Hi , I'm about to venture into the world of Air Gun Pest Control, and was considering buying one of these. I started to read reviews and watch video reviews, a very high percentage of which, were totally negative. Then I noticed theses were all written and filmed around 2018. I was desperate for an up to date 2020 review to see if the glitches had been resolved. So thankyou for this review. It has now put my faith back into purchasing both the ATN and the ABL. Great honest review. Thanks once again, I feel a bit happier in parting with my money now.
Same as that, I have profiles set up for my tdr 510, hw 100kt and my calibragun cricket so it's simple to swap between rifles, Again with the abl it is brilliant for night work So accurate.
@@MAKE_PHOTOGRAPHS_ANYWHERE yea, just point it at your target, press the range button on top of the scope and the distance will show up on screen and the crosshair adjusts accordingly.
I bought a 4K 3-14 times... locked up 7 times, battery didn't fit in the ABL1000, cracked plastic, missing user interface including crosshair. Had to plug it into my computer and reflash firmware 7 times... now returned to ATN. Maybe i just have bad luck... but i would really recommend a research because there seems to be alot of issues with these scope. If it works i love it though. +Great video.
You don't hear much about the ATN 4K Pro scopes now but I still love mine. I've just bought the ABL 1500 for £200 as it looks like they are being discontinued with the recent launch of the ATN 5K scopes with built in lasers. The only thing that seems to have improved on some of the newer scopes from HIK Micro etc is slightly higher resolution screens but battery life and features aren't very impressive compared to ATN so I think I'll stick with it for a few more years yet. I've got it on quick release mounts on 3 rifles with 2 profiles for each with different ammo. Works great and no re-zeroing required - just point and shoot. The early firmware seemed to have a few issues but mine has been spot on since I updated it years ago.
Thank you. You mentioned you would have preferred the 5x20 zoom over your 3x14 zoom, which is also what I am struggling to decide. I plan to primarily use this for deer hunting, but will want to use this on my other rifle too for racoon hunting and also on my air rifle for pest control. I am interested in why you wish you had purchased the 5x20 now that you have had time using the 3x14 X-Sight 4 Pro and Auxiliary Ballistics Laser.
If you know the range you can enter it manually and the crosshairs adjust. The laser measures it and enters the distance to target for you so it's all automatic.
Just bought a Weatherby Vanguard for Coyote hunting and was thinking about getting this scope. Was worried about spending so much on it but now I’m not as worried.
Hello shooter. Talking about ballistics, many video but no body talks about moving target. Distance and target speed are the most important parameter in computing future impact point. ATN 4K PRO ballistic calculator plus ABL can correct the impact point for target speed ???
Hi, the scope looks amazing, why did you need to add a range finder when it already has one? Looking at lots of reviews and all of them seem to add this additional one on to the scope, have you used the internal RF and what’s your thoughts?
Great video i will be purchasing one myself. But if i set it all up correctly and then remove it from the scope will it have to be re zeroed again? Thanks
Hi there, great review! Always enjoy your in depth reviews coupled with our great countryside! I have an odd question, would the scope focus down to an object 5 feet away or would the image be distorted and blurry?

Thanks for giving details on effective ranges at night.
I have one of these scopes and the ABL on my FX Crown .22 air rifle and I am loving the accuracy it provides at all ranges.

@@PeakyBlinder And the video is awesome.
@@PeakyBlinder bro so this does actually adjust for u at short range? Long ranges ? Say 10 to 150 yards?
@@MAKE_PHOTOGRAPHS_ANYWHERE yea, just point it at your target, press the range button on top of the scope and the distance will show up on screen and the crosshair adjusts accordingly.

Good to know, seems gimmicky.

I think the quality at further distances would be a touch better on the 5-20 as the base mag is a tad higher.
@@Baileysshooting, yes it is the give and take of better field of view with 3x14 and longer range of 5x20. At what distance is the 3x14 limited?

Do you have to have the laser rangefinder in order for your crosshairs to auto correct for different yardages
Yes

Hello, can i ask where did you buy the torch mount, i can find him here in the Netherlands
What do you think of the ceap ass rings?
They need burning with fire...

Hi bud, thinking of buying this scope or a pulsar c50 any thoughts ....?
Td50 is an awesome scope and if the budget allows it the c50 is outstanding

If you already have glass you trust and that has side focus go rear add on like Pard 007 but if you want dedicated i highly recommended the ATN
Okay thanks for your time to reply keep them coming 👍 keep safe

Unfortunately not it only calculates your drop.. not for and movement left to right or vice versa..
What do you think about the pard008 or sightmark warth
Thanks for a great video -- just ordered myself one , them Sneaky Beavers (with the NO GLOW Eyes) going to be in Trouble now. :)
Is it rated for .450 bushmaster recoil?

The internal rangefinder is no good buddy.. it doesn't take a reading.. however the ABL does and displays it on the device
Good info buddy . 👍

I would think so, every scope should if you want accuracy.

I'm not entirely sure.. 15 yards is no issue but ill give it a test next time I'm out

@@AirsoftAfterHours and you buddy
Barrel length ?......my Rem 700 does feel way too long....243 btw
That rail looks a bit long, I would just cut as much as I need off for better scope adjustment fore/aft.
Did you switch back and forth using your suppressor at all? I'm curious how it handles that. Or did you shoot all suppressed / subsonic loads?
It was ran on .308 .243 and .223 suppressed and not suppressed it handled everything
Very good
Looks a good bit of kit buddy, very nice. I like a "real" scope for daytime use, so tend to stick to add ons as well.
