I'm interested in seeing how much content is chopped out of games like starfeild. It just seems like Xbox games lack a lot of content. Then you have to buy ultimate editions just to get the full experience. Fh5 was fun but in 2 weeks you can finish it and then what? Buy the ultimate edition? Buy DLCs? No thanks.

My only caveat with Game Pass is that I’d have to do A LOT of downloading on my mediocre internet if I want to really take advantage of what it has to offer. This is one of the reasons why physical media is still viable.
Other than that, I think what Game Pass is doing is better than all current consoles. No wonder Phil Spencer is always so keen on emphasizing the existence of Game Pass. 👍

When u share ur gamepass with ur friend/family member and if u buy X/S version of the game but another member dont have XS version, can they still download the older version for free? Bec XS version of the games are more expensive so it would make sense u can download the non XS version of the game.

Iv got a Digital PS5. I’v already binged out all the exclusives & Im getting tired of not having enough memory to play all my games. I’m thinking of getting a heat sink memory card. But that costs almost as much as a Series S & with games pass included thats just more games for me to play . I think Microsoft were steps ahead in terms of affordability for the Series S & it’s definitely a beast I’m slowly weighing towards getting💯

Gamepass is a hard sell for me. I just got a series X with Gamepass Ultimate and its extremely underwhelming imo. Most popular games are Forza, Halo, GTA 5, and minecraft. Im guessing the main draw is getting to play new releases, but personally I will just buy any new release that is good
If they also gave access to DLCs, it would've been a real game changer

@Joseph07__ I guess it depends on how many games someone plays per year. For instance, I don't buy more than four or five games per year at best, and thats a good year like 2023. Then generally everyone has fallback games like mmo's and whatnot. If someone can't afford that, they had no business spending money on a console to begin with

I love Game Pass. I just wish I could change my mouse keybinds to my custom settings. PS5 is trying to compete, but they are far behind due to ignoring the PC market. Microsoft was more forward thinking, but it shouldn't be surprising as they are a PC centric company.

hello, i mostly prefer games to be stored on ssd rather then on hdd because of the performance difference. if you are like me who plyes on game at a time after finishing it deletes and installs new one, 500 gb ssd should be enough or you can go for 1 tb or higher, but i will recommend minimum 512 gb ssd

Hi! Yes you can still use your old Xbox 360 account on Xbox series x! All digital purchases will transfer too! And most are playable on series x! Gamepass is a games service like Netflix. You pay a monthly fee and then you can download tons of games to play! Also all Microsoft first party games are in the service on the day they release! Hope this helps!

From what I understand about the xbox game pass, it’s that even I don’t buy the xbox game pass, I can still have access to all the games on my console. But I just need to buy games when it costs money instead of having them for free. Isn’t it right?
yeah you can still purchase any game on xbox even if you are not subscribed to gamepass. But for about $11 you can basically play hundred of games (a lot of which are AAA games) per month. Plus you also get first party titles day one of release if you are subscribed to gamepass so to me its very good value for money.

I got gamepass almost one year ago for the first time for $1 (as they say) when you buy the gold subscription and for $1 more you can upgrade to ultimate. I got it for 1 year. My 1 year subscription is almost up. Should i get gamepass or is there anything better than gamepass?
In terms of value, quality and quantity there is nothing better than gamepass out there. Price is going up on 7/6 so make sure you buy up xbox gold and convert it to gamepass ult before then. Just paid around $100 for 3 years of GPU.

Sorry for the late replay, but I'm pretty sure once you buy a game via gamepass, you own it as it will be given unto your games library and don't have worry about it getting off from gamepass or if you run out of game pass, IF you don't buy it from the gamepass then you simply won't have access to it if you run out of game pass subscription or (rarely) the game will be off from gamepass list during days they announce of games leaving (forgot to mention but yes, sometimes games will only be there for limited time but IF you buy it eariler, you own it and don't have to worry about anything)

Idk anymore. I'm getting tired of gaming. How can I finish Forza horizon 5 in a few weeks? Lack of content for all these games. I'm not buying the ultimate edition of anything. Games should be complete and have all content. Not split up into editions and DLCs that should have been original content.

I play very few games. But when gamepass delisted some games I was playing I canceled my subscription. Not to say a lot of games I wanted to playwere not on the platform so I still had to pay for hem.

I don’t believe so no. I think that’s only if you do the all access purchase of the Xbox itself. Have a look into Xbox all access. You pay for the console monthly and get 24 months of gamepass built into that subscription.
With triple A games being an undercooked generic looking mess; and indie games usually being too short or not good at all, something like gamepass not only makes complete sense for our pockets, but it also preassures developers to not be lazy and actually make something worth paying full price for.
If you've found yourself hating games for a while and you are tired of WASTING your hard earned money on underdeveloped boring trash triple A games or too scared to buy games in general becaue you've been deceived too many times, then game pass is for you. ALSO you can stream to your chromecast, phone, etc and with a decent wifi connection and a good controller you're good to go.
Honestly gamepass literally saved my love for videogames and I can't wait for more titles to be added.

No once the game leaves game pass you have to buy it for what is retailing for at that point unfortunately
If you buy game you can allways play it with your xbox and you get discount with gamepass subscribtion

3:40 Not necessarily, I want to play Forza Horizon 3 which was delisted and right now debating on paying an overpriced amount to buy the remaining key to activate it. We know that past Forza titles had to be delisted due to the car licenses expiring, it looks like they are trying to extend it now to keep the game in the market for longer term as it is selling well, but it is no guarantee current Forza games won't be delisted in the future.
The fact that Microsoft bought pretty much half of the entire gaming industry means gamepass is going to be very desirable in the future, but I can see them getting greedy like Netflix once more people get on it and raising prices.
Xbox Game Pass looks great and definitely worth it once I get an Xbox Series X with the 6 month subscription on my birthday month I'm gonna have a blast I'll just get the Xbox Game Pass Core

I’ve been a consistent Gold subscriber for years now. At $60/year, upgrading to Ultimate will cost me $120 more.
Breaking that down, the first month is almost free ($1), and I got a gift card for 3 months ($45). I’m left with only $60ish more than I’m already paying per year which is the price of only one game!
No brainer upgrade for me in a month when my year of Gold expires. Add in Microsoft Rewards and this is gonna be fantastic
WAIT! If you purchase up to 3 years of prepaid Live Gold and then purchase 1 month of game pass, the rest will transfer to game pass. Look it up and everything I promise. It saves a lot of money

I really question the value of game pass. Sure it's cheap to get started but a console generation is 7-8 years in length. That's 80-100 months of constant payments and with nothing to show for it once you stop paying. I would much rather buy used or wait a year or so for the price to drop when getting games. Let's be honest - most of what's on Game Pass is physical games selling for 5-20 dollar.

The free month I got only allows me to play from the browser and the quality is like 480p or something like that, one can even notice artifacts and the titles I've played doesn't seem to support 5.1 audio
