I am so happy to have jumped into Xbox Series X this generation. Game Pass is a must and I can’t believe how many games I want to play each day.
I love that I don't even need to own an xbox to enjoy gamepass. I stream gamepass mostly on my phone and my PC. I am considering getting a Samsung TV for the living room in order to stream gamepass multiplayer games directly to the TV without needing any additional devices.
Ever since playstation has added ps5 streaming to their PS+ service, I've been enjoying that via my PC and phone as well.
Yeah it gets a bit much barely able to complete 1 game before i want to play another lol

@@jmxarcx1173^This. Or they were exclusive to Nintendo... Because reasons. Every elder Scrolls game except for Skyrim launched or just straight up was an Xbox exclusive. Before morrowind none were on even on consoles (just PC). Doom has a much different story but as far as I know it's just kinda been available on what's out there at the time. Like there are doom Nintendo games for the n64. But it should be noted the BIGGEST deal people made about the first party transition was Xbox taking the elder Scrolls away from PlayStation. Like what? Elder Scrolls 1&2 are to this day only available on PC. Elder Scrolls 3/morrowind (the one that REWROTE HISTORY FOR THE FRANCHISE) is only on PC and Xbox. Oblivion was a timed exclusive to Xbox. Skyrim is the literal only elder Scrolls that was available on Playstation day one.

I'm so excited for Avowed. It's a game that is looking like a hybrid of Skyrim, The Outer Worlds and Kingdom Come Deliverance with better combat.
Its like pillars of Eternity. Probably has automatic combat with party management like dragon age origins which is better than skyrim style of combat

And that's what makes a game unique and differentiate itself from others. There are plenty of Rpg games with realistic graphics but barely a fews like this. And its first person combat and magic spells looking very fun. It's my most anticipated game for next year definitely.

I really hope that Fallout 3 remaster isn't just a basic graphical/performance upgrade. I would love for it to be an actual full on remake that overhauls some aspects of the game and adds in some new features/mechanics. Imagine if they added the improved gunplay from Fallout 4/Starfield, sprinting, Fallout 4's scrap/crafting system, a reputation system for factions and companions, and maybe even settlements. That would be a dream remake for me and would be an instant purchase.

I think avowed will blow people away, and when elder scrolls 6 comes out in 30 years they'll be compared heavily and I think people will love avowed more, obsidian in my opinion is far better at handling player choice and character/story writing
In 30 years we will have Elder Scrolls 8 or 9, alongside Fallout 5 and maybe 6.

I enjoyed the outer worlds more than every bethesda game i’ve played so i’m extremely hyped for avowed.
Got low hopes for ES6, they already said they are going to use the same engine as Starfield (which is totally outdated), if they go with the same gameplay loop as Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Starfield, etc. , its not gonna be good. Its not 2010 anymore Bethesda time to evolve.

I invest all of my money into the Xbox platform I have been since last year about his time. I have 100 percent dropped any support for Sony minus Death Stranding 2 and Wolverine. Looking forward to Stalker 2 and Flintlock is another one I hope makes it to the end and releases.
Wolverine is going to be the reason I use the ps5 for myself and not the kids…. If it’s any good that is.

@@Yautja_Shadow I had the Xbox and the 360 during the 360 era I was into PC gaming and then my 360 RRD right away and at that time I was spending money on PC GPU's so I never replaced the 360. For the Xbox one I was on the ps 4. I had every Playstation and just missed out on the 360.
Now things have changed and after GOW RR there was nothing on PS5 so I switched to Xbox and so far it's been great I love Gamepass and UBI plus it's a good combo because I rarely find new games that I need to buy and if I do they are purchased during sales. Microsoft is building a great eco system with Game pass.

