    As a serious prospecting customer, this video is extremely helpful. I want a new work bag for my computers and office papers, and I've chosen Goruck as my next bag. Just a matter of finding the correct size to fit my work computer and my 16" MacBook Pro.

      CorkKNIFE I am not sure. How much of that went back into your pocket? Also, did you count my Rucker and 26L Gray GR1. I would not want you to be short any money. You may want to buy something.
      Funny, when I went to the ATM on Sunday and the guy parallel parked his Maybach, I just looked and went back to my own business. I wonder why you are so interested with my nice items? Look at my channel. I also have many Strider knives and other reasonably expensive pieces of gear. You may want to tally those as well.
      Are you catching the subtle hint I was dropping before?

    • @CorkKNIFE

      Yes I am "catching" the "hints", you have too much free time and take internet comments from strangers too hard. Just kidding.
      Anyway, keep up the videos, that was a good comparison and helped me decide between sizes... BTW, Mickey Burger knives, really? I haven't heard from him since he told the people following his sub-forum on BladeForums to go suck some unmentionable body parts. I'll stay with my Sal Glesser knives.

    I just ordered GR2 Grey Wold, anyone who owns any color other than black, how does light color hold up, in terms of looking stained up with dirt spots. I s that why black ones more in demand,

    • @Alumapro23
      @Alumapro23  6 років тому

      dapittbulldragon I don’t ruck mine outside, yet, but all of mine are gray besides 1. I’ve carried my 21L to work everyday for a year +. I put it on the floor of my car, the floor in my office, on the floor by the door, I’ve sat it on the ground, etc. it still looks close to new. If I remember I’ll do an update and show the bag on film. That’s a good question you asked.
      I believe the fact that black is so popular is a combination of GR people mostly being function over form people and the fact that the military code says your bag has to be black if it’s not the standard color/bag issues by them. Not that everyone that buys one is in the military, but a lot of guys like to maintain that kind of image/tradition. You can read more about the black bag/military bylaw thing on GR’s site.

Very happy with it, it would probably ‘look’ a tiny bit better a bit shorter but still looks damn good. The 26L is definitely more functional being a bit bigger, I’ve regularly been filling it up as a daypack on holiday and even as weekend activities bagso I’d go with the 26 if I was you at 90kg but either would work

    I am 5 foot 8 inches tall, and i have been reading online that the Gr2 34 lit is an overkill for my height. In addition , it was recommended that i should go for the Gr1 instead. I like the Gr2 for the additional pockets but i'm hesitant. Do you think GR2 is an overkill for me?

    • @Alumapro23
      @Alumapro23  5 років тому

      Jason Banks The GR2 is a notably larger bag and it is notably heavier. For just an edc, around town, bag, I’d go GR1 with some type of admin pouch. Unless, you need tons of pockets. That’s the other thing, the GR2 adds more pockets than most need on a regular, daily, basis.

      Damo 666 😄😄😄 that’s an honest answer, but also why I linked you to that video. You may not get an expensive bag tomorrow, but maybe in a few months. Nothing wrong with that. 👊

      Alchemy_1 Very true and thanks for that as well it did make sense I just need to do a bit of saving now and I am bad at that when you are part of a large Irish family each month is someone's birthday

      Damo 666 I understand, it where there’s a will, there’s a way. I honestly average $100 in change every 6-8 months not even trying to save money. That’s just putting change in a jar after I break a dollar and I don’t even spend a lot of money in stores (big online shopper) or use cash exclusively.

      You ever been to NYC? Finding and apartment with a park is harder than coming up with the $30K+/year to pay for it. Almost nobody drives.

      Alchemy_1 Pretty cool video but my point was it's just a bag yes I get it when it comes to gear the cheaper the item the shitty the quality but can you honestly say a bag is worth over $100 or $200?

    • @Alumapro23
      @Alumapro23  6 років тому

      Damo 666 I can. The bag will handle whatever you can throw at it (proven over and over by the competitors they survive and the trips they survive overseas with our service men and women) and if you do tear , you send it in and they fix it for free. I’ve also done a video on hidden value. What good is a $50 bag that is more likely to tear and cannot be fixed or you have to take it to a tailor that’s going to charge you $20+ to fix it? What bags have you handled?

      Alchemy_1 that's like spending $100 on a hand made cobra belt. Some people can't see themselves paying $100+ for just a belt and they're happy paying $20-30 for a belt from a department store as long as it keeps their pants up. But how many of those $20 belts have they gone through over the years from normal wear? I'm guessing many. But my $100 handmade cobra belt will also hold my pants up plus a gun, spare mags and everything else I carry that would pull someone's pants down wearing a department store belt. Plus if or when my belt tears or breaks due to wear I can send it back for it to get fixed or have a brand new belt made for free and all I'll have to pay it $8 for shipping. I rather pay more for quality, durability, the guaranteed replacement warranty AND it being made in America.

      Mike Bergmann No problem. I have a basic setup and this was an early video. I’ve been getting better and better and plan on continuing the improvements. I appreciate the honest feedback.
