I'm about to do this as well, but I think it is the other belt that is squeaking as my SC belt has less than 20k miles on it. I suppose I should do the water trick to see what happens. Knowing my luck it will be a pulley going bad 😂
Also, the belt being bad made it squeak? I would think that would be caused by a bad pulley. Putting the new belt on appeared to fix the issue though right?
It squeaked but when you splash little water, it stopped squeaking and started again 30 sec later when water dried out. I sprayed the belt with belt conditioner and that was a mistake, made horrible squeaking and was not stopping (drove like 5 miles). Parked car for a week, started the engine and the squeaking was not as bad. Decided to replace the belt, issue resolved.
When I took off the belt, I started car - no squeak. Then I tested all the pulleys and they were turning smooth...so yeah, it looks like it was the belt.

Have about 20k on the APR belt that they provided with stage 2 and about 3.5 years old so am wondering if the belt stretched a little and that is causing the noise? I’m assuming your car is squeak free still? I just ordered a new belt hopefully that is my issue.
Thanks for sharing. Could you do a video of how the car is holding up the crank and charger pulleys upgrades? How long (in time and miles) do you have this set up? Did you do the dsg upgrade to?
Thanks. I was going to do this yesterday but talked myself out of it. I found info saying that it is easiest to do with a belt removal tool from harbor freight or a free rental from O'Reillys. Did you remove anything from the top side or have to remove the bumper? It doesn't look like you did. Maybe only removed the air filter housing piece that is connected to the front part of the car?

I was convinced it was pulley in my case but it was not. My belt had about 20k miles or less as well.

Yup, still good although I don't drive much now because of covid. Change the belt first.... $20 may get rid of your problem

I just removed bottom cover, 7 screws or so.
