I can confirm. First night after surgery, even with the swelling, pain, nausea, discomfort, throwing up blood; I was instantly able to breathe better and sleep without CPaP.
Jaw surgery?
What about PER (premolar extraction retraction) victims? This dangerous and barbaric procedure removes jaw bone and pushes the hard palate into the airways. Heard that jaw surgery is the best for them. And that they need a specific surgeon who treats such cases. How can I get jaw surgery covered? I am poor and it can take 6 years until I have the money (then it’s maybe too late). The corrupt healthcare system in Norway may won’t cover (I think).
I'm one of these folks
Thankyou ron, for all the work you've been doing, hope we all get better, and imagine, with spread of knowledge all humans would get proper craniofacial development.
Imagine, maybe I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, you being the pioneer in spreading awareness.
Oh wow... a couple years ago I was dealing with a lot of issues with acid reflux, I couldn't understand why, this explanation makes sense to me. I am a total mouth breather, allergies, congested nose type of person... I am truly shocked, I have never heard this before.
Seeing as the episode ends with mma pain/experience and instant breathing enhancement; both for my SARPE (2yrs ago, 10mm expansion) and maxillary advancment (1month ago & 4mm), despite the blood clogging and swelling I could tell a notable difference in airway in first 48hrs.
My surgeon perfoms pre and post op rhinomanometry tests to measure nasal air volume input/output my airway grew 100% after successful expansion. Cant wait to calculate post maxillary advancement and compare to original!
Any issues with TMJ after all of it?
@amolpatravali6913 after which surgery? Sarpe nothing and maxillary advancment, the soft tissue is still adjusting (1month post op) but so far so good!
I’m a fifteen year old female. I have a narrow/undeveloped maxilla but proportionate features, how can I get a more prominent mid face? I have a slightly recessed mandible. I am getting expansion and braces but what else can I do? If I get reverse pull headgear won’t it make my lower jaw look recessed. I also had a thumb sucking problem up until I was nine but I got treatment for that so I don’t really have an open bite just a little crowding. I also noticed recently that I subconsciously open my mouth a little to breath which I never really noticed. What treatments should I get? I am open to anything I can do at my age.
Treat your allergies first. Once thats done, it depends on how narrow your palate is if you are able to still fit your tongue in, thats good. If not, then you have to go through the MSE route and expand first. Then after all of that, practice mewing. I believe surgery is done only after 25. Not only are you very young but also you are female. I have scrolled through orthotropics page well enough to see alot of positive legitimate results among females than males which I believe perhaps due to females having softer bones.
John Mew himself even stated that as young as 17, you can correct by mewing only if you do it diligently. It was in response to a male 17 year old with class 3 maloclusion. Anyways goodluck, you are way too young for surgery. It shd be a last resort.
I also think the braces shd be done after 25. Bcs teeth can still be moved up to 65 years old
@@LivingParable693 I don’t think it’s allergies I think I just have narrow airways. But if I get expansion/forward growth, how will my lower jaw line up with my upper jaw if it’s already slightly reseeded? Also I think I have to get braces because I don’t want the expansion gap. I try to mew but can’t because I don’t have enough palate space for my tongue, but I do have good posture.
@@LivingParable693 Also can I get MARPE instead of MSE because my sutures haven’t fused yet?
How can i fix a flat maxilla?
Can it be permanent? I heard the face realy stops changing after 62 years so if i do it long enough with bone building supplements like calcium and vitamin k2 and high testosteron, i think it can be permanent or not?
I was a mouth breather because of allergies and found put mewing at age 25, a bit late sadly
I only do mewing but consider thumb pulling?
How can we get help from you jawhack
