This is of course wonderful news. Here in the States many would be dumbfounded to realize that Africa is attempting to progress while in the US we're doing all we can to oppress.
I think in all these countries, including the US it's a push and pull. Steps forward while sometimes even progress can go backwards. After I wrote and recorded this, I saw a negative headline about LGBT rights in Namibia, so none of these places are perfect, but change is coming 💜
Many places in Africa have a lot of ultra religious right wing nut jobs like the US. Things aren't really improving all that much in most of Africa. I went to Ghana earlier this year and they've essentially made it illegal to be gay.
Thank you my brother for teaching by giving us this history lesson regarding how European Colonization played a role in misleading US with false stereotypes that Africa is homophobic and in actuality Africa is not, but very accepting of black gay men. African brothers are SO FINE! WOW. THANK YOU FOR TEACHING AND SHARING!😅
Thank you for educating us and my potential holiday list has now been updated , please can you do a list on Caribbean countries that welcome gay people as visitors ? I have felt excluded by some of the more Homophobic incidents that have been recorded from this beautiful part of the world and thanks for your great work and a happy healthy and Peaceful new year to everybody .
notice how when nation except their gays they flourish , oppose to the places that dont , Hmm Seems God loves the gays and perhaps they are a test of his love
this video is so important. i wish people understood that not all african countries are anti-gay
So glad I found this channel. Watching from Canada

Rupaul will start auditioning for Drag Race South Africa in 2025. This will open the conversation on LGBTQIA+ rights.
I'm glad some places in Africa are making progress. I went to Ghana earlier this year and it's a very hostile place for gay people.

You Missed Namibia, also Angola I think
Check our African playlist, I did a similar video and highlighted them as one of the most progressive countries in Africa
I liked this video, I'm so glad progress is being made.
It's interesting to see when some of these countries got employment anti- discrimination laws in the U.S. we didn't get that until 2020.
I love the thumbtail 🙌😍🏳️🌈🌈 and I need to visit these places with my boyfriend. 👬👨❤️👨
Seychelles is gay tourist destination for sure 💛💙
