  • Customer complaint was that the ABS / ESP fault light was coming on intermittently. Intermittent faults can be difficult to trace but thankfully this is a pretty simple system which just takes a bit of patience to diagnose.
I wish I could upload every job I do but it's near impossible due to the time it takes to film and edit etc but if you would like to see regular updates on what i'm working on then head over to my facebook page AMS Vauxhall.
Thanks for watching and as usual, all comments and questions welcome.

Thanking you for doing most of the leg work. The best way as you explain, fit it like they did at the assembly line. And make everything fit new, clean and trouble free. Common sense makes for a easier repair.

Great detailed video, thanks. Haven't sorted mine yet but this will help me a lot.

Where are you based please? My car has had this fault for far too long and no independent garage has been able to repair it yet, i just get told they dont know whats wrong with it.

Hi! Thanks for the comment! ☺️ I am in the North east of Scotland. It’s quite a common fault, the rear ABS sensor connections are under the car and the pins corroded giving the intermittent fault until they eventually break and give a constant fault.

@@AMSVauxhall Okay i will try again at another garage because were at either end of the country im in plymouth 😭 i just feel like im being ripped off because im paying them to do the job but its never getting sorted. So frustrating 😤 i also have a loose wire underneath the steering wheel 🤷🏼‍♀️ how much should it usually cost to replace what you did in this video?

@@kirstysmith3139 I would recommend an independent mechanic like myself that has cracking reviews either on social media or word of mouth. They tend to care more about the job than fobbing you off. I can’t remember what I charged for this job but I think the sensor was £40 ish and about an hours labour depending how easy the sensor comes out. You are at the warm end of the country so should be ok.
Let me know how you get on with getting it sorted 😁

@@AMSVauxhall yeah i haven't lived here that long to know people through word of mouth i will do my research on a few garages. Its not been that warm here the past couple of months but obviously not as cold as scotland. I will be back in touch if it's rectified. Thankyou for the rapid response 😊

Hey! I have a rattle in my cactus and I have no clue what it is. Car has been checked several times and everything was fine. It sounds like something is vibrating with the engine. Cant hear the sound when the car is stationary, also its not the heatshield. I have added a recording below.
I hope you have an idea what going on.
