I turned 10 tears old in 1979 and turned 20 in 1989. I was a true 80s teenager and I was at parties just like this. Sure a few coffee tables were ruined but it was all in good fun. I’d give anything to go back to those times. It was even more fun than it looks.
I can't believe it's been nearly 40 years since this video had it's world premiere on MTV. At the time I was 14 and a massive QR fan. My very first concert was QR with Helix and Whitesnake at McNichols Arena in Denver Colorado. The ticket price was $17.50.
VanHalen, Def Leppard, Ratt, Quiet Riot, and Journey ruled our highschool hallways during '83-'84. Journey and VanHalen were the old guard, highly respected. Ratt and Quiet Riot were the new blood sensation. Everybody wore a Def Leppard British flag shirt back then, was nuts. Years later its cool to see which bands panned out and had staying power. But overall it was a hell of a great time.
Markis5150 100% agree! I will never forget my high school days. Jamming Rush, VH, Triumph, Def Leppard etc.. back when wearing my Rush Moving Pictures concert shirt with the naked dude facing the red star never caused an issue. Our biggest worry was getting caught smoking a joint or cigarette behind the school. Nowadays these kids have to worry about taking a bullet. Sad...
Carlos is awesome Rudy Kevin and Frankie were too but you know who really started the band rite yup that’s rite randy was 16 when him and Kevin started it and two of the best all time hard rock came out of it
We had this blasting in our shop a few days ago just doin burnouts on a little pit bike, our neighbors called the police....didn’t help it was 4 am on a Wednesday night
When this music video was playing on MTV, they had a special contest; I think it was Quiet Riot Christmas. Some guy won: the prize was Quiet Riot came to his house with a truckload of electronics, and performed for him and his friends.
there is a time in the history of a nation when they are in a perfect place, not to much technology, great people and incredible music that gave everyone a sense that it was a great time to be alive,.......this was the 1980's..........................................
I was in the 6th grade when I first heard quiet riot that’s when I got my first taste of heavy metal and been rockin it since then this was back in 1984 I was 12 goin on 13...loved it
Out of all the "hair metal" bands, I hear Quiet Riot being talked about the least, especially these days. What a legendary band, Condition Critical will always please my SandWing ears. 🤘🐲🔥💯 😎
I don't remember ever seeing this video on MTV back in the day. Saw the 2 from the first album but never this. Still trying to find the one with Carlos playing a silver/blue metal flake Jackson guitar.
Man... I grew up in the 80's... there were a few songs that I liked from quiet riot, but this song SUX... this is the first time I hear it... they were lucky to make an album with that song... poo woo...
I had this same exact thing happen to me in 1986 when I was 18. Told a couple of friends to come over and at least 15 people whom I didn’t know showed up. A motorcycle was ridden through the house and I ended up calling the police on myself. It was extremely out of control.
i miss quiet riot man .....those days are very sadly missed...time moves on ...you get old ..eveything you liked is gone in the past....damn im miserable.
I saw QR at a bike night in my town a few years ago, sure Frankie Banali is the only original member in the band but it was still kick ass and he autographed my Metal Health record too
Quit riot was one of the first of there 80s hair metal to get signed I believe. That album was good after that kind of got lost in the shuffle as they were getting signed recorded on tour before u can say cocaine

Before Beasties fought for their right, Quiet Riot did it all night. 🥳🥳🥳
Can I use that
Nice, i like that
Well said.
Tbh this song amd band add WAAAAY better imo. Also, vety well-said comment. 🤷 👌 🤘🐲

RIP Frankie. Seeing your smiling face at 4:28 helped ease the pain of your passing. You will be missed.
holy ____!!! I didn't even know he had passed!!! I remember Kevin Debrow had passed a few years ago, WOW,, getting old sucks!!
@@JAmidon701 Yeah.. he had serious disease.. He fought hard till the end tho.. he was Bonham of 80's
Frankie Banalli was frickin amazing!!! He is my second favorite drummer ever, in a close second to Mr. Peter Criss!!!!

I can not emphasis enough, how cool it was being a teenager in the 80s.
Todays kids would never survive with push button wired phones.
Carlos has never gotten the credit for actually how good he is

Kevin was Funny , Crazy , goofy and a huge talent on record and live , the boys put on one hell of a live show .
Remember watching this video on MTV the good ol days 🎸....RIP Kevin Dubrow
Carlos Cavazo is one of the most underrated guitarist in my opinion
VanHalen, Def Leppard, Ratt, Quiet Riot, and Journey ruled our highschool hallways during

Yep! I was 8 but I still remembered it well
Class of 83 checking in!!
Carlos is a killer guitar player! 🤟👍 He did an amazing job in Ratt. He and Warren
had some great chemistry. 👍🤟
Carlos is awesome Rudy Kevin and Frankie were too but you know who really started the band rite yup that’s rite randy was 16 when him and Kevin started it and two of the best all time hard rock came out of it
You said it. Very evolved style. Sounds brilliant even now. Very unique Cat with his own unique tone and a shit load of gusto.
Carlos, Warren & Robbin Seriously Underrated/Overlooked!...RIP, Robbin Crosby
We never knew that we peaked in the 80s. It was never as good since.
Well said. I'd give everything to go back to 1986. Music sucks sh@# today.
I usually don't listen to quiet riot, but when I do, it's not very quiet. Just kidding I listen to it everyday
ahhahahahahaah
Oh, i took you for an ozzy fan lol
We had this blasting in our shop a few days ago just doin burnouts on a little pit bike, our neighbors called the police....didn’t help it was 4 am on a Wednesday night
Lovin It Randy Rhoads The King Of The Mountain our own Rock God From L.A.
Stay Riot My Friend😎👍.
Springtown texas was too country for this music back then. But there was a few that rocked.
Kevin’s hair got a lot fuller and longer as he got older. It’s amazing! He must have truly found the cure for baldness.
Meth does wonders for baldness
Of course it's his hair.
He has the receipt.
Yeah it's called hair plugs
He joined Hair Club for Coke Heads.
Wig
Being a teenager in the 80s is the epitomy of the term Ignorance is Bliss
I have a feeling this inspired the Fight For Your Right To Party video
Haven’t seen this in forever. Made me smile 😊
Amazingly Kevin's hair got longer, thicker and wavier as he got older.
I love how Carlos gets annoyed that they are watching him on TV instead of watching him two feet away. LMAO.
This song is a lot better with the video.
Let's not forget Frankie banalli rest in peace bro we will miss you
Rest in peace Frankie you'll always be my favorite drummer now rock up there in heaven with Kevin 🤘👨🏾🎤🥁

My first fave band.quiet riot rocked.kevin dubrow cannot be replaced he had such a raw distinctive vocal sound.r.i.p Kevin you are sadly missed.
Kevin had one of best voices of his generation.
He had an awesome voice. So raw and rockin'. It reminds me so much of Ronnie James Dio
there is a time in the history of a nation when they are in a perfect place, not to much technology, great people and incredible music that gave everyone a sense that it was a great time to be alive,.......this was the 1980's..........................................

*Condition Critical* is a masterpiece album.
Great song
Loved the 80s
Then after this song the lead singer lost all his 💰 on drugs and managers and moved back home with momma. Momma we're all crazy now

This is probably the greatest Heavy Metal Pizza Party of all times.
