- The more I listen to Tintin, the funnier the first gets. He's so Expressive especially when he's losing patience with Haddock sjkdkf he's really trying but you could hear in his voice that he want to punch a wall or a person (hence punching thst guard in Morocco)
Thus, this compilation

The captain is like twice Tintin's age yet Tintin acts like his parent😄😄
@Proudable actually no, Tintin in the books he's only 18 years old, and Haddock is almost hitting his 60s
@Proudable yeah he is, but there's a reason he's called like "a kid" a lot of times
@Proudable he has a disorder to stay young until death, sudden death after 75-80th bday.

At a glance this movie feels uncanny, weird, maybe even ugly? But a few minutes into watching it the brain gets used to and immersed in the artstyle and you quickly come to realize this is one of the greatest looking animated movies period. Like this holds up immaculately

God this movie desperately needs a sequel. This animation is too great to do just once.
Maybe in the sequel, Tintin can get a girlfriend which is something I wished had happened in this movie.
@@masterdrake43 That would be unlikely for him, especially since it never happened in the books. When it comes to French/Belgian comics, you'd rather expect the main character to remain single: Lucky Luke and Asterix met more female characters than Tintin and they still remain single. If there's a sequel, it should be about the search for the Unicorn and the introduction of Professor Sunflower.
Nah, this is fine. This one movie is enough. As a fan of The Adventures of Tintin, I think I don't want a sequel, or else the sequel will become like those Marvel or Star Wars sequels disasters. Im afraid the sequel will might ruin Tintin. I think this is just fine.
Hollywood can only ruin it now.
@@lindildeev5721 Who is professor Sunflower?
I actually do NOT understand whatsoever why this movie hasn’t had a sequel, it’s still very possible
Well, it took them forever to make this one. I think there’s another one being made, but it’s still probably taking forever to make, so it might be a while.
@@KBGVideos1 In an interview as recent as 2018 or 2019, Spielberg said he'd like to talk to Peter Jackson after Jackson was done with whatever projects he had coming to have a serious think about a sequel. I hold hope. Bear in mind, this film came out in 2011, same year as Puss in Boots, and we **only just** got a sequel to that
At least it doesn’t have to suffer the Bad Sequel curse.
I mean, in technical terms, if they decide to do another sequel, it’s totally possible. They just have to implement the red rackham’s treasure which is a rather short episode, maybe extending to other adventures like the calculus affair, castafiore emerald, or even destination moon. I would actually want to see Cigars/Blue Lotus arc as a prequel (He had the newspaper framed about it in the beginning of the movie.) That would be so cool.
looking at the state of film production nowadays, i think its better leave it as it is
“Boy, what a week!”
Captain, it’s only Wednesday.”
When you think about it... it's a wonder Tintin was usually so calm in the books and tv series. He could definitely wield a green lantern Ring.
Oh my God XD What would that make Haddock then? What about Calculus?
@@nickthepick8043 Haddock - Rage, probably. Or will, he is rather brave.
Calculus... Idk.
@@nickthepick8043I imagine Haddock would wear a Red Lantern ring, since he is constantly angry and belligerent in the comics.
Calculus, probably a Green Lantern ring, he is quite smart and humble, he could do wonders with the ring.
That is if he doesn't get a Yellow Lantern ring by accident because he can't hear what Sinestro says. XD
Valid comment
@@fenrirwolfy1848 Calculus can inspire great fear under the right circumstances.
Honestly, respect for Tintin's patience.. I could never-

*YES*
The cgi of this is just absolutely incredible for a 2011 film
The illumination on the bottles always hypnotizes me
Actually it makes sense. CGI was getting quality in the late 2000s. 3D was the new "it" look.
PLUS Peter Jackson himself created a studio that ensured a better CGI look whenever he directs/produces films.
The CGI/3D films got worse overtime because other companies took shortcuts.
Peter Jackson doesn't.
"IN A *BOAT* ???????"
Fun fact: The Crab With The Golden Pincers was adapted in full in the 1991 animated series but this scene wasn’t in it. This is the fans’ first time seeing this golden moment on a screen.

@@herpderp3916at this day and age, I think certain adults and teens who have become adults appreciate Haddock's appearance 👍
This movie did so well with the Tintin and Captain dynamic. Just like the books, where usually Tintin has to lecture Captain, lol!
I still absolutely adore the animation style of this movie. Realistic, yet stylized
As a guy who's read all the comics except tintin in the congo, id say this is nostalgic but its not based on "secrets if the unicorn" entirely, its actually a mix of "crab with golden claws" "the secret of the unicorn" and a small part of "red rackham's treasure". Also, sackharin isnt bad in the real comics.
Oh! Now I get the whole thing with collecting the golden crabs in the game!
The plots are masterfully woven together. It's got Moffat's fingerprints all over it.
Sakharine wasn't even in the Game of the Secret Unicorn
tintin was so much more capable in the movie. the film is such a masterpiece because of how it improves upon the source material in the areas where it needed improvement.
3:31 The one time Haddock was innocent and he gets the blame 😢

I think Tintin is the kind of son who will have nutritious foods for breakfast while Captain Haddock is the dad who will have cereals despite any food they have at home (if you get what I mean)
It looks like a really good videogame cutscene.
this movie was AHEAD of its time. i loved this movie as a kid and now. i remember watching the movie in my dad’s 1st gen iphone HAHAHA the movie was literally sooo perfect and fun!! i wish i could go back and watch this movie again like it was my first time
There are a few times in the animated series where he's also slowly losing his mind over Haddock lol it somewhat makes him human in a way.

they used the same tactics that the creator of the comic books that came before this Georges Prosper Remi who created it. This film caputres the same humor bouncy comety atmosphere as the comics. It what makes me so happy to see such a thing.
when i first met monquie in 2019, we were like these two. but no matter what i did, she never completly lost her patience. i'm thankful for that, but we made some good memories together as well. we were tight for 3 years, but when she moved on with her life at the end of 2022, it all ended for both of us and we never saw each other like these two again, but i don't forget about her.
I suddenly want to watch this film again
I loved this movie so much, i was absolutely obsessed with the borderline real looking animation and enthralled with the mystery and the story, Haddock was my favourite.
