Just want to say on this for people who comment on a 3+yr old video that things change. Personally I don’t like the route Xbox is going these days as much. I primarily play back on PlayStation now as I enjoy physical game collection and the Xbox side doesn’t have much for this. Don’t get me wrong, I still own a series x for game pass and all the great exclusives but personally I am just enjoying PlayStation more right now. But I own both and switch and pc. Just play games guys not platforms. Thanks
Find PlayStation has better exclusives. We better gameplay xbox is killing themselves in this f****** point Forza didn't help them. Halo didn't help them. Staffield didn't help them. Some more cancels. We all know they don't give to fox about the community
Ever single one of you are clowns xbox runs faster and better it can be proven to if anyone wants that yeah there might be more exclusives on ps5 but i got 507 games for 16 a month cant beat it not to mention my whole progress for many games back in the 360 days like black ops 2 gta4 alot of games people grew up to are still on this amazing platform anddd quick resume is awesome I can play 14 different games but my personal opinion I rather have Forza halo and the other exclusives Forza isn’t just a driver around game. You can really go in depth and customize a lot of stuff and have fun and upgrade your cars to the fastest so you can beat your friends and there’s also reward points so if you are really a gamer at grinder, they give free money and stuff out to be honest I could keep going, but the facts speak for itself…
I own both. But the one thing I like about Xbox is I feel if I buy digital I can trust I will have these games next gen. Sure it’s possible I won’t, but it’s pretty amazing that you can still play Xbox and Xbox 360 titles you bought digitally.
Right. I agree. Just recently I bought a PS5 after not playing on a Playstation for a couple years. Turns out they deleted my account and now I don't have access to my older games I purchased. I sold it and won't be looking back. F Sony!
I went Xbox Series X instead of PS5 and it saved my nostalgia. When Konami took down MGS HD Collection I couldn't play it unless I brought out my PS3. Which did not feel like a good option. So I bought a used copy of the 360 version and popped it into my Xbox Series X. Amazing. Also the wired 8bitdo Pro 2 made it feel like I was playing on PS2, just on Xbox 😂
My first console is the Xbox Series X (which I bought 2 days ago) and I absolutely love it so much. Quick resume is one of those features that I take for granted but I couldn’t live without.
😂 the one thing i dont like is that there's no color options.... i mean, remember all the variants that came specially on 360? white ones, game bundle colors, etc... e.g. it would have been cool if the Diablo IV Xbox X would have been on red+black swirl plastic or something 😅
During the Xbox one I bought so many digital games and they all transferred over to my series x. If this is how Microsoft is going to handle future generations then I will keep staying with Xbox. Knowing my digital library is not gonna be reset every generation is honestly just so big
@@NukaCola_enjoyer Please re-read what I said. The issue is ownership. When you buy a physical disc, you own that game. It is yours. However, when you purchase a digital copy of the game, you do not own the game, you only own TEMPORARY PERMISSION to access the game. I won't chill on this, because the more people that don't understand this idea, the faster we're going to move to the model of never owning our games. Do you understand?
@@miketexas4549some people don’t care man why don’t you understand that people play games for fun and have more important things to worry about like OWNING a house for instance
Another nice thing about X box is that if you play a game on gamepass, you can play it on your PC and pick up where you left off on your xbox and vice versa. Works really seamlessly. I actually do this with a Sereis X, a steamdeck and a gaming PC. Gamepass is amazing.
@@David-bh2ug agree! this is a huge deal for those of us who love couch gaming.. I don’t like sitting for 3-4h to play PC games on my office. Reminds me too much of work 😂
I was fortunate enough to get both consoles and even though I prefer the overall design and feel of Xbox, I still find myself playing PS5 more simply because of the incredible games. That being said, I love Game Pass, especially when my 8-year-old son wants to play a random fun game with me.
Games preservation matters a lot to me. I have a massive back catalogue of games from previous generations. Having a series X and it's complete backwards compatibility matters to me, whereas Sony doesn't seem to care as much about backwards compatibility.
I like the backwards compatibility but it does have its flaws it's not as great as everyone claims the older games you have has to be able to be purchased through the xbox store or you cannot play them....
@@bigbadchevyif you own the physical copy and an Xbox series X it will give the same performance boosts as a digital copy of the same game. I’ve replayed Far Cry 4 and 5 on the series X and they look incredible. I own both of these titles on ps5 and they have zero enhancements and still stuck at 30FPS
@Lucien Lachance yeah I'm just saying that the game has to be purchasable in the store to be able to play it....if it's a game that you cannot buy from the store you cannot play it on the series x. Because the console gives you the digital copy of the game you're not actually using the disc when playing an Xbox 360 game or original xbox game in the series x it's purely being used as an authentication key.

Primary Playstation guy since ps1. Recently got the series x, have a PS5. I can say I'm also switching to Xbox as my main. Game Pass is excellent and the microsoft rewards program makes trophy hunting feel like it pays off and gives you something besides a number. My deciding factor was Bethesda but I'm finding xbox better on other levels.
Actually I’m on the same boat I had a PS5 for a few months now and absolutely love it but I’m getting a Xbox series x as my main console and keeping the PS5 for exclusives, I was waiting to see what Sony were going to do to compete with Gamepass and is not even close, day one releases and tons of triple AAA titles, let’s face it I love PlayStation but Sony doesn’t have the capital to afford a service like Gamepass, although I commend them for trying but is just not enough.
Bethesda sucks Microsoft is killing them just like all the other studios like rare that get bought by Microsoft only to die of no support plus your not very smart as Xbox has basically no exclusives whereas Sony has hit after hit it’s almost unfair all the great titles coming to PlayStation but enjoy no games your Xbox will just sit there and get no use
@@yordan826 games pass can’t compete once Sony gets rolling Sony has way more classic games then Microsoft has made in their entire history plus people only care about ps1,ps2 and ps3 nobody cares about Xbox 1 and 360
I skipped a Gen due to work, but upgraded from ps3 to series x recently and love it! Main seller was backwards compatibility. I have all the Disney Infinity figures and some Skylanders for my 5 yr old and to play it on the new console from ps3 I'd have to just get an Xbox portal and keep all the characters in use. Replayability was the difference maker!
Would have to agree myself that my best memories and overall gaming experience were on PS2. Not only was the technical jump quite impressive.. there were also so many great games that my brother and I would si t and play co-op.. or watch each other play for hours. MGS2:SOL, FFX and yes.. even Jak and Daxter, to name a few.
Oh yes! I don't think there's any other platform, that has such a varied game library, as the PS2 does. What I love about this console, is that no matter what you like, you'll find games, that you'll love
I didn’t grow up with any consoles, but in the past year I purchased an Xbox series x and ps5 to go with my OLED tv. Being newer to video games…I really do like the Xbox game pass, definitely a competitive price. I think I find myself drawn to the ps5 more. I really like the exclusives even though they are costly. Haptic feedback and triggers and whatnot are very fun as well.
Yeah I plan to do the same. I play in my living room. But I want my own TV in my room. I kinna gotta get the PS5 and Xbox series X cos I got the ps4 and Xbox one and a PS4 pro and Xbox one x so I feel like if I don't do it I ruin the tradition. Might get a Nintendo switch lite too cos I got a Nintendo switch when it came out but Its run down. The first console I've had when I was a kid and ruined it. Also might get a N64 and NES

