Just got mine and need to assemble. There are 7 short screws. Are those for the terminal panel?
They need some single 12 flat pack
And single 18 flat packs. These are more affordable atleast for me versus the Gately enclosures already built on the site.

Sound quality wise how much better is your production boxes with the keefed port than these flat packs? Having a hard time deciding a sundown u15 is what will be going in
Bajaheat they should be very similar sounding. The production enclosures a more beautiful. :)

@@nickg.1045 I've been there and talked to them. Mostly to big guy named kyle. Nice guy. They do sell the boxes there. The one I'm looking at is the 2 12" subs up port back 4.75 box. He quoted it at $535 i believe. $500+ i remember.

Shawn McGrath 14.25” in diameter but very easy make larger if needed. This enclosure is extremely versatile and can be used with many different 15” subwoofers

Noticed alot of people use dc audio for these production boxes, would sundown audio subs do just as well? As long as subs specs meet with your box specs?

Out of curiosity, wouldn’t the front bracing screw location interfere with the subwoofer mounting? ,
I see what you was talking about. If it did line up with the sub screws, I'd just take the center brace screws out and put the sub screws in. Not a big deal

No we have tested found that 45s do absolutely nothing at all. :)

Niko Mango completely unnecessary. We have tested this enclosure with 90lbs subwoofers on 5000 Watts amp
Dam no way ima use a upgraded supercharged dd 9915 esp in this box and im good its about 90 pounds also
But i would half to cut hole bigger huh cus these aint normal 15 sizes

Gately Audio what ya waiting on?? Lol, sry it was for the 2 12 flat pack, but I just visited the site and the rims are listed now. Unfortunately the 2 12 is too wide for my trunk. Thanks Gately Audio!

Gately Audio 29.5 x 17.5 x 15.5 ... trunk tapers toward the back + I’ve got a false floor already showing a Zapco AP amp which limits my depth dim.
With these dims most mid 30s tuned slot ports eats up too much internal volume. I have 2 JL W7 10s sealed but building an aero port box currently for them. After designing, cut sheet, BB birch, other materials, & time is what makes me interested in the flat packs.
I ask about the flat la lbs cuz I’m getting the itch for new subs. Looking at DD Audio 3000/3500, Sundown X, Hutchinson ETA10. Some say those are a down grade sound quality wise to the W7 since that’s more important to me than chasing a DB # ( I like it loud too, but need my ears lol )
When I say sound quality I mean accurate reproduction of the source audio, not SQ competitions.

WHY DONT YOU ADVERTISE THE SPECS FOR JL AUDIO 12W7 and 13W7? HOW THICK IS THE MOUNTING SIDE AND WHAT IS THE INTERNAL VOLUME? YOU EXPECT US TO PAY THOSE OVERINFLATED PRICES BUT SPECS ARE NOT PROVIDED, COME ON.
