Thanks! That sounds like something we'll probably do at some point. But we've got a lot to do still! We actually did do a video sort of like that I think right before we did the wrap.
Full mount set is best mod - put them on my FK8 and wow - transforms the car, weight transfer of the front end and the shifts become so crisp .....fixed alot of issues I had with the car in stock form. 62a is all you need - the 70a will create issues with the bosch knock sensor on FK8s Honda Performance runs the 62a on their track FK8 - they work
Got mine at the very start of the month with the catch oil can from Edge Autosport and the 62a rear engine mount is not that bad except from 1100-2000 rpm before the braking period which I heard it’s about 1k miles or so but I’m pretty please so far
Would this help with engagement feel on a cvt? Love how solid mounts made my TL feel. Since CVTs are inevitable I'm really hoping stiff mounts can compensate for the lack of engagement.
How would you feel about just the 62A RMM for a daily street car bumping around 240hp? Just looking for a tighter feel over stock without much NVH. Are the other two motor mounts a big necessity?
I wanna know this too. I had the perrin inserts which was nice but recently it started to vibrate terribly to point my entire car was shaking when I had the ac on. I had to take it out. I didn’t mind the slight vibrations but the entire car shaking was too much.
Great question. If you just do the rear, it's a great upgrade for a daily. You don't need all 3 to get a good performance benefit from upgrading a mount. The rear does a pretty good job by itself. As far as vibrations, at idle when the A/C is on, it's just going to vibrate. That's all there is to it. A good way around this is to raise the idle speed to around 1k rpm. That will help keep the vibrations down at idle.
When are you going to install a bigger turbo?? I’m excited to see what you go with, and some more information... I have a 2017 Civic EX Hatch and want to start modding, but I don’t know where to start
I thought that the purpose of changing thease mounts was to eliminate some of the vibrations and what not? What is the purpose of this if thats not it? New to the civics just got an si so trying to learn as much as I can.
If the stock mount is blown, replacing with a new rubber unit will reduce the slack and vibration. In this case, we are upgrading to a more firm mount, which adds some vibration into the chassis from the engine, but improves feel and reduces wheel hop.
Greetings I want to know if when placing the motor and transmission hasport support and the torque leaving stock transmits a lot of vibration to the cabin
Can I use the full set engine mount on the Civic CVT? and if can use it, I'm interested in buying the mount, but I've already bought a rear engine mount
On the passenger side, you can put it on the oil pan. Just don't put metal to metal. Have a block of wood or rubber pad or something as a buffer. On the driver side, I used the transmission.
We probably won't make a KTuner vs. Hondata video. We think they're both good. You can't go wrong with either and they both can do dang near the same thing. They have a very small difference in feature sets.
Please do a final vid like an overview on the whole car and what mods it has! Love what youve done!

Great overview of the install. I just ordered my rmm. Don’t forget to use medium strength thread locker on all the bolts!
Put the whiteline Anti Lift Kit, you’ll love it. Alignment is recommended after install
Just bought the hasport 62a going to install when I change my oil....cant wait to feel the difference

Type R’s are ugly clown cars, only a loser/sucker would ever buy one
3 years later good video
Curious if others deal with jerking and bucking from oem mounts. I’ve heard they aren’t the best quality.

Oh wait you said it in the video lol
I'm only interested in buying the 62A engine and transmission but I don't know if the NVH
62A is the softest mount offered and will bring the least amount of vibration into the car.

You should check out pretty much our entire 10th gen Civic playlist. We go through all the bolt-ons. It should help a lot!
Wooooooooooooooo

Do the 27won 90s next!

Upgrading any of the mounts will increase vibration. The harder the mounts the more vibration will be transferred.

Is this the 62A version?
Would I have to remove my front pipe
Where did they get that wing
What tune are you guys running and do
You plan on changing it?
We tune it ourselves on our dyno. We are constantly tuning it while we make changes to the car.
Do you happen to know the tq specs? I have a set of these in the mail
Where’d u jack up the engine to put the FMMs?

Ratchet man b roll