I have had all the consoles bar now a ps5. I have always played my games on xbox just through preference of the UI and the controllers, even though all my friends play on PlayStation I stayed stubborn with my own choice. I finally feel like sticking with xbox and getting a series x is beginning to pay off for me, especially with gamepass.
Yeah same. I played bout all consoles. I'm fine where I stayed. In fact, I love the 360 a bit more especially when playing gta 5. The xb1 has mine, so kudos Microsoft for this lovely device. I love our exclusive games better bc the quality, graphics, and game play. Playstation exclusives seem cheesy to me tbh no hard feelings against the Sony console. Not knocking it at all. Actually I'll play the game no complaints. Long as the controller not drifting. I hate Sony's drift that's bout it. Stay gold every 💛
I feel like PlayStation really didn’t have the good of games.. there games are hardly ever talked about anymore like god of war and stuff those games are old asf.. Xbox is consistently have new games that are way different then the other.. We have good worth it games like Grounded, As Dusk falls, Scorn, Sea of thrives, State of decay series and more !
@@unknownastroid_2240 yeah no nobody talks about those games at all. You're stuck in an echo chamber mate. Way more people talk about God of War, Spider-Man and the like. I'm saying this as a strictly PC gamer man.

Quick resume is also present on ps5 games?? I’ve literally loaded up Demons should by clicking the tab and loaded straight into a location I didn’t sign off at.
3 things why Xbox is better then Playstation. 1. GamePass: theres a variety of games you can play and you dont have to stream games in order to play it, and also Cloud gaming is fun, it lets u test the game out before you wanna play the actual game. 2. Backwards compatibility: I can literally play Black Ops 1 or BO2, and any other Xbox 360 games or first gen games. 3. Game Pass Ultimate: Xbox Live Gold, Game Pass and EA Play all in 1 just for $14.99 a month which is actually dope asf.
I’m on the fence of whether I want an Xbox or a PlayStation 5. The “logical” is the Ps5 but the “screw it” approach is the Xbox. (Here it’s like $1000 so I cannot just act on what seems good now)
@@darianleeif you want better exclusives and a better controller, get the ps5. If you want gamepass, backwards compatibility and just overall a better user experience, go with xbox.
For me it always comes down to the games you can play, and enjoy playing. Graphical power is a small factor when it comes to why I want to own a console. PlayStation always comes out on top for me in this regard, with Nintendo being second. Xbox had a good run with the Xbox 360, and I really loved the Halo, and Gears of War series from the generation. And the 360 was my favorite console in that period of time. These days I still prefer PlayStation and Nintendo over Xbox, simply for the exclusives. I really don't care about GamePass, PS Plus Premium,or the Nintendo Online subscription. They are just added bonuses, but not system sellers for me.
This I will always stand by the Sega Dreamcast as my favorite system, I went to xbox next generation because it got shenmue 2, and I stuck with it through xbox one (had a day one xbox one) About a year and a half after they came out I bought a ps4 out of pure curiosity and now I choose sony, Microsoft started pushing all their games to PC as well as Xbox so I would much rather own a sony and a PC, makes it much easier.

