This is a collectible image. Also, the action of viruses is shown here in a very abstract and conventional way. A virus attacks a cell in the body and replaces its DNA with its own, after which the cell begins to produce new viruses, instead of producing cells of your body. The big guys that resist infection are white blood cells, immune cells. They seek out and attack viruses and other foreign things. When they find them, they envelop them and try to break down the protein armor to destroy the foreign DNA. But if the virus is too successful, quickly multiplies and infects new cells, destroys the immune system - then death occurs. It would be possible to say more specifically what kind of virus it is if we were shown which organs it affects. Remotely, it looks like an intestinal infection, like rotavirus or novovirus, but it is difficult to say.
It looks like you need to make a cartoon where Hitler is portrayed as a virus that started a war in the body of a young girl who ended up destroying many lives, including his own.

There's also just freak chance; I remember watching about this, but swimming in a lake does expose you to many, many parasites, although usually those parasites are rather weak and your body can protect itself against them ("Swimmer's itch" for example is a non-lethal reaction to them). However, some kid just happened to get one of these in the wrong place (either in the nose or eyes) and I believe it killed him in the end.
