What should be the ideal conclusion of this case : No, same-sex marriages cannot be included in the Special Marriage Act, as it has provisions where the terms 'wife' and 'husband' have a lot of significance. However, a new law can be enacted which provides same-sex couples the rights they need and deserve, like rights relating to property, insurance, adoption, etc.

India's fertility rate dropped a lot. So ; shrink of population can be predicated in future time !! And it's not easy how you just wrote it in your comment !! You can't just say there won't be any impact on society if government legalises the marriage right of LGBQ. The promotion of this kind of events must also be limited as a surge in the number of LGBQ population has been found out among the new generation !! Abnormality should always consider as abnormality !! Freedom and liberty is fine to some extent but it shouldn't exceed after a limit or there won't be any distinct between wild animal and humans !!
the US is a first world nation and being a first world nation... majority of the population doesn't face basic human problem which third world countries do...and human nature has always shown as that humans need to fight against problems in order to exist...so the American went on to create problems which don't exist in nature. The villagers who runs homestay at that area dont support your ideology or rights because it affect their religion, their right of being faithful to nature, their society beliefs and they don't give these couple a homestay..... then the couple take action about the villagers for discrimination.....

Dear Brut India, I suggest you to go and check in Eastern part of the country. You will find a different view. We are more liberal!
If the creation of nature is great,,,then if anyone denies the LGBT things mentioned in Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, he has no right to live in India, because Ramayana Mahabharata Vedas are insulted directly.
It is very relevant to get views of these people as they form the very basic and majority of our society, the very same society where we want to introduce the new laws. These people are not wrong in their opinion as they may be unaware about the LGBTQ section, what is needed is widespread and deep root awareness about the practical proplems this section faces. Also for some, first the realisation of existence of this section is also very important!
The person who said it was not in our culture should go immediately and read history. It was mentioned in vedas that "whatever seems unnatural is also natural" and Shikhandi from Mahabharat is also a transgender plus Varun and Mitra and Bhagirath born from two mothers etc. are many stories about queer people in past. If Mahabharat and Ramayan were true then the incident in which lord Hanuman saw two women hugging each other and making love in Lanka would also be true. Even in the ancient temples it was depicted about same sex relationship especially in Khajuraho temple but people nowadays don't understand that it was Britishers who banned gay relationships in India and before that they were also part of our society.
1st ask them that do you know about Part 3 & 4 of Indian Constitution ?
People saying their religion doesn't allow it. i think they are forgetting that India is a secular country and it's political rights are not and should not be affected by any type of religion. Being homosexual is completely natural because it's not something that you can control, and you don't become gay. You are born gay. And people worried about their next generation are forgetting that not everyone is going to be gay as not everyone is straight and people who are gay families can adopt or have a surrogacy pregnancy because it's not something that is weird since it's completely normal for straight couples. And at last but not least, it's not something that is being copied by western countries since it's a country's duty to protect their citizens and give them basic rights and if there are gay people in the country why would they not have rights? I also read people saying "next what? Are they going to legalize theif just because they want to?" Obviously, here they are forgetting a crucial point, which is that by legalising queer marriages, they are not harming anybody, so I don't see any problem. It's not that it's going to affect their daily lives.
They're forgetting that India is not Iran. You can improve without bloodshed.
@@ninab.4540 hmmm, okay, Iran was progressive once, but what happened to them now?
While I understand the concerns expressed by these individuals against same sex marriage, I believe it surpasses our own personal opinions. Being a conservative Christian myself, as is my entire family, we hold the belief that homosexuality is a sin. However, it is important to recognise that this issue extends beyond our personal beliefs. In a democratic society, everyone is entitled to their fundamental rights, regardless of whether or not we agree with their sexual orientation. They too are human beings, and it is not necessary for them to adhere to 'God's rules' or natural laws as we perceive them.
Moreover, it is crucial to understand that their plea is simply for equal rights. They are not seeking special treatment or advantages. As a proponent of the No Harm Principle by JS Mill, I firmly assert that as long as their demands do not directly harm or infringe upon the rights of others, they should be granted equal rights. I wholeheartedly support same-sex marriage and advocate for love and kindness towards all individuals. Thank you.

