense. I bought a gimble to give my daughter for her her birthday so I hope they pay you a commission. Keep your receipt on the tires because since this is your livelihood your should be able to write it off on your taxes. That trail was great!

Mine came tilted , not horizontal. Returened and never again. Poor quality
You had to update the firmware and then do an auto calibration. I think the quality is fine but if you did all that and if it wasn't a user error, you might have gotten a faulty unit. This happens even with big brands like DJI...
