      Salut. Aceasta este varianta de reparatie pentru situatia in care si conectorul de la capacul de culbutori are uzura pronuntata din cauza vibratiilor. Va urnma un clip in care voi vorbi doar despre simpla inlocuire a acelei garnituri.

      @@AdrianDragan am un 207 si m-a disperat.. am schimbat prima oara garnitura de la capac culbutori, apoi tot capacul cu alta garnitura noua, apoi garniturile de la admisie alea 8.. 😭😭😭 acu astept sa vad dc mai pierde.. la tubul ala alb care intra in epurator n-am umblat

Curata foarte bine partea superioara a motorului, pe acolo pe unde suspectezi ca ar fi pierderi, foloseste pentru curatare spray-uri de curatat franele pentru ca indeparteaza foarte bine grasimile si se usuca repede. Dupa ce ai curatat scurgerile si este totul uscat da o tura cu masina astfel in cat motorul sa se incalzesca bine si apoi verifica daca si unde incep sa apara scurgerile.

      ​@@AdrianDraganCiao Adrian, ho una Peugeot 308 HDi 1.6 da 90 HP del 2010, quindi la prima versione.
      La comprai nuova e nonostante i 14 anni ho fatto solo 87.000 km.
      4 mesi da ho fatto un tagliando completo in concessionaria Peugeot e mi dissero che è perfetta.
      Stamattina in garage per la prima volta trovo 2 macchie di olio sotto al motore, piccole però c'erano.
      Ho guardato dentro al cofano motore ma sembra tutto pulito.
      Non so, che mi consigli? Dovrei correre dal meccanico per fargli dare un'occhiata? I chilometri sono pochissimi e non credo sia nulla di grave. La distribuzione l'ho fatta circa 10.000 chilometri fa quindi è tutto nuovo. Non credo che possa dipendere dai castelletti. Che mi consigli? Grazie mille per la risposta.

      Hello. Many times I have seen oil leaks on these engines from the oil seals in front of the crankshaft. But there can be other causes. It is best to go to the mechanic for a check.​@@IL-TRIMONE-PUGLIESE

    I've changed the tube which connects the maf to the turbo on my car. The original had screw clamp which was a nightmare to get it correctly tighten...either the tube was loose or the orange rubber gasket was damaged due to excessive tightening 😔
    After changing the tube by of one those (with the spring type clamp), no more problema with the orange gasket.

    Mine leaked like hell on fire . I cleaned it all up and used PTFE tape on the end . Put it all back together and no leaks . That was nearly a year ago . I wouldn't mess around to much as these 1.6 engines are a pain when it come to the EGR fu-king up as I had to clean mine and then replace it and now again the same shit. I tried using city diesel, and diesel cleaner in the system but same shit different day . Thank you for your vid.👍

      Just replaced the O ring on mine. It's been fine for 6 years.
      These engines are quite old (pre 2011?) Not worth buying those new parts, like in this video.

    3:00 That rubber O ring looks VERY worn and almost flat. I believe if you replaced it, all problems would be fixed for very little cost. Please measure up diameter and thickness please - post it on here and other people can try it first without replacing expensive components :) O rings are standard and available from many places, even if peugeot do not sell!!

    La Mazda mea nu am avut probleme cu scurgerea de ulei în acea zona,in schimb acum vreo 3 ani pe când avea 175.000 am observat că injectorul de lângă membrana filtrului epurator se tot umezește cu ulei în partea superioară.
    Cauza era membrana pișcată (datorită uzurii avea o găurică de 1 mm ).
    Rezolvat prin înlocuire capac culbutori,din păcate la noi nu se găsește membrana separată) .

    It's better to make custom OCT instead of bying new cover & air filter. Even if you replaced it with new parts, the idea of releasing engine presure straight to air intake is stupid and will cause oil leaks into turbo eventually. This may damage turbo in the future.
    Better idea is to make OCT which will separate oil from the air. I am just in the middle of that process cause i was tired of everything around that air intake beeing covered in the oil.
    But this is a very good video anyway and keep up the good work.

      Salut. Dupa cateva luni de folosire inca nu am pierderi semnificative, a aparut ceva urme de ulei la etansarea capacului, urmeaza sa mai aplic o strangere a suruburilor.

    Good evening. Instead of just changing the valve, I replaced the entire valved top. With the new part, the car smokes excessively. A lot of pressure builds up inside the engine and as soon as I open the oil cap, it expands. I put the old part back in and after a while it stopped. With the new part, it is difficult to suck in the air, with the old one, there is no resistance. (Where the part is connected to the turbo intake pipe) what is normal??? To have suction resistance or not??? As far as I know it should be open at idle and close when the engine revs up. Do I know something wrong??

      Hi. If you want to change only oring, these are the dimensions:
      - Original width 3.1mm, outside diameter:31mm, inside diameter : 24mm
      You can try and oring with higher thicknesses, they will enter more fixed.
      In the future I will make a clip only about this ring.