The argument about equal right is completely false. Rights are always defined for an individual. It's not some food or job opportunity that it's same for every individual. Heterosexual marriage and related family dynamics is completely different from Homosexual marriage. How is this equal right if they are asking for something different?
@@SunilMeena-do7xn dear brother, while you are right about rights being centered around a particular individual, we must acknowledge that equal rights are founded on the principle that all individuals should be entitled to the same fundamental rights and legal protections, irrespective of their differences or characteristics. while rights are inherently individual-oriented, the core idea is that these rights should be applied universally and without bias.
so, in relation to marriage and family dynamics, equal rights means that every individual should have the right to marry and form a family, regardless of their sexual orientation. it recognizes the importance of granting same-sex couples the same legal recognition, benefits, and protections as heterosexual couples.
yeah, youre right about the differentiated core dynamics in contrast to a heterosexual relationship, but my guy, its about the fundamental right. i hope this clears something up brother, be well, take care!
well aaj ke time me bacha peda krne ke kai sare tarike h then there's adoption as well which is much better. As per pehle kyu nh tha is a stupid logic, is hisab se pehle auratien ghar se bahar nh nikalti th to ab kyu? pehle internet nh chalate the to ab kyu? pehle slaves hua krte the to ab kyu nh?
That girl is a UPSC aspirant. BET ME!
Brut do you know what's happening in Manipur???
Actually .. I am impressed there are voices supporting to legalize same sex marriages in small towns of India.. we have to focus on the glass half full.. the rest of them who aren’t agreeing will learn to accept soon.
It's the cult Hinduism which allows the demonic activity which is homosexuality thank god I left this demonic religion and accepted Christ as my Lord and saviour
They didn’t cover people from other regions or religion. Like just upper caste Haryana rural people
Achha, ab inhi logon ko intercaste pe poocho? 😂
I can never understand how they feel, i can only imagine but what i love about homosexual couples is that they HAVE to adopt kids, my orphans with homes, food, clothes, education, opportunities.....Our country will see less homeless kids 😊
Those who are thinking that homosexual relation and family are not in Ramayana for them I am citing an example from the epic-
"There was a king named Dilip in Ramayana time, who died earlier un a battle without any son(hier of his throne) ,so after his death his two queen was crying and worried for the successor of the throne.....at that moment Lord Shiva appeared to the queens and booned them with power and proposed them to make love with each other and fulfill their desire...hearing Shivas proposal these 2 queen of king Dilip started making love with each other and thus 1 of the queen got pregnant as their coz of love-making and a baby was born ,this baby was named Bhagirath by whose name later there was a famous river Bhagirathi....."
Conclusion: Our culture is very versatile....every unnatural thing is natural in hindu mythology.🙏🙏
Not opposing or anything but genuine question. Where will this stop, I mean whats the line?
1) Few years down the line what if there is a moment to support incest marriage? Yes there is love and consent in an incest so we will allow that also?
2) what if there is also a moment where i must be allowed to marry animals? I can prove my pet's love towards me so should we legalize that also?
3) And people that are saying that by legalizing same sex marriage everyone won't be LGBTQ, yes also by legalizing drugs everyone wont become a drug addict should we legalize it?
Heterogenicity is compulsory for having children but not for marriage. Being a responsible citizen take a step forward for adoption instead of making our population overflow with unnecessary genes. Having same sex relationship isn't a disease, it's a complete natural phenomenon that should be legalized.
Pehli bt to ye ki ancient history me same sex relationship ke bare me dia ga hai for example Mahabharata shikhandi is a transmen 2.jab hnumanji staji ki khoj me nikle tb unhone 2 mahilao ko kiss krte dekha 3.go and see khajuraho temple 4.kamsutra there are so many evidences ki same sex relationship is normal in our country in ancient times Britishers are the one who criminalized it pr hnhone to apne hah ab hta dia
To hum kyu niii❤rhi b bachho kito is kanun ke pass hone se homosexual thode hi ho jaenge homosexual hote h bnte nii h or rhu bat baccho ki to hetrosexual couples ne jo bache paida krke orphanage me chod die h unhe goad lelege same sex couple or apna khudka bcha chahie to ivf h 😅