I’ve gone back and forth. Had a Xbox at my moms house growing up, but at my dads we had a PS2. Went for Xbox 360 the next gen, and it was great. Zero complaints, never got the red ring of death, and the thing ran until the day the next gen came out. But, I also bought a PS3 later on to play some of the exclusives I’d missed out on that generation, and I just fell in love. Specifically with naughty dog’s offerings. Uncharted 1-3, and The Last of Us, all in one console gen? They absolutely spoiled us. So I switched primarily to PlayStation. I still got an xbox one eventually for Halo and a couple other exclusives, but I’ve played primarily on PlayStation since 2014. Have had a PS5 since a couple months after launch, and I’m happy with it. It suits my tastes in gaming really well. I do have a series x coming in the mail, mostly because I really want to play Forza Horizon again, but, I’m looking forward to seeing what else the Xbox has to offer. I guess, this is just a really long winded way of saying that both consoles have always had a place on my shelf, and they probably always will. Buy both, play all the games, do what makes you happy, ya know? That’s my philosophy on gaming.
The ps5 controller is the best controller ever made imo i love the ps3 but never fully liked the controller the xbox always had the better controller for shooters but now i honestly think ps5 has the best controller not even talking the pro havent used one yet 😂
For me, it's honestly the backward's compatibility that really makes me glad I chose Xbox. And now with a lot of previously Playstation exclusive games coming to Xbox (like the Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Yakuza and Persona series), the Playstation doesn't really have anything that might interest me
but what about spider man? will it ever be released on xbox? cause I'd like tho choose xbox over the ps5 but the fact that I wouldn't be able to play spiderman 2 (this series is one of my absolute all time favourites) really disappoints me
@neji361style that's why I always have a PC around. Any game I want from Xbox or Nintendo at any resolution. And 3rd party games usually end up on steam or egs
We've had a similar gaming lifestyle growing up, I also started on ps1 as my dad owned one and then he bought me one. Had PS2, 3 and 4 and decided to make the switch to Series X (although I decided to switch because I wanted a different experience, I was bored of PS after only owning PS my whole life). Also had a similar experience when buying PS3, I was going to buy a 360 because Gears blew me away when I played it but all of my friends were buying PS3 (plus free online was a big plus). Really enjoying my Series X, love the controller and the UI, gamepass is favourite feature along with quick resume. Plus its a really beautiful console imo, PS5 is too large and I'm not a fan of the controller. Good to finally be able to play Halo which is one game along with Gears I've always wanted to own. It's a shame Infinite hasn't lived up to the standard of previous titles but I am really enjoying the game (I guess because I don't know what I'm missing lol) Good vid, I've subscribed.
Damn you missed out majorly bro. Should've went with the 360, so many fun games, literally the best times of gaming for me. Nothing will ever match those games. You really missed out on the 360 smh.
I had PS 1, 2 and 3. Yeah, that free online gaming though. And the red ring of death on the 360...... But I did go with Xbox Series X as well now. I had an Xbox One too
@@johnkovich8874 free online was great.. especially as I was a teenager still at school. Yeah the red rings was a big issue for 360. Ps2 and xbox360 were the best consoles of their times. I changed to xbox360 after PS2. Xbox360 games are still great and since they can be played with xbox one S and series X/S, I'm still playing them. I have huge collection (library) of 360 games and One games too. And Game Pass of course. I have also some X/S series games but not too much out yet to collect. It's great that they all can be played in same platform and with same console!
The few things I miss from PlayStation was the media capabilities such as: saving music, a music player, picture slide show, ripping CDs to mp3, ripping mp4 movies. It's why I keep my PS3 along my PS5. But your points are fair when comparing to XB gameplay. Plus, XB is best when paired with a monitor.
I had to get a new PS3 for NCAA Football 14, and some PS Move games. I really liked the PS Move system a lot more than Kinect or Wii. I hope to get a PS5 someday, because I like PS controllers.
I had the PS1 and PS2 but when the Xbox 360 came out.. that’s when I finally made the switch and I never had any regrets. And now.. as of a few hours ago, I can say I finally own the Series X ❤
Xbox consoles have always run quieter than PlayStations especially the ps3 and ps4 and my brother has a ps5 and even that is a little louder than an Xbox
Thinking of making the jump to Xbox myself mostly because games are just getting way too expensive and PlayStation Now isn't available here in South Africa. Game Pass just seems like more value for money.
@@theratking6755 . I have a Series, Ps4, and Switch with extensive libraries in them all. How does Gamepass suck when EA Play is there and Ubisoft + is coming soon and by next year, Activision and Blizzard games will be there too alongside the King Candy Crush games. Like what ? Bethesda games are there and all of the extra content for Fallout 76 is added free cause Microsoft owns Fallout. Almost every One and Series game is there and new games are added Day 1. Hell, even MLB:The Show 2022 and Rainbow Six:Extraction came day 1. I am a Gamepass Ultimate and a PS Now subscriber. I am subbed to PS Now only cause I'd rather pay $10 a month to get certain Ps4 games rather than $100+ for them. Games like Until Dawn, Infamous Second Son, Quantic Dream games, God Of War 3 Remastered, Little Big Planet 3, etc. Notice that these are all old games btw. Ps3 games require streaming and I'm not doing that lmao cause USA still deals with Data Caps. I played through The Medium on Gamepass without spending $60 and I don't care to replay it again. I will play through Halo:Infinite solo Legendary soon and I didn't have to spend $60 for it cause I don't care about online gaming these days and only care about the campaign aspect.
It's not that dumb of a decision to choose the platform that your friends are on. Hopefully all of my friends are on pc but this wasn't always the case. I had an Xbox and they had playstations and it took me years to realize how much better playing with friends is. Even with cross platform multiplayer it's a pain to communicate with someone who is on playstation since playstation only supports there own voice call service that you can't use on a pc soo one of us always has to get inconvenienced and use his phone for communication
I have both and I will say that Gamepass is really the BIGGEST advantage you can have. PS Plus has a few games that are nice but I don’t feel like I get more bang for my buck with PS Plus over Gamepass. Even if I were to get a Series S also, Gamepass probably sells me.
This is exactly how I see gamepass. It has one or two decent games but the rest is absolute garbage. Complete waste of money compared to the badass games on PS Plus Extra
I'm on the Nintendo and Sony camp. The PS3 fat was the first console I bought with my own money, and love it for the exclusives, free online play, bluray, and backwards compatibility. Moving to PS4 was frustrating because it can't play my PS3 discs. I was hoping the PS4 Pro was gonna be much better but the improvent was marginal at best. A PS4 with a good 4k TV looks almost as good. Honestly couldn't decide between the current generation so I just stuck with the PS4 (and a Switch).
It's been slower than I was hoping for, but Microsoft is finally close to eliminating the "generation" issue when it comes to gaming. I know that any game I buy now (or have bought for the last 5 years or so) will play on whatever hardware comes next... whether that's Windows, Xbox, or now streaming... possibly forever. And now with the introduction of more and more crossplay... Xbox One was nothing short of a total paradigm shift.
This is my biggest argument for moving over to PC. I was a Sony guy most of my life but not being able to play timeless classics on next gen hardware is one of the things I hated about Sony. It’s great to see people working on mods to help old console games run on PC or people making things like Silent Hill 2 enhanced edition. People loved these games so much that they’re trying to get it to run properly on modern hardware and making it perform the best it ever has.
I had the 360 before moving to the PS4, and have been lucky enough to get my hands on the PS5 and XBOX X early in there release cycles. Both are great machines, the Elite controller with the XBX is amazing, however I still find myself leaning back to the PS5. If I buy a game, I always tend to lean to buying it on the PS5, and I think its because of the controller. As much as I love the Elite controller, the Dula Sense controller is brilliant.
I dont know why everytone prise so much ps5 controller. PS4 was waaay more comfortable. Is it becouse of haptics ? Becouse developers completly dont use all potential of it. Controller too big and left thumb allways on pressure for reach analog. XBX way more arm rest controller. (Still ps4 best)
Agree, PS5 controller feels just much better and better quality than the standard xbox controller, the buttons, the analogs, everything feels better. However, I do prefer the analog lay out on the xbox controller.
Now with the Activision Blizzard acquisition, I'm sure that you are really happy about this. I have Ps4 Slim, Xbox Series, and a Switch with extensive libraries in them all. I don't plan on getting Ps5 anytime soon. I was a PS guy since Ps1 too and then the PSN hack of 2011 had my account stolen and then I switched to Xbox 360. Looking back, I'm so glad that happened cause I too noticed that games played better on 360. I was shocked that you went for One when it launched cause I actually kept my 360 for a number of years after that. I returned to Xbox when Phil took over and introduced One X and I got that one. Switching to Series at the start of the gen was a very easy decision. $70 games, upgrades to Ps4 games that aren't free, limited backwards compatibility, limited new games, etc.
Just bought a PS5 after owning an XSX since launch. It’s a nice change of pace. Exclusives are great (mostly late PS4 exclusives) and make it worth the purchase, but the Xbox controller and GamePass keeps my Xbox my default for multiplat games. I’ve owned every PlayStation. But sold the PS2 for Xbox, had a 360 and got a PS3 and went back to 360, and got a PS4 first but sold it for the Xbox One S. This will be the first PlayStation I’ll own during its life cycle since the PS1. Happy I’m an adult now and can own both. But I’ve always been partial to Xbox, especially since they’re more consumer friendly (since they’re behind PS in the market). The Xbox One years were rough though ngl. Really rough.
Consumer friendly with all then RRoD, batteries for controllers instead of rechargeable controllers like PS3, had to wait till like the Xbox Elite to get HDMI, WiFi, a decent sized hardware, you game discs getting scratched, had to change discs in the middle of a game bc cheapa$$ "please fix me" didn't use Blu ray. And you had to pay to play online. Not to mention the bs they tried to pull forcing you to always be online. Forcing the kinect. Yeah, real consumer friendly. 😂😂😂😂😂

