I'm pretty small time, but I'm 50/50 split with CPU and GPU. I have one AMD GPU rig and one Nvidia rig. I like AMD for KAWPOW and Nvidia for everything else.

Miss mining.... Power cost just to much for cost/profit ratio... Better off buying coin now for me. Was costing me $20-25 day to keep everything running. Power was costing extra $700-750 month to mining

i think i got that same octominer x12 from same ebay seller lol it looks like they switched out the original PSUs and put in some that need an adapter to work properly
@@TechnicalsMatt i actually had to buy 2 adapters! lol one for each psu port then one to join them into one, similar to the ones octominer originally sends you. Screw it, it works though! haha

on your 3080 ti you might want to try the 1200 core 2400 memory and 340 PowerLimit you probably wont use that limit all but you will hit to 60 mh/s surely. My farm is heavly 30 series and CMP 90,170 hx with 125 gpus. 12 workers(rigs). Trully thinking of getting some 4090's if i sell some of my cards. i have 100 amps only at the minute sitting on 82 amps so its my limit. when i get in to kawpow i can hit to 4 gh/s. At the minute mainly my cmps on kawpow the rest is on pyrin.
Hey i am a bit lost with this video. I have several X12 Ultras with 60mm or more of clearance. I've had several TUF and XC3 3080s EVGAs rigs on them, good temps and airflow, because 3080s xc3 are 46mm and tuf is around 50 to 52mm. I've also had severl 4070s from GB that say on the spec that are 50mm. So, how come in the video i dont see clearance between those? Another curious thing is, my X12s are 5x 140mm 240CFM fans. That case is only 4 ? Octominers changed ? btw, i have X12s with 6x 4090s with good fan clearance because i got the MSI Slim X versions. Keep up growing. Like your channel ;)
I had the same thought about a week after I shot this video. I started thinking about why this case shipped without any badging, and perhaps it isn't an authentic octominer. The internals all say so ,but there just isn't enough clearance. I'm unsure but i'm with ya man.

Hard drive mining is a total waste of time from what I can see. Spend 10 grand on hard drive rigs spend 10 hours a day piddling around and then earn 3 bucks a day. It's a nope from me!
What's the point of an Octominer for over $800? An open rig, which is assembled several times cheaper, is much better and more convenient. More convenient to maintain, better temperature, and less consumption (Octo coolers consume more). It will be necessary to install a cooling corrugation with hot air outlet. And these are additional costs. Purely an advertisement for Octaminer
Open air rig wouldn't be exhaustible in my mining room. I have to isolate and expunge the hot air. This allows that. I would've totally explored an R8 or other type of case, but this octominer had the space and was on sale on ebay. No other case would fit this many cards and also allow for exhausting. Not an advertisement by any stretch
@@TechnicalsMatt Chinese cases for 200-250 dollars with a motherboard. It is perfectly possible to release hot air. I administrated more than 100 such cases for 8 cards and there were no problems.

I miss Eth mining. At my peak I was home mining with 20+ RX 580/570s and a couple Radeon VIIs. Mined 37 Eth on it and still HODLing all of it.
