Cheers. It was a fairly straight forward swap. It was easier to do than the v8 conversion on my HQ, but all the electronic fuel injection stuff was new to me for sure.
Yeah VATS is not in the ECU on a VS it's in the BCM , the BCM does not sync with a certain ECU so any will do , or just leave the ignition on for 45 min and it bypasses the " no start " and will fire up ! It's 2 hrs on the VT onwards computer.
I've got a old starr performance heat shield box that I can take a pick for ya and get a sheet metal fabrication to make one! They look nice and clean!

Nice work mate iron lion power! Get rid of the pod filter only draws in engine heat unless you get a mace box or go back too the original air box!
The only reason it is there is because i dont have an original box. I dont want it.

In SA you have to fill out an mr7 form. But no need for an inspection as the engine was a factory option for the car. Very easy process.
