open frame is sooo much sexier. server cases are great for density but I get bored SO fast with them. open rigs keep home mining alive and interesting!
Well this is good timing. In my garage right now, rebuilding a 12x 6600 XT open air rig. I don’t even know what to mine on it - I just found some ASRock Q270 Pro mobos for only 78 bucks each that have an easy 13x PCIE x1 layout and a nice little diagram at boot that shows which slots are properly connected. Never seen these reviewed anywhere but they’re great.
I noticed the electrical tape booties on the pcie slots...I do the same, ya almost have to...I never daisy chain...thought about it but just like you I thought 2wice lol...good stuff
Mike - 12x 132w is just over the 1500w PSU supply you have. Breaking your own 80% rule by quite a bit - if the ooverclocks slip off its in danger of PSU overheat? Or am I reading it wrong.
How do you mount the server power supply to that frame. Does it have mounting points for it or do you use a glue. Also quick of question I’m trying to oc my 4080 super what numbers do I go slowly at raising to keep stable to find out how much more hash I can pull out of the card?
Do you know the software "Salad"? Is it okay for you to review that software and how much are you earning with that GPU's that you have? Because right now....I have a 4060 video card....and I am earning $2.40 a day (if u became a Star Chef). I'm just wandering how much would it cost if u are using the 4090 GPU. I want to see how much before I can buy one. Thank you in advance.
bro stop spreading misinformation. this is why you had a bad cable burn. ONE STRAND IS RATED FOR 150W POWER NOT 288W. if you're mining a low power coin on rx6600, yea one cable can handle 2 gpus. but anything above 150w is in danger zone. this is why I have 6 cable premium atx power supplies like corsair rm1200 shift or evga 1000GQ etc. 2 of these can supply 12x3070 cards if you limit the power usage below 150w for each gpu and never go above it.
That’s actually part true… on a double ended pcie, the cable should be capable on providing 150w per plug so a 288w is the safe power to use. A single 6pin from a server power supply is even more limited as it isn’t qualified to be used like that ; 75w for a 6pin and 150w for a 8pin 🤷♂️🙌
@@RedFoxCrypto when I first started mining I looked up and this is the information I got so I ran 3070ti cards on one cable mining ravencoin and every time the cable melted from psu side in a month or two of mining. Then I saw someone saying 150 is the safe limit, I used that as limit and didn't go over 150w per cable, and ever since then I haven't had anything fail at all not even a single gpu fan. I kept mining after eth POS paying electricity out of pocket and been mining for 3 full years now :)
Open air frames or server cases?

open air all day long.
Open Air Rig FTW!!
Open air frames, absolutely.
Total fan service pleasure-watch. I pressed like at 600mph

I love the nostalgia
GPURisers are great. I prefer cheap risers so I always know where to look first when my rigs fail.
Open air forever 😁 awesome seeing you do this build man, thanks for sharing with us. Heavy hitter at the end on this one!! 🔥🔥🔥
Hell yeah, love the Gpu builds. Thanks Mate
nice and clean build.. love it.. 😍
woww very efficient on KAWPOW watts are good hash s are wonderfull thanx for the vid 😇

I think its fine to use a splitter on a splitter if you have gpu risers cables.
Something big is coming. I just turned on my rigs and im mining as much as I can.
We are gonna make it.
Back to your best!
Love this Vid, I got the same Gpurisers frame and it's FA!

Veddha frames are kings of the open air frames
pretty nice on Kawpow for 56 watts a card
How do you mount the server power supply to that frame.
Does it have mounting points for it or do you use a glue. Also quick of question I’m trying to oc my 4080 super what numbers do I go slowly at raising to keep stable to find out how much more hash I can pull out of the card?
thanks for the vid
2:36 Red Fox is AI confirmed! 😆
Put some air filters around this mining rig to avoid dust.
Time for you to build a 20 gpu rig
😂

👍👍👍
I can't find a mining frame for a BTC-S37 for the life of me. I need something for this riserless board.
Hi,
Try also :
Core - 960
Mem - 920
V - 670/670 down
176mh 755w
This works for me verry good and stable
Can't wait the day when you will sell all these GPUs
Lol that short Intro xD
server cases too expensive. They're a youtuber exclusive
IDK why u dont look hashratecalculator
All that work just to lose money?
So wait I dont understand , this huge rig is actually losing money/day ???

150w is the PICe spec not the electric spec of the pins and wire. I have a video covering this.

@@tugrulserhat bruh ,i was the same with my 3070 ti cable melted form single strand ETH 180w mining
@@raivons yea it's not worth risking a house fire. Stay below 150w per cable and you won't have headache with that.