@@GORILLA_PIMP I think they fixed it finally when they released the Xbox360 Slim. Maybe the later model Xbox 360's and 360 Elites. I just went from problems to the 360S and hell it still runs. The only thing they never fixed was the disc drives. Those things burn out so fast. Literally have to beat on the top of the xbox to get it to read games sometimes. Had this issue with every xbox 360 I have had. Idk what issue internally with the disc drive that lightly beating on the top of the Xbox above the disc drive makes the disc keep spinning is or was but hey it worked 100% of the time. I still have to do it with my 360S sometimes.
Dreamcast - Xbox 1 - Xbox 360 - Series X for me. Not even a fanboy I just prefer the controller and games. Game pass is just the icing on the cake now.
I stopped gaming during the XB1/PS4 era, and returned with a Series X. I am having a blast with all these old games - they feel brand new with their 4k60 performance.
Totally valid. For me I stick with playstation because all the games I want to play are either on both platforms or PlayStation exclusive. As far as Xbox exclusives go, I haven't seen any that have given me that wow factor, but if push comes to shove game pass usually has it and I can just do that cloud gaming. And as much as I love game preservation, I'm just lucky enough to have kept all my old consoles and my games. Nothing beats playing the oldies on the actual hardware itself.
The original xbox was my reintroduction to console gaming since the NES days. I've stuck with it ever since. My views these days is we're at an interesting equilibrium in the console gaming market. I feel like in this moment right now there's more than enough room for all three major traditional players (I'm not well versed in the "smaller" challengers). Want a well established player in the market that gives you well polished exclusives and broad access to JRPGs etc? Hey the playstation is probably your best bet. Want something with all the power of a game console but you can easily toate it around and even allows your kids to play games while actively on a major road trip? Switch is perfect for that. Want something with top notch technical prowess, but gives you an easy way to get your feet wet by not demanding you actually pay for every game you want to play? Go with Microsoft. And if you feel like you want some combination of all the above, go for that too.
@@Holcanghost432 You can. It needs a USB stick and a 3rd party app and some know how of setting it up (there are vids on here of how). I pretty much stuck with Xbox since the 360. I was a PS and Nintendo kid growing up, had the PS2 and Gamecube and absolutely loved them but when I was 13 in 2008, I got the Xbox 360. The game that made me want to get it was Gears of War 2, and when I first played online I fell in love with the 360. I wasn't really playing much single player games at that time because online gaming was such a new experience to me and I was hooked. The main games i played online were Gears, Halo, and CoD. So when the XB1/PS4 gen came I stayed loyal to Xbox as my main platform but then I got a PS4 and started playing all the awesome exclusives. Now I'm still team Xbox mostly but also have a PS5 to keep playing the exclusives.

I had both consoles last generation, starting with the PS4, then Pro and then X1X. I had a blast with both. I think, overall, so far… As we don’t know what’s going to happen throughout this generation… is that Sony really has their finger on the pulse of single player games. Some of their developers just truly understand single player, story, progression, and gameplay. Always giving the player a little more from level to level or mission to mission. To keep them playing just a little bit longer, which generally turns into hours and hours of Just 10 more minutes. Lol. Xbox has a few games like that and they had a hell of a lot more back in the original Xbox and then Xbox 360 era. When more developers were taking more chances on original IP’s, we got some great titles that have since disappeared. With development costs being what they are… It’s not any secret why developers are sticking with tried and true formulas. Unfortunately, it leaves gamers wanting better and more. Xbox truly needs a handful of titles like The Last Of Us, Uncharted, Horizon, Ratchet & Clank, etc… that always exude incredibly fun gameplay and amazing visuals. The good thing is, competition breeds creativity, and hopefully with the upcoming batch of games they can get there. Starfield, RedFall, Forza, STALKER 2, Fable, etc… show a lot of promise. But what I really like most about Xbox is game pass ultimate. Which gives gamers every first and third-party games to play through. For $15 a month, your truly can’t beat it. It has let me play games that I probably never would have tried had I had to buy them and let me enjoy games that I may have bought anyways for essentially free. there are pluses and minuses both systems. But, being able to play and beat some great games for pennies on the dollar, essentially a quarter of what one game would cost you a month to play 100’s… is something that I truly appreciate and enjoy. I’m one of those on people who don’t generally feel the need to force myself to play new games on day one. I usually wait for sales for those games and enjoy them at a discounted price. Part of that also, is that I have a huge backlog of stuff that I bought for a few dollars in the past. So I have no rush into buying anything new, because I have so much to play that isn’t. On top of, all of the GamePass stuff. So it’s a win-win for me. I think owning both systems is a pretty incredible proposition. Just like owning the PC with a decent graphics card now. Because you get the best of all worlds and get to enjoy everything from all of the companies. So if you can afford it or want to afford it, the best route to go is to have both or a decent PC… Because you don’t miss out on much of anything and can enjoy gaming again without feeling you have to pick a side. Because consoles are nothing without the games that play on them… which should be the focus, not the hardware we are playing on.
I have to disagree with because no matter how great the pc is the games are not always optimised very well as console are more popular to get first hand build optimisation
@@unmei9055box definitely not dominating PlayStation... They lack games.. That's what Xbox's problem, the last game I had fun with Xbox is Left4dead.. @@rodebesalza757 people are so dihonset on here PC is way more layerd you have to make sure you OS or bulid can runn certain games and if you play different games this varies its not plug and play for a lower price like a console! plus you have to upgrade your build when games innovate and get better so does your hardware and software and thats not cheap!
I have both and honestly game pass alone kind of makes xbox the better bang for your buck just because I can play AAA games at launch, no 2 hour trial crap that PlayStation does. With that said though PlayStation undoubtedly has the better games overall, a superior controller, and just better overall legacy. In the end I personally would recommend BOTH because multiplayer is next level on xbox Live, while single player story driven adventures are next level on PlayStation. What makes this "console war" so great is really there are no losers, both consoles have something unique and great to offer.
Sony didn't do anything that made me say "screw this I'm leaving;" not in the way that Xbox One made me skip that generation entirely. I just think Microsoft has done a lot to right the ship in the last 2 or 3 years, and so I went from the PS4 back to my original favorite console by getting a Series X.
I switched too, and I like pretty much everything better about series x over ps5. I was always a sony guy in the past. I'm hearing of a lot of people leaving sony for xbox
bc Xbox is getting chraper and Sony pricy but I think thats totally fine... You wan't a great massive game with good gp and a crazy story that grabs you? Then you gonna pay for it and 80€ are ok.
Same. I've never been a fan of a lot of the PS exclusives and play more third-party and Xbox games anyway and now Xbox has ZeniMax Media/Bethesda and more on the way.
I switched to Xbox from the PS2 to the OG Xbox for my primary console. Loved the 360 and the One generation was tough (thankfully owning a One X helped me though most of that gen but the PS4 Pro was/is awesome too) and the Series generation (luckily own a Series X) is stunning, great to once again see the Xbox brand in full gear.
@@colingordon0986 Still have a standard PS4. I never upgraded to the One X though staying with my original X1, was still able to play the latest games till I got a Series X back in May 2022. Absolutely no desire to get a PS5. I also owned a PS3 and a 360 and in both generations, the PS3 and PS4 just sat there collecting dust and played all my games on the Xboxes, mainly because it had the superior controller!
I already have a decent PC so for me it made sense to go with PS5, particularly for some of the exclusives, notably Bloodborne... That said I think the Series X is absolutely incredible and would probably be my choice for top console overall if I didn't already have a PC.
Thing is that the Xbox is great to pair with the pc cause all off your progress will be saved and transferred to the other. like if u play the campaign for halo on Xbox you can continue that on pc. And PlayStation has some good exclusive so I u wanting the PS just for the exclusives.
@@555-maximized But what's the point in buying an Xbox if you already have a PC, and all Xbox games are available on PC? Seems like a waste of money imo. Most PS games are coming out on PC now, they're just becoming timed exclusives instead. Only console it makes sense to get if you already have a PC is a Switch, Nintendo won't be releasing any of their exclusives anywhere else.
I switched too lol. I've been with Sony all my life. The Series X was my first Xbox since the 360. It's gamepass for me. Well, and the massive amount of settings/features. I do have both consoles tho.
I'm a PlayStation guy but I'm going to get a Xbox Series S for Halo because I only play COD BF and Rocketleague. But I'll get a PS5 when they release the PS VR 2 because the VR is so badass especially with shooters. The VR gives you that old feeling like when the consoles were a huge jump in everything. It's a whole new crazy experience that you can't understand until you actually try a real VR. UA-cam won't give it justice

