    Hey guys! Today we got a strength training lower body workout! This leg day focuses on a lot of big compound movements and really challenging your strength with lower rep ranges. You will definitely be feeling the effects of this leg workout days later. This workout will target your quads, glutes, hamstrings, and calves!

    Started watching you a few years ago and always used your workouts in the gym. Been demotivated for over a year to workout but started again three weeks ago and once again return to your videos.     I work out in a pretty busy gym so it’s difficult to do supersets without hogging all the equipment. Is it okay to do the workout without supersetting?

    Great workout! How do I track my weight? When I plan to do 4x8 deadlifts with 60kg, did 3 sets en then want to increase the weight to try, how do I note that down for the next time?? It’s so extremely chaotic in my notes with reps sets and weights. When I increase the weight, I try to do all the four sets and 8 reps that weight just because writing it down is so circuitous.. and thats really keeping me away from trying progressive overload.. help :(

      They’re are several methods to increasing loads and tracking but based off what you’re saying- you had a goal to use 60kg for your 4X8 and since the first 3 sets felt smooth you wanted to try to increase for set 4?
      You could then write it as set#Xreps(weight used). So it would look like this:
      1X8(60kg), 2X8(60kg), 3X8(60kg), and then 4Xwhatever amount of reps you hit (weight used).
      I also like to make notes to the side or below of anything I would like to know the following week to better help me choose my loads. So things like if my form stayed consistent with the increase, how i felt during the set, etc. So you could write things like “first 3 felt solid so I increase to Xweight and it felt… my form…next week I should stay or try to increase “
      You also have to be smart about your numbers and increases. Don’t start out the gate so heavy or increase so high that you have no room to grow or go up because your just stuck trying to even complete what you’re doing with good form. Start conservative your first week and then try to aim to slowly increase over the span of 4-5 weeks.

      Sounds like you’re putting on muscle girl! That’s why you don’t focus on scale weight. As long as you look in the mirror and love what you’re seeing, that’s what matters💪

    Your exercises are so descriptive on form etc...I actually have a personal trainer at the gym and he does not explain this much 😑
