Did you notice that Popeye's arch nemesis Bluto doesn't have very many friends in this world? That's what the Transformers human cartoon character Spike Whitwicki said about the fictitious state Senator Sean Berger, of course. As a matter of fact, I didn't tell you that I Google searched for who Popeye's other enemies? I found one of them. And his name is Devon Larret. You have to dig deep for this information. I one time did this, you know. Which is: portray Randy Gray and his friend Lorenzo as Popeye's new enemies. I'm preaching the truth to you: Which is what I'm doing. Don't tune me out.
@@ANARDCUDUBH99 Exactly what I always want to say to people about the film, but most of them seem to enjoy this very much. But a sequel would be nice, because there aren't enough Tintin related things on this planet
@@HansonZhang-ri2lj I’m glad it’s dead because it validates how awful it was…. Spielberg ruined a classic and chose the worst possible lead: An Actual Teeside Tintin.

Really wish that sequel happen since it will be an adaptation of Prisoner Of The Sun and it will be directed by Jackson. Which is really fit since there some dark scene in the comic. And want to see how Andy Serkis perform as Haddock dealing with the Llama.
David Fox did such a good job as Haddock in these cartoons IMO. Just the right balance of gruffness, humor and a warm heart lurking underneath. The accent might not be what Hergé would have had in mind but I can't hear anyone else but Fox when reading the comics now, and even Andy Serkis' portrayal from the 2011 film - though good in its own right - will always sound "off" to me.
I remember when the movie first came out and was so excited to see they’d finally realised how good tintin would be on the big screen - wish they’d make another one…
@@RM2011ish That's true Tintin is iconic he's been around since the 20's I don't think the comics were big in America until the 80's or 70's to be honest lol.
I love the animated series, but Jamie Bell and Andy Serkis just adds another layer to Tintin and Haddock, especially Serkis with his Scottish accent and delivery of BLISTERING BARNACLES and THUNDERING TYPHOONS
In the original commics, the longest tirades in the original languages were: *"mille millions de mille milliards de mille sabords!"* In the French comic. *"honderdduizend miljard bliksembommen en dondergranaten"* In the Dutch version. And: *"Hunderttausend heulende und jaulende Höllenhunde!"* for the German version. Haddock was inspired by Edgar P. Jacobs who, (according to Hergé himself) could randomly explode in lengthy cursing tirades. Which is rather typical for the average Belgian, the French and Flemish folk at least.
So we can all agree Karl Urban needs to play this man if they ever make another live action movie For tin tin: Tom holland or Paddy Holland or Nicholas Hoult
Capt Haddock is probably the only cartoon character that swears left and right but still managed to keep it PG
So true.
Just taking notes

1.Blistering Barnacles💥
The last one got me. “License? LICENSE?” Cap is definitely American.

They should REALLY find a way to rerelease or stream the TinTin TV series.
I'm also waiting on that sequel Mr. Spielberg.
Netflix?
Might show on metv toons.

Omg so nice to encounter a fan around my age
I always love how creative haddock's insults are and a lot of them are pretty funny

That ending was so random, I chocked on my drink lmao-
David Fox (The Voice of Haddock in the 1991 series) will forever will be missed (1941-2021)
What Haddock say: BLISTERING BARNECLES
What i hear:
BLISTERING PRINGLES
This is the BEST comic book character I've ever seen in my life xD, it always makes me laugh at his bad mood. 😂
I need to watch all of these. I have a mighty need.
TinTin may be the main character, but Haddock is definitely the BEST character. 😂
Yeah, but sometimes his alcoholism is creepy.

Hands down, my favorite character in the series. Every time I hear "Blistering," I would always say "barnacles" right alongside him.

Tintin looks like a Doug character or episode lol. Unless it's the same producers but wow I didn't know they honestly had a 2D version of Tintin.
