Yes get that 9th gen! Have the same year but in silver with 120,000 miles on it, still runs like a charm perfect car for the money
I run tunerview from an Amazon fire tablet and use a suction mount on the windshield. It works really well and connects automatically every single time. Runs super smooth.

I think this is the perfect time to start selling merch. It helps get all the kinks out of starting a business so that when it does start to grow you will be more prepared. I may not be able to support you with buying a shirt (I’m a 5xl tall and not too many people carry that size) but I will definitely support you if you create other merch like key lanyards, flight tags, air fresheners, and other merch.

I originally thought, ehh wait till 10k subs, but on second thought you might as well. Income never hurts, you can get kinks out of the way, maybe even have better designs by the time you have more subs, and if you want to do it at some point might as well just do it. Pre 10k sub squad!!

I bought my pre-owned 2016 Civic Touring sedan at a Mercedes dealership two years ago. Trust me, that dealership isn't making money on a Honda so they will negotiate with a potential buyer who's willing to travel. My dealership knocked $3k off their asking price over 2 weeks for mine and I lived less than 2 miles away from them. You also might try some of these rental car companies that are declaring bankruptcy (Hertz, etc.). They're selling their nationwide fleets online for fairly good prices.

Hey Cameron, been watching your're videos, I learn a lot from you. Keep up the good work. I'm not sure if you found out or not but on the tunerview app you can change the those values to whatever you want by long pressing that specific one and a pop up will appear.

Tuner view looks very cool. I need to look up how to do it for a 2017. That Phearable tune is legit! Loaded on my car today, love it! You need to get a kickback for bringing it to light, lot of people don’t know what it is...their loss!!

Hi, so was wondering a couple things. Does your phone need to be a Hotspot everytime you use the downloaded apps? Second, if we are leasing the civic, will we need to factory reset before we turn the car back into the dealer?

I can’t seem to see knock control in tunerview... is there a way to be able to see it? That’s really the only thing I’m concerned about when viewing gauges. Just got the phearable tune and tunerview and I love it, but would like to know how I can be able to make sure my knock isn’t bad.
When you enable the pin. Does it need to reflash a tune??

Can you do this to a 2019 si? I just got it and so far I've installed the pedal commander and it definitely reacts quicker, but I'd love to add tunerview. I didn't even know I can get a browser on the screen? Also can you tell me what kind of phone mount is that in the middle?
I cannot get this installed on my 19 Type R. It just hangs at processing forever. It worked just find on my 17 Si. Any ideas what I could try to get past the processing portion?

Good video, as always. You do have more patience than I do as the first time I had to reboot or keep reconnecting to BT I probably would have punted the whole thing off of a cliff.
My PRL intercooler/charge pipe was supposed to ship last week too but is now delayed to the 1st like yours. They said it was bc of manufacturing delays. I imagine most of the popular brands are sourced from the same fabricator.
I did this but the screen just shows 0s. I enabled the Bluetooth thing on the ktuner and it still didn't work

Nice! Glad to see you setup the Honda Hack! I hope my instructions I emailed to you helped you along the process of setting this up. (Quick note: in order to prevent having to always manual connect to tuner view, make sure the box "auto connect" is checked off the next time you go to the connect settings in team viewer)

I feel you on waiting for the intercooler. I've been waiting 2 weeks for a PRL intercooler for my Type R.
I went with 27won intercooler and prl cai and downpipe but sadly all the prl stuff is on back order till july

Cameron does the phearable tune have that jerky feel from 1st to 2nd when driving like the tsp stage 1 tune?
Its definitely better than it was with TSP. I think it just comes down to driver error now
Do you have to plug in the Ktuner V1.2 or V2 everytime you use tunerview? Or can you just use tunerview without plugging in your Ktuner?
The ktuner has to be plugged in because it connects to the head unit via bluetooth
for everyone that has a V2, it's on the settings screen, click it, you'll get the same three options.
select BT PIN ADV, reboot. easy!
Where is the settings screen?
Just got a Uniden R3 Radar detector in my SI. Highly recommend if you have even the slightest urge to get one!
And if wires bother you like they do me, also ordered the “Carplay2air” wireless adapter for Apple CarPlay

You can do on the fly map switching right from the steering wheel, but im not sure about the app

Hey Cameron, just wondering if you ever had a issue with you’re tuner view app crashing when you try to open it on the headunit. Any tips on how to fix something like that?
I have had that happen. I think all I did was hold down the power button and rebooted the system
Cameron Hill I’ve tried that but it didn’t fix it. I did notice something on the screen that pops up when you chose which device you want to connect to. It said something about Bluetooth but I’ve been looking around but haven’t had any luck.
Would love an update if you do actually have to reconnect it every time you start the car.

I guess 2020 civic's head unit processor is much faster than my 2016' because I can hardly have UA-cam runs on my head unit at all; therefore, having all this hack doesn't do much in my case. Too bad.
When you did the honda hack and installed tunerview and once connected does it continuously connect through Bluetooth every minute or 2?
Mine works for like 10 seconds then goes to "connecting" for like 5 seconds and repeats lol

I'll have to look into those things for the Type R. I didn't like how much Hondatack slowed down the head unit in my Si, so thats why I havent done it in my Type R
@@Camhill182 good feed back I’m sure it’s a pain, there is a mirroring device I found, but I think they only make it for Lexus and other vehicles unfortunately. It would be nice to have it hardwired somehow so everything syncs off of your phone like Apple Car Play but with full function. There has to be something out there. I was assuming there had to be quite a bit of lag time with the processing speed once you hacked it to extend beyond its normal functions.
