Did this much noise is ok or need to fix I play on notebook and when ever I turn full screen or play for 1 hour in windowed screen it sound like something hell and when I closed the game the fan become quiter

Balkeet007 i changed it because it was much easier for me to read with white color, i can change back but with the orange its a bit harder to read for me, i will do next time the original and will see i its better;) ** if you meant to this video about the color so in this video i didnt showed the msi values properly because the video was on noise;)

I have this issue. My Lenovo legion has a high pitch noise on certain frequency, mostly during the low intensive work. When playing games the fans are spinning faster but the high pitched noise is not existing. It drives me crazy during daily work... Did you find a solution for this?
zikky6 yes i am very satisfied with all its options and performance! its great! Even converting big sizes videos(2GB+ on shotcut video editor) is very fast for me and you still can do alot of things while heavy programs are working at full power, The screen & keyboard are excellent to use and see, the laptop is well built, not heavy and looks good:)
just want to ask, are you experiencing a yellow tint or warm screen tone on your y540? because mine has those issue. i got a device replacement but the screen still look too warm for me

Most gaming laptops are louder than this when gaming. I have tried hp omen and it was way louder than my y540 even when not gaming. Y540 fans make noise mostly when gaming or doing other heavy stuff.
You should put the phone near where your head is to get a more accurate reading of what it will sound like. You don't put your head right next to the laptop when using it.
Man it sucks i want a laptop i can play in a waiting room i have to be in for 7 hours everyday with me hiding in the corner. I mean most people sit like 12 feet away from me but i have no clue how loud it sounds from that far away if it is still loud to the point people may get upset or something.
Well, if you want a laptop that is not making noise buy a fanless one but if you want play you have to consider that powerful components need a good cooling system that mean loud fans in some cases

@Cody Lee hi , yeah i mean the whistle and yeah most gamig laptops do a loud fan noise when doing a high graphic game or photo editing app , i did solve the problem with 2 things 1: remove the 2 fans which is thank god is easy and put one drop of hair cutting machine oil on each fan 2 budget gaming laptops has a cheap pasting upove cpu and gpu chips so repaste Them which is so easy when removing the fans 3 which is ponus put a cool fan pad below the laptop and set lenovo vantage to quite mode
Are you hearing a hdd voice while installing games to hdd from steam , I just bought that laptop and if the place is very quiet , I'm hearing a hdd voice while downloading,but other times there are no voice , the voice is very low but you can hear it if you listen

The decibel meter should be kept at user sitting distance not right next to fans. And it always sounds more in video recording microphone than in real life.

Or maybe this is just quality control issue. Who knows. I found that you can block this back vents using tape, and while doing some light task like browsing is helping to block this annoying sound.

i think this is common gaming laptops, i have a predator triton 300 and i hear this sound when gpu fans are on 3100 - 3500 speed

You can't measure fan noise if you're using the speakers when gaming...
The speakers “on” only at the beginning of the video in minute 1:35 im turning down the speakers you can see it it was just for comparing:)

If there was it would be fried within a year. It has to keep the CPU and GPU cool, and even with fans this loud it barely manages to do it

Well fans would definitely make noise higher when there's a heavy load on GPU and processor it's not an issue
When I play Minecraft On SEUS Shaders I get 85fps But My Fan sounds like a honda car