I love Xbox for Forza Horizon and RPGs from Obsidian and Bethesda's. Whereas, I love PlayStation for exclusive Souls-likes, top-tier 1st party like God of War, and JRPGs like Persona. I have already scored a PS5 and I think I can wait a little longer to get a XSX since I see no good exclusives in sight. I will most likely get it before Starfield releases.

I’ve “switched” as well, still not got the bloody Xbox yet but that’s another issues. Just got bored of the PS, frequently hit the PS game store and nothing (nothing) appeals. Looking forward to Forza, Halo and the extensive back catalogue. A new world!!!!!
Hey buddy, I have an Xbox and there is nothing and I mean nothing to play. Halo is very bad and unfun, forza is OK but I think the crew is better, and that is the only two games that xbox has, and their not worth switching to just to play them.
You bring up a good point in that Xbox has been doing really well in supporting backwards compatibility and it's an area that Playstation has fallen behind. They've done some stuff to shore this up with their new PS+ plans which competes with Game Pass, but neither honestly appeals to me so I can't speak to them. I think with Sony it is too late to fix backwards compatibility with older titles apart from remakes, but they are at least good in that department(IE Demon's Souls) and PS4 titles work well. This still remains the biggest area I envy Xbox in however. I've been with Playstation since the PS2 era though I like to think I've grown out of my younger fanboy self. One big reason I'm still with PlayStation are the exclusives, and while I honestly don't care for most Sony exclusives the ones I do are very important to me. Nioh and Nioh 2 aren't first party but are among the best games I played last gen, and of course the exclusivity preference From Soft titles give to Playstation is another big reason. Sony is bringing some of them to PC is nice, but not all and usually only after some time. Xbox seems to be learning and have purchased a bunch of studios recently so we'll see how that goes. Some of them I rather like such as Double Fine or Ninja Theory while others like Blizzard I've grown a very negative opinion of. How MS manages them will greatly impact what they make, so again we'll have to wait and see how that goes. I also want to add that while I approve of what Xbox has been doing recently, I still remember how badly as a company they managed the 360 and early Xbox One so I'd need more of a track record before I'd consider switching or investing. Finally, PC+Playstation+Switch remains a solid strategy, and while I don't play PC much if Xbox ever does publish a must-play game I can always do that.
Indeed, PC+Playstation has always been the best combo for me since the launch of PS1 back in 1995. The DSLite is my last Nintendo system, though the Switch looks tempting.
Playstation has put in more effort in supporting older games than Xbox has ever done. They recently updated the old PS3 firmware for better optimization. Xbox doesn't update their games at all. They still put in effort to ban hackers.
@@CoDSucks backwards compatible is not the actual old systems. You talking about the firmware update for PS3 has nothing to do with BC which Sony doesn't have past PS4 on PS5. The PS2 games on PS5 are PS4 remasters and the PS3 games can only be streamed vs Xbox allowing you to play Xbox OG, 360, and XBone all on series X/S and if you have the disc you can put it in and play.
@@illusioned0ne Ps3 is old games. Same with 360. Yes, they still support then as well and ban hackers if you report them. Xbox doesn't do anything. Most hackers on Xbox are 10 year old squeaker who convinced their mom to buy them a modded console to harass players.
Excellent explanation! You really got me on board of the xbox now. Though I was already with the game pass. And now that I learned that I only need a samsung tv to play gamepass. 🤩'cause my tv is 10 years old. Get's a bit expensive to buy a tv on top of a console. I also now remember the titles I used to have and I do miss a bit..
I don't disagree with you bro, but if you own both the consoles, you are lucky. You can enjoy both the worlds. Backwards compatibility with frame boost technology and visual appearance would make me buy XBOX.
I grew up on Playstation, and played everything from PS1 to PS3 era. Two reasons I switched to Xbox after PS3 era was I liked the library of games better (especially if you like Star Wars games), more backwards compatibility, and the fact Microsoft has been making much smarter marketing decisions as a whole. After my PS3 got fried from a power surge, I bought an Xbox 360 (in 2011). I had that for eight years until it croaked, and it was a great console. I bought an Xbox One, and loved it. Once I got the Series X, I love this console, and I love backwards compatibility. The only reason I would still play Playstation is just to play SOCOM, Gran Turismo, and Twisted Metal, and that is only for retro gaming purposes. For modern and retro, I can play the Series X, or play my original Xbox (for only retro). I'm glad Crash Bandicoot, the latest Ace Combat, and Spyro are able to be played on Xbox Series X now.
I switched sides from Xbox 360 onwards as my main console. Although I still owned a PS3 and then a PS4 to play Playstation’s exclusives, and I intend to do the same this generation. Having said that, the Series X is on its way to becoming my favorite console ever and Gamepass is one of the main reasons.
Well Ps5 now has a gamepass so there went the only thing Xbox had on it . I have both and the PS5 kills it visually. Which makes no sense bc xbox is more powerful. But they don’t utilize the power advantage. I don’t know if it’s the engine that ps5 exclusives use or what but my series x games look like crap in comparison. I thought most games use unreal engine so I can’t figure the difference in visuals .
@@NDMatrix sounds to me like u need glasses or u are just straight lying. i have series x and my sis has ps5 and we played them side by side and xbox looks and runs better. u should really get those eyes checked bro...
While I have never owned an original xbox, i still had a 360 and now a series S. I also had at varying points in time a ps1, gameboy advance, Ps2, PSP, Nintendo 2DS Lite, Ps3, Ps4 and a Switch (Right now its just the Ps4 and the Series S). No XBox system competing was a better option than the Ps2 or the Ps4. The 360 was better than the Ps3 though and right now the Series XlS is looking to be better than the PS5 but its still very early in the current gen cycle and I don't plan on getting a pS5 till November next year (for ff7 remake 2, will play God of War on the Ps4 or borrow my cousins Ps5 ) so the jury is still out on this gen.
I switched too, I absolutely love my Series S, and I believe it's the best deal in gaming by far. $50 more than the anemic switch lite and $150 less than the digital PS5.
I was lucky enough to get both shortly after launch, and while i think it's more even that last generation, PlayStation has taken the edge a little bit. The controller is much more prestine, there are more high quality exclusives, and ps plus (while not on the same level as game pass) still gives you a good collection of games for your dollar. It's helped me experience old and new games alike such as ff7, shadow of the Colossus, uncharted 4, which are games i wouldn't have tried without it
I’ve had PlayStation my whole life and now I’m thinking about switching and it’s been the hardest decision ever because all of my friends play PlayStation and I’m just used to it
That's a dumb reason not to switch because all of your friends has a PlayStation. Those "friends" are probably people you never met and you can make more friends on Xbox Live.
I have both and which gets played more depends on what’s out. When Halo Infinite dropped the Xbox was played more, when Horizon 2 dropped the PS5 was played more. I never understood these declaration videos. People have to announce why this console is their main.
I recently switched from PC back to console and was set on getting an Xbox because of Game Pass and the Xbox controller but ultimately went with PS5 because as always there are just better exclusives on PS. And after playing GT7 with the adaptive triggers on the DS5, I don't regret my choice.
I think you are making some very good points, but I think they can only be persuasive if the conversation is about which one to be your main console if you are going to buy both. However, if you can only afford one of them, or for whatever reason don't want to buy both, then the question is, which console should I buy. In that case by far the most important deciding factor is, which console has better exclusives. On that front, the PS4 had the XboxOne completely annihilated, and there is no reason to think the current generation will be any different.
