Im getting my MSE installed soon and my orthodontist charging me $6500 (MSE + Invisalign) after insurance. I think wo insurance it was ~11k total. My dentist is LA

Do you have a resource for provider recommendations? I’m in Denver Colorado but willing to travel for the orthodontist if they’ll do a better job.
I'm 39 and currently investigating options for MSE/aligners in a low population area of the midwest. While these two things go hand-in-hand, I do believe it is useful if you can find someone willing to do the MSE separately. For example: I'm not finding any providers nearby that use any techniques to help split older patients like myself except traditional SARPE if the MARPE fails. But there are plenty out-of-state. I can't afford to travel for every follow-up during the aligner/braces phase, but I can afford to travel a little bit to get MSE with someone who has more experience with older patients and then follow up with my local ortho for the rest. This is the path I'm taking, but I'm still doing consultations.

Ron is correct about the pricing and treatment time. I got an estimate in California and The price was around $11k for mse and Invisalign. Also 2 years minimum for orthodontic treatment.

@@Jo-oh3qv The provider was smile power orthodontics in walnut creek in the bay area. I havent undergone treatment yet so I can’t fully vouch for them but my consultation was mostly positive with them. They are really nice and making a consultation is super easy, just go to their website. Some concerns I had was they wanted to get rid of my wisdom teeth even though they are airway focused orthdontics. They said I don’t have to get then out right away, but some time during the 2 year treatment I would have to get them out. You are also looking at around $200 dollars for just the consultation. They did seem really knowledgeable about mse though but I would be careful about extracting wisdom teeth as Ron as listed the many negatives of getting wisdom teeth removed. Hope this helps.

I do not have orthodontic insurance… But what about the MSE procedure and appliance…. is that covered by dental insurance even if they don’t cover Orthodontics?
