I purchased a 5-20 x-sight 4k pro . Did the update.. well tried but found out that it already had the latest one already in place. My only issue which is a major one, when in day mode screen it is not very clear but can make most everything out. But in night vision mode. Hang it up. It looks like a old black and white TV where its nothing but a static screen. Cant see anything further than 20 yards.

I'm just wondering about the possibility of finding a forum or even ATN that might have data for a Federal 6.5 Creedmoor 123 OTM standard retail round (or any other preload) so you could just plug in the box name without looking up whatever is missing on the mfgrs' website. Also, have you tried to alter FPM based on where the bullet strikes at 100 and also at 500 yds (pick a distance, one short one long). I'd think consistantly shooting lower than expected at 100 and higher than expected at 500 yards would indicate a higher projectile speed that could pretty easily be adjusted in the ballistic calculator. If so, the faster barrel might be easy to adjust even without a chrono. I hope you understand what I mean and thanks a bunch even if you don't have time to respond.

I just got the 4k pro 3-14 a week ago & so far I’m enjoying it quite a bit! Only problem I ran into was when I connected with the app. It was a little buggy not recognizing the SD card then asking to reformat it. But I just deleted the app & retried the connection a couple times & finally it connected properly. One of the issues was it wouldn’t connect to live view on the phone & couldn’t see or download anything recorded on the card, which goes to the gallery. Then after getting all connected with the app & working properly . I took it out for some more testing & about 30mins later when pressed the video record button the screen froze and it wouldn’t respond to any inputs ! Extremely disappointed! Only way I could get it to turn off was by forcing manual shutdown, (holding the power button down for about 20sec’s) which took a couple try’s also! But other than that it’s pretty awesome ! Also mine already had the latest software version installed out of the box. So check it before you waste your time trying to figure out why you can get it to prompt the update!

I’m not familiar with that company, I’ll have to check them out! Yeah, like he mentions at the beginning of the video the ATN is a computer basically with a viewing system through it. And therefore it inherits the headaches & bugs to work out like most new tech. But all you can do is wait & hope there’s new software & updates to make it better! Or something better comes out in the market to try!
Hey there, just got my scope, and when going to charge it with cable supplied by ATN I notice the cable barely fits in the scope. Is that normal? It feels like it's not going in all the way, and falls out of charging port very easy. So, I'm not sure if the scope is getting charged? The battery icon on top left of screen is half way blue.
You are the second person this week that told me of that issue. I own 3 ATNs and this issue is a new one one me. I have plug the charging cable in and didn't feel it seated properly, so I just unpluged and it seated fine the second try. I guess i stupid but if its turned off how can you tell its fully charged. I have it hooked up and plugged in, there are know lights showing or blinking. Instructions just plug it in. Hmmmm ????
Hey, I just got my scope in few days ago from optic planet and I followed all the same directions for uploading the firmware. The issue that I am having is when you put the micro sd back into the scope after you download the updated software my scope is not showing do you wish to update. I not sure if the sd card I have is the best one or not its 32gb pyns card? and the other issue been having Is the scope keeps freezing up , it may do it when u first power it up or it may freeze up 30 mins later but its going to freeze up. I thinking about sending this piece of crap back because its useless to me as it is now with freezing scene. If you have any suggestions please share or I have a $700 PAPER WEIGHT.

I have had three scopes in a row with freezing up issues. They are sending me number 4. My scope has spent more time in the mail than on my gun. If this scope doesn't work, I will be demanding my money back. Probably going to go with the pulsar digisight.
The scopes work well with ScanDisk cards. Anything else may freeze it up. I know from experience. Take the sd card out and turn it on with it. That is one way to troubleshoot the freezing issue. If it still happens check your firmware make sure it's up to date. Right now it should be on 483.
i have formatted and have saved the update on my sd card when i load the card and turn on the scope i am not getting the update firm ware.. it is a new scope so is it already good to go?
I was having the same problem. I saw in the settings a firmware version number. I checked it against the download and the numbers matched. So the scope came loaded with the latest version.
My 4K Pro came out of the box with the latest firmware. Compare firmware version on your scope to the latest version on ATN website: ATNcorp.com/firmware. To check firmware on your scope: Turn scope ON Click "OK" button on top of scope Select "System Settings" Select "Settings" View "Firmware Version" and compare to version listed on ATN website. If scope has the same version listed on the website, you're good to go. If not, go ahead and update.
Class 10 is the minimum, with a max 10MB/sec transfer. I would recommend the UHD 3 as he suggested. It's maximum speed is 30 MB/sec and better suited for HD. Reference info here: www.sdcard.org/developers/overview/speed_class/
Supposed to be a SDHC card also!! I could only find those up to 32 G!!! Higher than 32 they were all SDXC!! Don't know if it makes a difference, but they did say SDHC!!
The ir is junk - I purchased a coyote cannon in 940 nm for my rpr 6.5 creed with Atn 4K 5-20- with abl 1500 - can see 800yrds easy - so then I bought a sniper hog lights lx 66 and put in on my rpr .22 with sightmark nv- suppressed -shines way farther than I can shoot it shooting subs- btw- only atn thor thermal is compatible - my atn 640 4K thermal is not compatible - its got that range finder you have to line up shoulder to hoof to get distance - I have a stabilized Leupold - but sucks at night- I just bought an act in black dtnvgs to scan with same with thermal - BUT I SUCK!!! - I’ve spent all this money in anticipation of retiring soon and haven’t hunted anything yet - as a matter of fact my shit isn’t even set up - that’s why I’m watching this vid -haha- thanks for your help
I bought 4K pro and abl1500 and can’t it because the horrible rings strip out at 12 inch lbs on provided rings so I bought the atn quick detach mount it done the same thing. I have emailed and called them multiple time with no response. I have one expensive monocular. Worst customer service I have ever seen!
I have several units and I never strip out the factory rings. Customer Service has gotten better due to them hiring more support during this pandemic situation going on. They have a Facebook group where staff members are in and can get you taken care of as well.
Pro prices. But really made for beginner killers that love to kill animal cowardly at night. Beginner to amateur product because its NOT even a 1080P & one CAN NOT change the battery. 1080p is normal and dated after 2020. This is displaying only 720p which will hurt your eye very fast. It's very heavy at over 3 pounds because it comes with a lousy kindergarten ir flashlight.

After u update firmware the u should delete it off the sd card or it will keep asking u if u want to update right?

Daniel Park make sure your plugging it in properly the cable won’t seat fully if you put the plug in upside down

Did you format your SD card in the scope? There is an option to format SD card in the scope settings.

it wasn't the sd card. I still was having issues with the scope freezing so, I sent it back and maybe I will get a new that works.

No it won't. Only works up to 64gb

Is this system water proof?
It's water-resistant, I don't push it in rainy weather.
Mounted mine on a.22 cal air rifle. It died after 15 shots. Buy a NV device you can mount on an existing scope. I need to practice what I preach.