@@ChuckFinelyForever I mean, the power of being able to be on a couch while gaming is extraordinary. I originally changed to PlayStation because you had to pay to play online on xbox! And I would argue that ps has more of the kind of games I enjoy playing…..however recently I’ve been gutted with the crappy/ cheap ps+ monthly games that have been released. Owned every PlayStation up until current gen. Partly because of scarcity but now I don’t have any desire for a PS5 because of the price hike. Majority of my friends leaned to the 360 as did I because even having to pay for online, it was much more stable. Putting a good chunk of money into a gaming PC back before the pandemic has also kept me engrained with Xbox because of game pass and play anywhere.
I can see your points and some good arguments. For me though I’m an rpg/jrpg player. I bought consoles for 3 decades based on games rather than graphics and performance. For me, nintendo and sony had what i wanted where microsoft didnt. Or mostly had games i could get on other consoles anyways. Good video.
Thanks buddy. Appreciate the kind comments! We all have our own opinions! I have all 3 consoles. The Xbox is just where I choose to play my multiplat games! So yeah. Thanks for watching!
I got both Series S and PS5, tbh I’ve been playing more on the Series S lately, the main reason is the Game Pass, the addition of the Discord chat on the Xbox which I consider is a huge W. Considering PS5 is obviously more powerful, I think it’s not always about the graphics, but the services the platform/console provides, personally I feel more connected with most of my friends who are PC gamers. Of course I’m pretty excited to be playing GOW Ragnarok, Spider-Man 2, Wolverine, but I’m definitely gonna be playing multi platform games on my beloved Series S, also I’m thinking about giving a chance to some Xbox exclusives, Gears of war 2 and Halo 3 are dear to my heart, I really want to enjoy them again, and of course try their latest games
@@futurehendrix1706 yes bro, series X is more powerful than the PS5, but as I said, the services and the exclusive games that the consoles provide should be main reason of buying one, not just the graphics
I have done sort of the opposite ... SO FAR!! I started with a modded Original Xbox. I was thinking of upgrading to the 360 at one point and was comparing that to the PS3. While I realized that the 360 had slightly better graphics a buddy of mine pointed out that not only did the PS3 have a Bluray player but at that time there was no monthly fee to play online which I believe you had to pay on the 360. So those two details switched me to the Sony platform. After that i upgraded to the PS4 and only got as far as the PS4 Pro. I was thinking of upgrading to the PS5 but all the issues with even trying to get one along with how ridiculous it looks put that on the backburner. I generally wait until a system is out for around 6 months anyways to get a good idea of performance and issues. I have almost switched back to the new Xbox several times as it certainly seems to be the better system at this point and I have heard excellent things about the GamePass. Although I likely won't upgrade until an improved version of either comes out or perhaps I'll wait for the new generation. I've also been keeping an eye on the subscription online gaming scene as it seems to be improving all the time. With constantly increasing internet speeds I'm convinced that this will be the gaming of the future and anybody with a PC and an internet connection will be able to game for a small monthly fee.
You’ll never get rid of the latency at outside of any major hub city. I know a few people that have tried it, that are PC players and their experiences were all similar. It’s there, not horrible, but it’s noticeable. There is the convenience factor though.
I upgraded from GameCube to 360 when PS3 came out. 360 had more exclusives that I wanted at the time. I didn't care much about online, I didn't play online. I didn't care much for playing with strangers. I do more now, but not really. I have a few people from Granturismo in my friends, but generally if I friend a stranger it's for help with a game, not like I'm gonna hit them up and be like oh hey, you want to play such and such a game. Then I got PS4, PS5, and now Series X a few days ago.
But my issue now is my save data for Xbox is on my 360 hard drive. PS never required an internet adapter, whereas 360 does, and they still cost $50 on Amazon. But I was told I can't get that data, even if I logged in on 360 and transferred data from my drive to my account. (I'm not sure the support person I asked completely understood my point though)
Sadly cloud gaming will never compare to actual hardware running it. Some games play more more fine and run perfectly... but get into games like racing fps or anything that requires timing and you'll see where it faults. Latency will always be the issue regardless of how fast we get our internet. Even if we get it down to half a second delay the brain will always see it as off
The Xbox isn’t a better system it has useless power that is not used for gaming the ps5 utilises it’s power far better and the s also the system that game devs say is easier to build games for and is a better system all round the Xbox is more home entertainment oriented rather than a gaming console
I just made the switch myself.. I haven't gotten rid of my PS5.. but I certainly haven't been using it. I'm really pleased with so many features the Xbox has. There's actually a lot of games I didn't even know were on the Xbox. Games that aren't going to the PlayStation platform. The Xbox has taken I little to get familiar with.. but I'm very pleased with everything Microsoft is doing for the Xbox platform. I would recommend Xbox. All they need is a couple more good exclusives, and that would be a wrap with the console war.
At this point it comes down to two things, maybe 3. The games that each console has exclusively, the friends you have on that console(yea crossplay exists but party chat is just way simpler and it’s easier to group up). Thirdly is less important but I’ve had the same account for like 15 years. I just want to stay on that account forever
You forgot the real differentiator. The controller. I could never make PS my main because the symmetrical joy stick doesn’t work for most games for me.
My biggest issue with Xbox is the controller. From the placement of analog sticks, lack of modern features, and needing 3rd party equipment to make them rechargeable. But yeah I'll probably be on Xbox as soon as new Elder Scrolls comes out
compared to having to disassemble the controller itself to replace a battery pack on Sony when they wear out and wont hold a charge, Xbox has nailed the controller giving you the option to play wired (play and charge kit), buy rechargeable batteries and easily replace, or use batteries in a pinch. The offset of the sticks is much more comfortable, and general shape of the controller which Sony has started to copy, is much better than the Sony controller. Sony needs to make their controllers out of the box capable of easily replacing batteries, they are blowing it on that front.
Having blast playing the original Gears trilogy on GP right now. Don't have any chance to play it back in the days, now I'm even ended up buying all Gears games, cause I want to own them. Thanks to GP!
My little brother and I share a ps5 and I grew up alternating between both consoles. I had the Ps2, the first 360, the ps3, the black 360, and then PS4. My older brothers had Xbox one and my little brother and me shared the ps4. I preferred the ps4 during that gen but never had a definitive favorite. Now we have the ps5 and I love it however it does feel underwhelming now that I have played the series x with a friend. I’m definitely picking the x box now because of price, visuals, speed, size, the controllers and everything. This is the first time in my life that I can pick a clear victor between Sony and Microsoft. Ps5 9/10 but that series X is 10/10. I love it
I was a big Nintendo guy until the wii came out. My brother bought a wii and after Watching him I decided I want to relax when I play games. Not exercise, so I switched over to Xbox and haven't regretted it since.
There has been a lot of recent games (Atomic Heart, Hogwarts Legacy) that run better on PS5 so I don't think it is definitive. I have both consoles but PS5 for me is a much more premium console with better exclusives while the Series X feels more like a continuation of XboxOne (UI and layout) than a massive change.