      @@AdrianDragan 24+(2*3)=30, as long as it's a regular o-ring the size should say the inner diameter and the thickness -> 24x3 mm or 24x3.5 seems to be the original, I'd try a 24x4 o-ring maybe 🤔 but I'm also curious what people find optimal

    You have the turbo cover metal sheet broken in the left top side. I have riveted it with an aluminum rivet and a stainless steel metallic sheet to fix it. Greetings

I have a 2007 Citroen C4 1.6 HDi 109hp, and there is a leak in the area of the air throttle body (345E5) - I'm not sure if it is one of the 4 flexible rubber pipes that connect to it, that might be damaged. Do you have any video regarding a repair in that component?

      Hello. I don't have a video on how to fix that throttle body so it doesn't leak oil. The silicone gasket should be unwrapped and redone between its bodies, it is a common problem in this version.

    Salutare, multumim pentru informatii, au fost foarte utile cele despre ordinea de strangere si cuplu. Oare dupa atata timp nu exista o varianta mai buna/revizuita de suruburi pentru injectoare? Sunt foarte fragile, daca sunt stranse usor nu etanseaza sau se slabesc in scurt timp, daca sunt stranse mai tare se rup...

      Salut. Nu stiu sa existe suruburi revizuite pentru injectoare. Totusi cand am avut problema cu pierderea de gaze pe la un injector doar l-am strans mai tare si totul a fost ok, nu a cedat niciun surub. Este important ca atunci cand sunt pierderi de compresie si gaze pe la injectoare sa fie inlocuite complet garniturile si saibele de etansare + o curatare temeinica inainte de instalare noilor garnituri si saibe. Bine inteles ca strangerea trebuie facuta cu cheia dinamometrica la cuplul specificat de fabricant: photos.app.goo.gl/E38NAghw77pwTwHKA

    Is it possible that because of leak i got red low oil pressure error (STOP). I see oil on the top side of the turbine so i guess oil was leaking from there.

      Hi. It is highly recommended not to drive the car if this occurs or low oil pressure because you risk destroying the engine. Check that the oil loss is on the oil supply pipe to the turbine. It is possible that that pipe is broken and that is the reason why you have high oil losses there. Repair that oil leak, change the oil and filter and then start the car and see if you have the same error.

    Hi very usefull mine has this problem BUT mine also looses power sometimes just like it is going to run out of diesel but not total loss of power just a SURGE . ANY ADVICE I had a new egr valve and it still happens.

      Hello. The crankshaft and camshaft rotation sensors should be checked. But I advise you to go to a service that has obd diagnosis (Diagbox) special for Peugeot, it is likely that you will find out what the problem would be.

    Nu se putea schimba doar garnitura de la capac? Am vazut ca se poate cumpara separat. Asa costul este mult mai mic. 20 de lei vs 200 de lei

      Salutare. Se poate schimba si garnitura din moment ce exista ca piesa de schimb, dar eu am preferat sa schimb capacul deoarece la acea gaura in care intra tubul de admisie aer, la epuratorul de gaze, avea o uzura care nu mai permitea etansarea cu inelul de cauciuc.

      It's different leak. For that one you need to change the seals that go around the injector pipes.

      I have this problem too. Additionally my engine leaks oil from every seal I can see (cam, injector, crank seals etc.). I suspect clogged PCV as the pcv membrane is ok. What do u think?

    Salut am o masina cu acest motor si imi consuma destul de mult ulei si datorita faptului ca scoate tot timpul fum albastrui eu cred ca mi baga gaze cu ului de la chiuloasa in conducta de admisie sau sunt si pierderi tu ce zici care ar fi cauzele/rezolvarea multumesc anticipat .

      Salut. Din pacate eu nu pot sa pun un diagnostic, cel mai bine ar fi sa mergi la un mecanic autorizat pentru o diagnosticare. Cauzele pot fi multiple: segmenti pistoane, epurator gaze, turbina care scapa ulei, simeringuri care nu mai etansaza supapele...

      Hi i have a small oil leak out a turbo to intercooler hose the bit that clips onto turbo the green o ring when broken so i replaced it with a new o ring still very slight oil very little coming out still . Would you recomend change the turbo hose .

      The bigger problem is plastic batten that held sealing for windshield and keep the rainwater out of the hood. Mine was bent from broken wiper and now it doesn't seal well. Does anyone know the name of that batten/lath, and can I buy it somewhere? Ps. Because now it doesn't seal well, rainwater drips down on sound/thermal insulation, so I have to change that too.

    Thank you. May I ask a question? I have a 2009 model Citroen with 1.6 hdi 109bg. A few years ago while after changing the battery by force. I lost turbo power. To fix this they tightened something underneath the engine and in 5 seconds everything went back to normal. This weekend I tried to take a big cat out of my engine bay. She moved a lot inside the engine area. Today I realized again I lost the power of turbo. Acceleration is slow and engine is really reluctant to rev more than 2000rpm. What could be the solution? My guess is again a loose pipe but which one?

      Hi. When the engine is cold, try to clean with a brake cleaner spray, it dissolves the oil and then dries. Check in a few days and see if you can figure out where the oil is coming from.

      Yes it is true. Usually a change of O-ring can solve the problem. But if there is heavy wear in the place where that ring enters, it will not seal.

