We can remove SATA case and heat protector to reduce the weight. Laptop weight loss by 500 grams ? Most likely you haven't plugged in the laptop. It is very important to do so otherwise the laptop will start throttling after it is reduced to battery power. Even if your laptop has a lot of dust only the fans should be loud and your laptop would be hot, but it would not reduce your performance to the level where you can't even run fortnite at 60. If it's not that, probably a lot of background apps are open which causes it to utilize less ram.