Title of the video should be 'Voices from rural Haryana' instead of 'rural India'.
The thing is the opinions of some should not dictate rights of others.
We are a totally backward country. If it was left to the common man, we would not have inter caste marriages, women will be shunned to the kitchen, casteism everywhere, religious extremism will be as high as the Himalayas.
I just wanna say that by legalizing queer marriages not every boy will marry boy and so as girls.
Your point ?
Well young generations opinion matters the most as being a country of youth.
Ask Muslims kid they didn't allow this demonic activity only Hinduism the cult support this demonic activity
I appreciate that one man in the video who stood for our rights and understands us 🙏. TY.
what is the use of asking old village people 😂 they dont know what is constitutional right 😂😂
In the time of abolish satidaha and remarriage of widows also most of common man have not supportet that
It's not true.Satidaha was about women who are an equal representative in the world so your theory is illogical
Same sex marriage really helps in controlling STDs drastically
How means, if a person do a night stand and find him as partner through dating, but not married, another partner have it with someone,
If both would marry eachother, i hope most couples be loyal to eachother, so it has to be legalised.
Condoms also help in controlling STDs drastically, this opinion is pointless
@@stormplayzop223 Do u know what it is in south India? as a south Indian most gays don't wear condom, i even personally experienced this. M-M mostly don't use them... Did u know this point?

India :- a country with srilanka economy and america's wokeism .👏👏
lemme sound classist...but opinion of people who elect rapists and terrorists as representatives should never be considered. The majority barely understands who to give power to, to change the country. The country is run by a minority of highly educated people, who are exposed to the happenings around the world. Others just follow.
You are foolishly judgmental about masses. Indian masses are one the most intelligent voters and infact Rural India understands what they need and whom to vote better than anyone. Reason for criminalisation of politics is a complex issue and not just because people are dumb. Factually when it comes to voting, people from rural and semi urban places, see voting right as matter of duty and vote. But urban places across states have one of LOWEST voting turnouts. Their thought process is same as it is reflecting in your comment and at last don’t even bother to go and vote. Urban Intelligent apathy! Only people who have any right to support or critique govt and elected representatives are the one who enabled it. Our country is definitely not run by some minority Officers who are highly intelligent. That so funny and innocent!! It’s not how our Nation operates.
You are right but shockingly high number of the MLAs and MPs have criminal records including murder charges and rape charges. It reflects how as a society we are helpless or in fact show poor moral values to not care. I can’t even start on how deep rooted corruption is. It’s as though the country just doesn’t care. From 40% commission in Bangalore to disappearing crores of funds it shows society doesn’t care
@@cyk5172 Exactly how even the constitution was framed. Borrowing bits from other countries, reinterpreting, and accommodating those bits to suit the sorrow state of the country in the year 1949. The team had a vision. They had to understand what basic rights meant, what discrimination meant, how to bypass the hegemony of certain classes etc. It requires vision that most people lack.
Most people don't understand what democracy means for the people living in a democratic country, or what the accompanying term "republican" entails.
@@Blue-lq8xf the country cares, just not enough to put in the effort to understand why it happens, and how to pose a hindrance.
You are Bengali, you are classist by blood, so it’s okay I guess
being a muslim still understand what mahesh kumar had well spoken 🤝
"How will they expand the community?"
Me: You live in Sri Lanka, you know? Next to your ridiculously over-populated neighbor India with the same mentality.
It's pointless asking such direct questions to a set of people who aren't open to the idea of what reality is.. Queer represention has always been a part of our culture but we have always been side lined by the mainstream society. Has anyone asked a queer individual if they are okay with straight marriage? Exactly my point! These people will eventually learn to accept once we have our equal rights. It's scary to see if someone from their village is queer but can't dare to be open about themselves cuz of societal pressure. Sooner or later people have to accept the fact
Whats next marrying animals?