@@bobhawkins9598Skyrim has a decade of mods and supporting content behind it, and over 2 decades of world building. Every new playthrough is different because I'll swap in and out different mods. Sometimes it's a brutally unforgiving survival sim where I have to hunt and avoid freezing, sometimes its an easy going collectathon where the only thing I ever worry about is how much loot I can stuff in my pockets. Sometimes the atmosphere is dark and brooding, others it's a child's feverdream with bloom and saturation that would make Oblivion blush.
You can't beat that level of replay value with a 3 month old game that hasn't even gotten its first official DLC, let alone CK mod support. We are in a packed year of games, many people completed the main quest, and some side quests in Starfeild and are now awaiting shattered space or an update to add new things to do. In the meantime instead of playing Starfeild again, I am now playing Cyberpunk for Phantom Liberty, going to wrap up my Hogwarts Legacy playthrough and probably finish Tears of the Kingdom. Which is a different problem I have with the gaming world right now. Not every AAA title needs to be some 200+ hour experience I can't finish before the next one comes out.
I'm quite disappointed with Xbox's offering these first 4 years. I've been looking for good reasons to get both current gen systems, but Hellblade 2 is the only game that looks good. Fable may be the second, but it would be nice to have at least three or four games I want to play before purchasing. May just have to wait for the next gen system, but hopefully I'll be persuaded otherwise.
At least PS fans will get TLOU2 remaster, they get to experience and share the strong feminist themes with their friends and families.
Looks like I'll tune into the awards this year after all. I'm all in on a good 2024!

Started playing hellblade Senussi saga, very different, but very satisfying winning the sword fights.
It was ok for an Idie game but sure combat Sucks.

Final Fantasy 14 is my game of the year. Octopath Traveler 2, Blue Protocol, STALKER, & Microsoft 1st party games via Games Pass are all a bonus plus more.
Not to mention if they have any games, that aren't even being discussed. XBOX has so many studios, they are capable dropping smaller, but still amazing games, that nobody's even heard about. Just look at Hi Fi Rush.
Dragon's Dogma 2, Space Marine 2 and Avowed, in that order please. DD is such a fun title and the universe is cool, Space Marine 2 will be a fun (probably) shortish single player/co-op title that will be fun like a GoW title. And Avowed I think will be the story driven time sink. Not sure about Greedfall 2, I got time in the first one, and it wasn't a bad title by any means, I think I syopped playing because a new Destiny season dropped. I may have to pick it back up.

I think South of Midnight could drop next year, but Clockwork Revolution is unlikely since inExile said it was in pre-alpha back in June. So it's most likely a 2025-2026 game

Fallout 3 Remaster please ! But it really needs to be an ambitious Remaster. I would love to see Fallout 3 & 4 will updated graphics, physics, animations, and lighting & reflections. It really needs to be a borderline Remake. Fallout 1 & 2, I never played. Those two just need to be remade from the ground up.
I agree. While I loved 3 and NV over 4... i cannot go backwards. People don't focus enough on the gunplay and crafting mechanics in Fallout 4 that make it the quintessential survival game in the series. Going back to 3 or NV would feel like a giant leap back. It needs to be a remake. Not just a prettier version of the old, outdated games. It's not all about "choice and consequence."

I think the long awaited Family Plan will FINALLY be announced. With the Series consoles being discounted on Black Friday and Christmas around the corner, seems like a no brainer. We all know Activision/Blizzard games are coming to Game Pass in 2024. But nothing is stopping them from announcing what they are at The Game Awards.

You get report by one outlet and then that is picked by media and PS fanboys and then debunked for the most part later on if you paid attention. If you want to talk about disappointment let's not forget Sony had predicted early in this year, they will sell 25 million PS5 consoles this year (scaled down from 30 million they told investors in 2022 they expected to sell 2023) and now Sony is barely going to do half that for the year. They are so far behind those year predictions they are telling industry groups that count sales to add Portals as actual console sales. What is really dead is PSVR. VR2 is 100% a failed product and that is a worldwide failure.
Huge difference between a start to finish cinematic single player game and an RPG.
I really like the sound with the video, it's way much better in my opinion.
