hell yeah, you guys know how to do your stuff. like genuinely, as I've said before, one of the youtube gamedev projects I genuinely believe will become an actual hit rather than just "purchased by subscribers because they watched videos on it for over a year".
@@OandCoGames of course, but you guys absolutely know the importance of doing a lot of playtesting, actually show off your game at cons rather than just make devlogs where you show yourself making coffee and going on a walk haha. Not that those are necessarily bad, it's just that they miss doing a lot of proper marketing (like you guys are doing!!!) and their youtube channel is their only means of marketing the game. You guys are absolutely doing this right, hope you get the attention you deserve at pax west!
So great to meet you guys at Pax! Loved the new gameplay demo and am very excited to see how the game continues to grow. Best of luck with the rest of development!
This is so exiting! I’m a sucker for cut content in games so if you could preserve this demo and maybe release after the full game came out that would be super cool.
Maybe I am misstaken but I noticed the following watching this video: In the past I was always intereste din your game because of the looks but always was unsure about the gameplay shown. I never knew why it wasn't clear to me. But in this video you showed gameplay where the player dies or makes mistakes as well and I think this was not the case in the past? At least I never noticed but I think it shows what the challenge is of your game and instantly made it more appealing to me. Before it always felt very smooth and rewarding but I always thought whats the catch it seems so easy to play. So just to let you know that including this "bad gameplay" actually increases the interest in the game :D
Great call out. TetherGeist is actually designed to be very difficult, but I've almost always showed playthroughs where I make no mistakes. I'll be sure to include more organic gameplay where I'm also failing levels lol
Hope the convention goes well! I badly, BADLY wish I could ever go to Pax, GDC, or any type of game development event. But as of now I can't, hope I do in the future though. By the way, it would be interesting to see an O. and Co. game jam. Just an idea I think would be cool.
Very cool! Been going since 2013 and will stop by the booth. Sorry to hear about high price. The big names have all left. PAX is basically an indie convention now but they are still charging AAA prices. Either way it’s still a great time! Love the idea of a convention version for players to see more of the game.

lol I sure hope so. It's been a lot of work and will be for a while...

Yeah, we've certainly kicked around the idea of hosting one..

Good luck in the convension :)
Thanks!
Good vid! Good luck!
And Game Maker too eh?
Yes sir!
Heyy, im new to the channel and video game development. What software are you using to make your game ?
They use GameMaker Studio! I think Jordan talks about it in an older devlog, like #2 or #3.
WOAH!! , NICE I would have come to pax west or whatever, if I wasn't in india -_-
They'll have a PAX West page on steam! Not as cool as being there in person.. but at least it opens up the exhibitions to people remotely