    La mine (in gura turbinei) am gasit foarte mult carbon adunat) o fi cauzat tot de “returul” gazelor? Aceeași problema ca la tine, nu sta etanş acel furtun. Poate cauza depozitarea de carbon in “gura” turbinei? Sau poate fi turbina defecta? Mentionez ca am curatat “gura” turbine cu break cleaner! Totodată, am foarte mult carbon peste motor pana si cutia filtrului de aer este toatal acoperita in asa ceva!!

      Salut. Trebuie remediata scurgerea de ulei si verificat traseul de admisie aer de la filtrul de aer pana in turbina, e posibil ca sistemul de admisie pana in turbina sa nu fie perfect etans si sa traga aer murdar din exterior.

      Salutare. Acel ulei de obicei vine de la epuratorul de gaze. Cumva este normal sa gasesti ulei in acea zona, dar un consum exagerat ulei poate fi semnalul unei probleme.

      Somehow some oil gets into the turbine but very little to cause smoke. Check the gaskets at the turbine connections for possible smoke leaks.

      @@Varu80 Probabil a ajuns o piesa mica in galeria de evacuare. Aceasta este doar o presupunere a mea dar pot fi multe alte cuze. Te sfatuiesc sa vorbesti cu un mecanic si sa-ti dea o mana de ajutor daca nu ai facut-o deja.

    Hi! I bought a Volvo 1.6hdi 80kW three weeks ago. A couple of days ago it started leaking oil from every engine seal (cam, injector, crankshaft etc.) and there is substantial pools of oil on top of the engine where injectors sit. Based on the massive oil leakage I suspect clogged PCV system (the membrane is ok). What do u think? Have any suggestions? The mechanics have told me the engine is blown.... :(

      Hello. Change the PCV valve or the cover that has that valve. After this, clean all the oil from the engine and see where it is still losing oil.

    You can fix this simply with a fatter o-ring in the breather. 40 cents fix (4mm width, 27mm out diameter, 19mm in diameter)

      True, the bigger problem is when the cylinder head cover no longer seals properly, like it did on my car. Or the hole where the ring is supposed to seal is so worn that it's no longer round enough to make a good seal.

      Salutare. Du masina la un service care are diagnoza speciala pentru Citroen (Diagbox sau Lexia) si sa aiba si un tehnician capabil sa interpreteze corect datele de pe diagnoza. Din pacate eu nu stiu sa-ti spun care ar fi problema...

      Hello. If it blows at the injector, you have to change the injector gaskets, there are 4 gaskets (if I'm not mistaken) for each one. I recommend doing this repair in service.

    Dar mai mult de 140 km/ph nu merge ,,,sunt altele exact ca si a mea si ajunge la 180 190 km/ph .
    De ce, o fi setul motor terminat?
    Fum nu scoate
    O fi fap-ul ?

      @@AdrianDragan am duso la mecanic ,a zis că motorul se aude bine fum nu scoate de accelerat se poate accelera la maxim ,deci nu merge înfundat,dar cand sunt pe autostrada maxim 120 km/ph
      Am crezut că ie discul de ambreiaj,
      Cred că ie ceva de electronică

      Salut. Ar trebui sa pui acel surub la loc pentru a elimina pierderile de gaze din motor. Ideal ar fi sa dai jos galeria de admisie si sa o cureti + inlocuirea garniturilor, de asemenea o curatare a EGR-ului nu i-ar strica. Eu vreau sa fac aceste operatiuni in primavara cand se mai incalzeste.

    Vezi ca ai tubul de aer care face legatura turbinei cu intercoolerul ,gaurit de la vibratiile tubului care a atins de motor ,deoarece are acel colier de fixare rupt,cel putin asa il vad eu pe filmare. Problemele cauzate de acesta sunt evidente,fara comentarii.

      @@dorelidulgheru9313 Din ce-mi amintesc nu l-am vazut spart dar o sa-l verific. Intradevar acolo sunt ceva urme de frecare si stiu ce inseamna pierderea de presiune dupa turbina.

    Ive had 2 of these engines now the first was a mess. Glow plugs snapped in the head, injectors welded in with rust. The one we have now i was thinking of removing the injectors replacing all seals etc and then drilling and tapping a new sized bolt and replacing with injector studs and bolts with thicker bolts so they dont loosen up like they like to.

    Salut, nu stiu daca ai si tu problema asta,motorul cald porneste asa lung si parca ar vrea sa sara de sub capota , tot asa am ulei pe la capac , imi da missfiring pe cilindri, dar valorile injectoarelor sunt in parametri, mentionez ca la start/stop la semafor porneste perfect ,pare ca ar avea o problema de compresie sau nu si ar lua motorina cat trebuie ,am vazut ca multa lume are problema asta si nimeni nu i da de capat , am schimbat si sensorul de presiune de pe rampa, nici o diferenta

      Ar putea fi multe cauze dar uite cam ce ai putea verifica :Distributia , injectoarele ,filtru de motorina ,verifica compresia motorului , Oricum daca mergi la un mecanic care este priceput til rezolva imediat credema :) Apropo ce model de peugeot ai ?
