For me (imma a male) I talk to multiple women, not because I want attention from them, but because they are genuinely my friends. People, this is sad. Texting is not real communication. If a person won't meet you IRL from the initial meet be it online or IRL, move on. Avoid texting in general. Real life, phone calls, even e-mail is more authentic.If all he does is text then he isn't interested, he just needs instant gratification, acknowledgement and"likes". Unfortunately, it's easy for guys to fire off those sexual texts, because he doesn't have to actually sit in front of you to catch your reaction and suffer any negative consequences if you didn't like it; he can just move on to the next girl. For me when I ghost girls (I'm a male) it's because they never start conversations with me. I always start them, and then after that it takes them at least 20 minutes to text me back. Hell, some of them take hours to text me back only to tell me that they can't talk right now.

Usually it's a mix between a 20 min wait, also they never start the conversations with me and they barley talk over text with me. At some point one of you most likely the guy will get bored because texting can only do so much. you're probably telling him way too much info about yourself which doesn't leave any mystery or much to talk about on a date. He has no incentive to call you. When it comes to texting less is best. You want him to progress to voice messages, phone calls, video chat, and then a date
I'd say *you* need to be the one to interrupt the on-going pattern of the "never-ending text" to slow its roll. Letting it continue on this way gives it a serious opportunity to fizzle out and crash-n-burn fast, so I'd suggest not being readily available to respond to him(keep up with all other areas of your life) and maybe suggest you guys do a virtual date to "level up" the conversation. You always want to get to that next level of commitment from him; otherwise things go idle and stale. If you're not getting the next level and stuck in one gear too long, on to the next guy 😉
Break up the flow and just don't be super predictable with your response times. Have other things going on (and let him know you're a busy girl) and genuinely *be* busy so he doesn't become too much of a focus for you too soon 👍🏼

It is easy to detain his interest in the beginning, and honestly I’ve seen all these things happening in our communications but at some point something went wrong, and relationship is crashing. And I am someone who wants and willing to work on it, because I know I am not perfect and want to fix things (first of all about myself, why, because till now I did not have examples of healthy long lasting relationships, which means I am the one having problems). Why do guys text "So, what's new?" when he has barely engaged or asked questions about you? I always comes across to me as "Hey, I am bored, entertain me".
The best way to do this is making a guy feel *great* and saying "thank you!" the first time he compliments you on something (even if you don't necessarily agree with the particular thing he's chosen to highlight). Doing that will encourage him to say more nice things because he now realizes it makes you feel good 😉

However, he acted very slowly in terms of setting dates (when he did arrange date, he planned them well, those were the best I had). I was confused but later on it was clear that he was not ready to have something serious yet. So in short what I learned, whether someone likes you, whether you two are compatible, and whether you two can be together are three different things...No need to get over excited when he shows interests at beginning, or you find someone extremely intriguing, everything takes time...Keep calm and carry on...

My favorite was after I got out of doing a speech for a non-profit group he checked in with me to see how it went (he knew I was really nervous). I know how you said that NOT “putting all your eggs in one basket” and not being available to a guy 24/7 raises your value, how it’s okay to talk to other guys as well while this guy is initiating talking. For me (imma a male) I talk to multiple women, not because I want attention from them, but because they are genuinely my friends. For me (dunno bout other guys) if a girl got mad at me because I was talking to other girls (who are my friends and who I am not interested in) it would make me frustrated. Also for me (again don't know about other men) I doesn't mean I don't want to commit it means I just want more people as my friends (I don't have very many friends as of now so I'm always trying to make new ones).

People, this is sad. Texting is not real communication. If a person won't meet you IRL from the initial meet be it online or IRL, move on. Avoid texting in general. Real life, phone calls, even e-mail is more authentic.If all he does is text then he isn't interested, he just needs instant gratification, acknowledgement and"likes". Women with self-esteem don't participate in text dependency.
I've definitely found that people can be SOO different from their texts! I wish I got the check in text sigh, but alas it's usually in a sexual context
Unfortunately, it's easy for guys to fire off those sexual texts, because he doesn't have to actually sit in front of you to catch your reaction and suffer any negative consequences if you didn't like it; he can just move on to the next girl. For me when I ghost girls (I'm a male) it's because they never start conversations with me. I always start them, and then after that it takes them at least 20 minutes to text me back. Hell, some of them take hours to text me back only to tell me that they can't talk right now.

Haha, Well, I just know that my online crush and I we have been texting daily for 6 months. We actually met once in person after 4 months and still chat and sometimes speak everyday (couldn't meet up again because of the lockdown😭) what an accomplishments! 95% of the time he sends me good morning and good night text with hugs emoji and sometimes with a 😘. What are your views on text conversations that continues until the next day(many days)? When both parties don’t end the conversations each day but someone answers the next morning and continuing this for multiple days?

At some point one of you most likely the guy will get bored because texting can only do so much. you're probably telling him way too much info about yourself which doesn't leave any mystery or much to talk about on a date. He has no incentive to call you. When it comes to texting less is best. You want him to progress to voice messages, phone calls, video chat, and then a date
I'd say *you* need to be the one to interrupt the on-going pattern of the "never-ending text" to slow its roll. Letting it continue on this way gives it a serious opportunity to fizzle out and crash-n-burn fast, so I'd suggest not being readily available to respond to him(keep up with all other areas of your life) and maybe suggest you guys do a virtual date to "level up" the conversation. You always want to get to that next level of commitment from him; otherwise things go idle and stale. If you're not getting the next level and stuck in one gear too long, on to the next guy 😉
Break up the flow and just don't be super predictable with your response times. Have other things going on (and let him know you're a busy girl) and genuinely *be* busy so he doesn't become too much of a focus for you too soon 👍🏼

And I am someone who wants and willing to work on it, because I know I am not perfect and want to fix things (first of all about myself, why, because till now I did not have examples of healthy long lasting relationships, which means I am the one having problems). Honestly would be lot more interesting to see topics about FIXING relationships that go wrong, it’s lot more complicated but also lot more appreciated ☺️

Recently a guy told me I was a bit intimidating and the first time he met me I walked up to him and his friends 'and that took balls' -- and "I knew I had to kiss you that night" -- this was a year and a half after that night we recently reconnected and it was our second date when he said that. The best way to do this is making a guy feel *great* and saying "thank you!" the first time he compliments you on something (even if you don't necessarily agree with the particular thing he's chosen to highlight). Doing that will encourage him to say more nice things because he now realizes it makes you feel good 😉
