You're right. I distinctly remember when this out of the blue band came on the radio with this song. The whole 80s metal scene came on like an avalanche. They got pushed aside unfortunately but this was the catalyst for sure.

Kevin Dubrow had the most infectious smile. I met him and the rest of Quiet Riot at a record signing 37 years ago in Northwest Indiana, just outside of Chicago. That was WAAAAAAY back when I was just 19 years old. They had already been on the road for several months, and this was probably the 100th one of these record signing things they had attended, but every one of them acted like there was nowhere else on earth they'd rather be. I wanted so badly to purchase an album for them to sign, but I didn't have the money, so when I got up to the table where they were all seated, I figured I'd just meet them, shake their hands and that would be that. It would still have been the highlight of my month. Carlos asked if I wanted them to sign anything, and I said I didn't have the money to purchase a record, as I had spent my money on the concert ticket. He grabbed a Quiet Riot LP, signed it and handed it down the line for the rest of the band to sign. When Kevin signed it, he handed it to me, smiled and said, "Merry Christmas." I remember it being like a week after the 4th of July. I've never forgotten Kevin's smile, Frankie's hair, and how generous they were to some nobody Midwestern kid in raggedy jeans who was just happy to be meeting some rock stars.

I saw The Guess Who a couple years back and they had the legend Rudy Sarzo on bass, he is still strutting around the stage like he is here, just so good.

When you are down, then there is time for depressive music and rumination before: heavy metal music -> this song is a classic & very suitable for such situations. And if you are down because of a mental health person, this song is particularly enjoyable! #heavymetalresilience

I'm a big fan of so-called "classic rock" and a lot of mellow stuff from the 60s and 70s. That said, I really appreciate this album. I'm not much of a fan of anything else they did, but this album rocked. And it got things going for what eventually led to a lot of garbage. But doesn't that always happen with any trend. RIP Kevin Dubrow. Your voice was the BEST for this genre.

Grumpy Grilled Cheese not necessarily true. I'm a huge 80's rock fan and I refuse to listen to pop and I've seen lots of greats such as Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi and GNR

Saw you all play in the dells. Been listening to you guys since high school. The memory of seeing you all play with my father will always be a memory that I cherish. We definitely partied all night :)

I saw a Quiet Riot here in Hartford Connecticut at the Webster Theater man probably 10 to 15 years ago with Kevin Dubrow and the whole original lineup and it was an awesome awesome show. Carlos cavazo was shredding the guitar Frankie was killing the drums and Rudy sarzo was just laying down the f****** beat it was a show one of the best shows I had ever seen the arena show or Club show they were on point they were razor sharp and I guess this happened some years before Kevin Dubrow passed away don't remember the exact year he died but it was a great great concert in a testament to the 80s heavy metal

Kevin took on an explosiveness with his voice on this record as Randy did on guitar with Ozzy. Kevin's voice is unique and powerful! Much better than the early QR of the 70s.
