- This video explains why it’s important to replace your engine mounts and shows you why it creates a rough idle. I also break down which mounts cause each common issue on the acty trucks and vans towards the end.
This applies to the HA3, HA4, HH3 and HH4 models.
The Manual version of the mounts fit both the auto and the manual 5 speed models. The pre 1990 models have different mounts. For example, a 1989 4 speed model cannot use a 1990 mount without elongating the motor mount bolt holes.

hey thanks for all the great videos Maverick! mm i was wondering where you get your engine mounts from i'm having trouble locating them online. ebay has some but driver side mount is kinda hard to locate

I’ve got the 89 HA2. These are impossible to find as are most parts for my engine. How feasible is it to use the HA3 mounts on the HA2 e05A?
I’ve never worked on one with an e05a, but I was able to put ha4 mounts on an 89 model once without any issues.

I’d check eBay or yokohomamotors.net the rear right mount seems to be the one that fails the most on the Sambars. The front mount is discontinued.

Are those the correct tires for those rims ?
Probably not, the local dealer who sells these throws the cheapest garbage on them he can. These look like golf cart wheels too which aren’t DOT approved.
