@@inconspicuous_ox I’m leaning more towards the 27won front strut bar with the brake brace because of the one piece design and how the brake brace really seems like a different route than from all the other bars, I think PRL is developing one also so we’ll see how that one turns out 🧐
@@inconspicuous_ox as much as I’d want the orange to pop out and represent the color, I’d probably go with the black finish to make it just a tad bit more sleek up top under the hood
Thanks for watching!! I’d probably do the intercooler first since the car is more likely to get heatsoak and lose power more, pull after pull, especially once you get a ktuner or hondata
Thanks man! I got the street version because I got the street version MAF for the PRL intake, I’m currently running the phearable tune which I’m sure is fine for the time being as the inlet pipe really doesn’t add much hp or torque unless you go bigger turbo 👍🏽
PRL made one specific for the 11th gen’s, just be sure to purchase the 2022 + Honda civic 1.5t titanium inlet pipe upgrade, I’ll also send the link here - prlmotorsports.com/en-ca/products/2022-honda-civic-1-5t-titanium-turbocharger-inlet-pipe-upgrade-kit?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw7-SvBhB6EiwAwYdCAc5OBMek5KBl5T8uyKP7oiNGQTr3DwBHa-oO7XmnIvFAKHz9fLl-shoCI1AQAvD_BwE Just be sure to double check everything too before purchasing
It depends a intake is a good start, if you’re pushing for power and don’t care about warranty I’d get a Ktuner and get it tuned, that’s where majority of your power will come from, after Ktuner I’d get a downpipe bc that’s where the majority of the restriction will come from exhaust wise, then I would get an intercooler to keep power consistent throughout. Most people would get the intercooler first then the downpipe so it’s all up to you if you want power first or consistency first. If you don’t want to void warranty, I’d get the intercooler next, then wheels and tires
Nice vid 🙏🏻 bought one yesterday from some guy. The only thing I’m missing is the bolt it comes with. Do you know the measurements so I can buy it from Home Depot?
I don’t know exactly know on the top of my head but I’m pretty sure it was 3 14mm bolts and 1 17 mm bolt but don’t quote me on that! Lol! You can also email PRL and ask them the bolt size too needed for there inlet pipe and they’ll be able to tell you exactly what you need just in case 👍🏽
@@suhpreme305 yeah you’re right! Lol! Yeah that long bolt PRL provided that one sadly I don’t have the car anymore to get the measurements for that 😭 but you’re welcome!
I feel like you could hear the turbo more with the inlet pipe but I also had the PRL cobra intake with the Catless downpipe so I felt like all those mods combined helped heat the turbo noise better but I never installed the inlet pipe by itself to know for sure if it’s louder outside the car
The race version is fitted for the bigger MAF housing, so it’ll pull more air through, thus more power overall if that’s what you’re going for, you can run an off the shelf tune but it’s best if you can get it professionally tuned to get the air fuel ratio and fuel trims perfect and more dialed in
So should I go with the race version ? I mean I do want more hp and I can just use an off the shelf tune . What did u have to modify when u were tuning it on Ktuner ?
@@nathanloera2031 if you get the race version, the off the shelf tune I got was the TSP stage 1 tune or the phearable tune, once you buy the tune you would have to make sure when it asks which MAF you have to put “Race” MAF and from there they should send you the correct tune with the Race maf and you’ll be good to go!
So what I did was find the hole the bolts go into and kinda guided it with my other fingers and just slowly tried to turn the bolt until I felt it thread in, it was kinda tough but you literally have to feel for it
I’m still on the off the shelf tune but a custom tune is highly recommended after majority of these bolt ons just to make your car run even better in your ideal environments 👍🏽
@@shuvang yeah I totally understand that 👍🏽 yeah the inlet pipe won’t throw a CEL so you’ll be good with that mod, also a front strut tower bar won’t throw one for handling so that’s another mod also!

Nice vid. My boi “it broke off “ sounded so funny
😂😂 thanks fam!
Omg I literally had tears in my eyes laughing at “it broke off”
All I see in the rear view mirror was my fender liner in the middle of the road after! 😂😂

Once you get a bigger turbo that bad boy finna be LOUD
