This is the craziest e60 build I have ever seen, ever. This is seriously so cool it's not even funny.
Beautiful car... as an e60 owner makes me happy to see that people care for this cars, most e60s on the road are really uncared for. Loved the mods on this one, especially the manual conversion, I wish I could afford to retrofit everything to mine!
I own a 2007 550i manual M sport with 18 inch style 124 wheels. Pre LCI front bumper with Navi and winter package. It’s a 4.8 and I daily drive it. I have a stage 2 Dinan. I drive all highway. It is KING of the freeway. There is something special to naturally aspirated 4.8 manual. It has active steering. DTC, sport steering wheel, best seats ever. Manual driver’s therapy. I put a good bit into engine restoration. It is Amzing
‘04 E60 owner here. Regarding the book shown-yes the beige was called Sand Beige. I am in love with the soft close! Say what you want but the E60 was ahead of it’s time. Fantastic job!

I had an 08 335i coupe with factory active cruise, purchased the car at 170k miles perfectly running, drove it to 190k miles and it still worked!

Wow what a truly unique vehicle. That brochure is amazing. I love how the paint samples are made to represent how paint looks on metal body work. Also bilstien makes fantastic coilovers that balance ride quality and comfort. I really want my next bmw to be something unique and different like this.

Should code back in the Variable Light Distribution while you have it. It works a treat.
Adaptive Cruise Control was even installed on E39 (EU versions).

my ex FL e38 750 was with active cruise control.....
I daily drive my E39 M5 (93K miles) but this would be seemingly just as nice for that purpose.
Had a 545 and it was great. The motor was really stout. You don't see many of those anymore.
Sadly you don’t. Mostly because lots end broken and smoking blue plooms of smoke out of the exhaust.
A friend of mine had a 645i, great car. Very big comfy coupe. He ran into the same issue as above.
@@Divine_Serpent_Geh you can fix these issues and there stout after that. They sell upgraded Viton seals for the engine that last way longer and I don't recommend 15k oil service intervals because BMW changed them to 10k not to long ago, my opinion is 5-7.5k and also run a colder thermostat that opens at 90c instead of 105c
Not many people got them to begin with. Most people bought the 530i or the 528i lci. I see more 535 then 550 also

1:04 This is clean car, but you Sir are incorrect - there is Russian made BMW 545i e60 with EVERYTHING swapped from M5 (starting from OEM wheels, brakes, mirrors up to SMG 3 full retrofit system with gearbox knob etc), except for n62b44 engine. Actually it was 530i (m54b30), then he made full M5 re-style, and then swapped the V8:

So you want to retrofit paddle shifters? I have no idea if this is possible, since most E60 services I perform are manual transmission conversions.

The guys who rebuilt this engine are not a BMW shop, they specialize in American muscle cars. The silver M5 is ours and is not for sale.

I wish BMW's weren't piles. They drive great, but it's just too fucking much shit that breaks. Why is my aircooled 911 turbo more reliable then BMW's made decades later?
They without question have some serious reliability concerns, especially on the newer models. But somehow we're able to overlook most of these with how wonderfully they drive.
@@E39Source surely you can overlook it if you have plenty of money to spend on repairs. For the love of driving but driving becomes not so much fun when your bank account goes empty endlessly fixing
Just buy the M5 waist of money. It will never be an M5 car doesn’t make any sense.