One of the games you listed has a partnership with Playstation… so I wouldn’t really count that since they probably built the game with the PS5 specs in mind. Other than that you can’t deny that the library of games that Game Pass offers far exceeds that of the PS5.
Top three reasons why I switched from PlayStation to Xbox this generation. Number one, Microsoft actually cares about preserving games and backwards compatibility. Number two, game pass. Number three, best controller ever made
It sucks but if you want to experience what gaming has to offer you're going to have to invest in different systems. Always been that way and always will
@@david_kingori Getting a PC and being able to make it run games is thousands of dollars worth of money. You can really only do it if you are rich or your parents spoil you.
Backwards compatibility was a big deal 15 years ago but I don’t find myself going backwards anymore. I own both older systems and PlayStation exclusives have topped Xbox for years. You pretty much convinced me to get a PS5, the new exclusive titles Trump backwards compatibility everyday. The one thing I can say is the purchase one title for both systems will be a game changer for Xbox. If you have a last gen Xbox and are on the fence buy games that will work on Xbox x and series x.
@@deanjustdean7818 The 360 could play Xbox games too. Nobody really thought about it because it was always assumed you could play old games on new tech. I’m happy with my decision to own a Xbox series S and PS5 disc edition! The future is with downloading games and kicking the physical copies although it never hurts to have a blue ray player.
@@MajorBen During the Xbone gen, I thought it was rather pointless to get a one if you have a good GPU for your PC. Almost no exclusives as theyre all on PC. PC, Switch and PS are really the only gaming platforms that matter.
@@dbdvdvbhddbdbb Im not talking about emulation, Im talking about unique games. By your logic, PC would also not matter since you could pirate PC games. If you use emulation to play Switch games, that means it matters.
Yea, you actually have a good point here. I was kinda regretting that i bought series S and not X . But im actually reconsidering . The fact that many people keep saying that the difference in performance between those is not worth the price difference and also, the fact that i can take S with me if i go somewhere . I would rather wait for next generation, or upgraded version of X to really see the difference. I never thought about the fact that i would still have all of my games on my xbox account when i'll switch to next gen because i never owned the platform before . That is great value overtime .
Aside from availability right now, and cost, that's why i bought an S. The last time i had an xbox was the original back when it first launched. So for me there's a good list to catch up on and i figured now was as good as ever to build up a library. (First game i got was Silent Hill HD collection) I normally buy games on sale, or after there's a price drop and all the patches are there. But also... gamepass. And if you think about it, there's just no way that gamepass will be this good forever. Might as well take advantage of it, you have plenty of time to save up or put aside for upgrades or whatever comes next. And aren't most PS5 games going to PC anyway? Something that i wish more people would understand. Sony gets all this credit for games it didn't make, and there's a lot between the ps1 days and now that i was not amused by. Sony gets arrogant. There's no reason to simp for corporate knobs because "muh loyalty". My point is make THEM work for you, and give US what WE want.
@@derealized797 recently i surprisingly had an opportunity to buy a pc . For work and games, rtx 3060 OC. That is enough for me for some years to come . Now when i look at the market from pc side of things, there is some choices to consider for the gamers in general . U can have great deal with SS . If u dont have relevant device for gaming, if u planning to play gamepass only its a great value i think. U can buy a pc and will save a lot of money overtime because it cheaper to buy or even pirate games on pc. Cheaper to stay relevant in the future . Everything aside from starter price is cheaper on pc. If u staying on console and buying games it will drain your budget a lot more than pc overtime i think. There is a third way to play here, very specific and it will find his audience , its Playstation market. If u value time more then money i think u buy ps for exclusives if u interested in them . Also sony experimenting with new ways to play, and rhey will go on with that i think. (Controller features VR etc) . Surprisingly i admit that SX is the most questionable buy out of all options right now. Considering Gpu prices will go down, difference in game prices, SX and pc price differences etc.
I preordered an S at launch to give it a shot since I played PC before and I am more than happy I got it. Everyone I know ditched their ps5 so this is just a decisive Xbox win for me. I don’t see any issue with the S but I also don’t have a 4K tv.
@@ganymedehedgehog371 i have a 4K TV, but i don't have all kinds of money to throw around. Series S was a smart move for Microsoft, these things are selling well because there IS a place for it on the market especially right now. I don't have the patience to track down a ps5 or series X and since there's the shortage... it's ridiculous what they cost. Considering what people are paying for those 2 consoles, you can get a PC that literally just blows them out of the water. The point was, what's inside them vs cost. Well. $500 ok. But $1,000+?! Defeats the purpose entirely. Especially if you consider the games, there's how many exclusive games that go with those consoles? Right now not that much. Not until next year and beyond. It's absolutely pointless. The series S is great if you use game pass, or like myself you have a lot of games to catch up on (I wait for sales) And there's the emulation capabilities, plus i feel like over time the hacking community is going to do something cool with the S. Later on once things aren't so scarce there will be tons of S everywhere used and cheap, i think something will turn out with modding, and people will want them then. That's me guessing based on things I've seen in the past.
I’ve been back and forth between PC gaming and Xbox for years. PC sometimes has great games you just cannot get on consoles for example Escape from Tarkov. Now I’ve finally decided to buy a PS5 and see how it compares to the others, I’m really interested in seeing which system will be my daily driver.

