I finally found a vid of someone who has the same issue I believe I have a cracked inlet pipe my afrs are all weird I hear a psh sound like air spewing out somewhere I ordered a prl turbo inlet pipe hopefully going to fix this issue
@@717PROJECT it doesn't go into limp mode mine might not be as cracked as yours was but one day one of my bov bolts came loose and pushed out and I think that's what cracked it because after I put the bov back on the afr never went back to normal takes longer to build boost and has boost surge wot when I shift it'll go from 22psi and shoot up to 26 for a second dealer tried to tell me I had a bad a injector and wanted to charge me $1300 to fix it
My knock would jump to 1.3, scared the hell out of me. I think when you replace the inlet you'll notice it will go away. If you pull on the hose attached to the bypass valve and it even moves a little bit there is a leak.
Wow! 2 minute response to your post? That's what you call product support when they respond with concerns like that. I like their front strut tower brace. I would get that from them should I get a 2202 Honda Civic. If I had the money a had back 2006 I would buy that aegean blue metallic Touring Sedan sitting outside of the Honda dealership two blocks away from my chiropractor, and not far from work. I would get the black out trim for the side windows from Jet, black out the emblems and get that spoiler with the notch in the middle. The Sport Touring Hatchback in Boost Blue Pearl looks premium in euro style, with the added cargo utility, but the sedan Sport or Touring is still fine.
Thank you Harry! I was already tuned when I installed it. But yes, you will have to have it tuned when installed. K tuner base maps work fine. I'm sure Hondata is the same.
@@reginaldxavier2147 it’s a pretty straight forward installation. I had one and keep in mind the plastic can melt if you live in hot weather. You can find examples in the Civicx forum
Yes, you will need a Ktuner or Hondata. I know the Ktuner comes preloaded with maps that will work. You can also turn off your P0420 and some other codes so you won't have any light on the dash. Hope that helps, appreciate the comment!
Never made it to the dyno! Traded it in 2 weeks later on a 22 civic sport. Dealer gave me $6k off of what I paid for it in 2017. Couldn't pass it up. Now I have the 22 Sport and a 21 Type R.
Best customer service hands down
💯

If you go full throttle does it go into limp mode? Mine used to. Couldn't let the turbo spool or go over 4k rpm.

They make great products! Customer service is top notch as well. Besides Prl, I most likely wouldn't go with anyone else.
Looks good. Did you need a tune after the install?

Nice!!!!!
Thank you
If I’m tuned with Prl race maf, will I still need a tune for inlet pipe?
no, but getting a custom tuned would be prefered.
What type of air intake were you using on this install? Do you know if it will bolt up to a stock air intake?
I was using the Prl CAI with the race maf. I don't believe it will bolt up to the stock intake.
Where’d you got it with red logo Honda valve cover? I wanna one that!
You can get them on ebay.
Could you provide a link? I only see ones of the other style but I like yours the most, because it doesn’t cover up the Earth Dreams badge!
Looks great! Where did you get that red engine cover?
From ebay. It was $55
Thank you
@@717PROJECT I found the one on eBay you mentioned. Mine didn’t come with any installation hardware. Did yours?

What does that part do?
Helps the air flow to the turbo better.
Did you notice any difference on the Dyno?