Just want to say on this for people who comment on a 3+yr old video that things change. Personally I don’t like the route Xbox is going these days as much. You can really go in depth and customize a lot of stuff and have fun and upgrade your cars to the fastest so you can beat your friends and there’s also reward points so if you are really a gamer at grinder, they give free money and stuff out to be honest I could keep going, but the facts speak for itself…

Honestly couldn't decide between the current generation so I just stuck with the PS4 (and a Switch).
It's been slower than I was hoping for, but Microsoft is finally close to eliminating the "generation" issue when it comes to gaming.
I just got the ps5 and the controller has me ready to return it, so much worse than the PS4, the elite series 2 is damn near perfect.
That controller will be dead in 5 years
@@scottyee707I went from Xbox one x to ps5 and I love the ps5 controller. For me the ps4 controller felt cheap
Missing out ps5 so fun to play plus ps premium has so many games like honestly ion see the point in getting an xbox.
Bro is really sucking off a company that's trying to turn gaming into a monopoly lmfao.
I think I sent my 360 back to Xbox about 5-6 times in those days for RROD, or overheating. 1-800-4myxbox was basically #1 on my speed dial.
Why exactly were the xbox one days "really rough"?

Smart decision 💯💯, backwards compatibility is important and I'm glad Microsoft values that. You can also emulate PS2 games on the XBX.

Xbox hasn't been doing well in supporting f backyards compatible. They have issues, bugs. Hackers they do no thing about.
I got my Xbox Series X last year in November. I was very lucky and very happy.
Star Wars 💪
I switched sides from Xbox 360 onwards as my main console. Although I still owned a PS3 and then a PS4 to play Playstation’s exclusives, and I intend to do the same this generation. Well Ps5 now has a gamepass so there went the only thing Xbox had on it . I have both and the PS5 kills it visually. Which makes no sense bc xbox is more powerful.

Thanks so much for this comment! Means the world to me man!
Xbox series x is actually proven more powerful than the PS5
@@futurehendrix1706 yes bro, series X is more powerful than the PS5, but as I said, the services and the exclusive games that the consoles provide should be main reason of buying one, not just the graphics
@@futurehendrix1706 yet ps5 is better lol
@@futurehendrix1706 Your reading comprehension needs work. He was comparing PS5 to Series S, not the SX.
I was gifted one and I must say the series S is amazing! I was truly shocked you can barely even tell the graphical difference.
And now xbox goes to playstation
Facts! sorry i only just saw this now. please do consider subscribing for more Xbox content!
That's why PC best place for gamers
You forgot the real differentiator. The controller. I could never make PS my main because the symmetrical joy stick doesn’t work for most games for me.
@@Mdaftz this is true. I have never liked the PlayStation controller since ps2
@@Mdaftz just get a third party controller 💀
I've owned both the PS5 and Series X. Series X is the superior gaming system this generation. God Of War Ragnarok was epic though!

Number three, best controller ever made
See that is the Key Gamers like to play Games(old, now or future)! If anyone has an issue with it, they must be jealous.

Backwards compatability wasn't even a concept in 2007
@@deanjustdean7818 The 360 could play Xbox games too. Nobody really thought about it because it was always assumed you could play old games on new tech.
Then digital became a thing and Xbox/Sony realized they could make a bunch of money selling old games on new consoles. That's backwards compatibility
I’m happy with my decision to own a Xbox series S and PS5 disc edition! The future is with downloading games and kicking the physical copies although it never hurts to have a blue ray player.

@@MajorBen same. But I got a console as back up just in case the devs are incompetent and refuse to properly port a game to PC or has bad DRM.
PlayStation killed it till ps4, now it's dumb to not use Xbox
Facts!!
