      Yeah they nice,, I been bumping the 8s in my bmw sense the vehicle I was going to put them in broke down, very solid with great output and the cuts are on point

      bro, your trying... I can tell.. Your knowledge level just isn't there.. So with respect, allow me to correct you. You should never do separate boxes. That is ridiculous and would cancel each other out to the point that each enclosure would work against each other.
      Amateur hour. BTW, its spelt "Son", not "Sone"

      @@AwestruckAudioHertz not necessarily depends how it’s done, there’s a guy in my area with same subs that dj got in 2 boxes still hitting 150db and still sounds good, he actually took home a win in his class, but I do agree that 2 boxes isn’t necessarily ideal and could cause some slight cancelation, I personally wouldn’t do it however if it’s what a guy needs to do to get by for awhile then it’s defiantly better then nothing

    • @AwestruckAudioHertz

      @@famousmoon it happens for sure. Never said it didn't. But the vast majority of the time you will gain by using the same enclosure. Different enclosures MORE OFTEN THAN NOT will cause a decrease in output or "cancel each other out".
      That being said, can two separate boxes in the same vehicle produce a 150? Absolutely. Never denied it.

    What did they have to say about the baffle? Mine comes today I suspect I’ll have the same issue.

      I didn’t even wait for a response lol they did call me bk tho and suggested that I send it back while they make a correct baffle for it, however I just sanded it tell they fit and called it good

    for my audio pipe bdc415 becouse i never gave them subs a fair chance becous of the shit boxes they wher in

    • @AwestruckAudioHertz
      @AwestruckAudioHertz 2 роки тому

      ah yes, now it all comes together as to the type of car audio person you are lol. The audio pipe sub puts things in perspective. You keep going to build houses, over pay for enclosures, wait too long, and play subs from a shit company.
      The rest of us will enjoy building our own, designing our own, and finishing a build in a single day. Probably half a day, then enjoy bumping.

      @@AwestruckAudioHertz and by the way THEAS ARE GP FLAT PACKS I HAVE TO PUT IT TOGETHER THEY JUST CNC CUT THE WOOD all I use is screws and glue and about 2days of my time!!!!

  • @AwestruckAudioHertz
    @AwestruckAudioHertz 2 роки тому

    8 weeks? I would of just built my own. I would find a friend that had a circular saw (which the vast majority of my friends do, especially the male friends) find a scrap wood out of free piles then use the free pile wodld to make my own track saw. At at that point I would cut all my pieces then ask my friends to borrow a router and make my own circle jig which is also stupid easy to make out of scrap wood. Not sure I can condone a 4+ week wait plus the price. If your into car audio this deep at this point, it would behoove you to just learn how to build. This is why enclosure businesses have problems staying in business long term (most, not all). The customer base realizes they can just cancel them out completely.

    • @famousmoon
      @famousmoon  2 роки тому

      Give or take about 8 weeks I’m a little bad on timing lol, your idea is not not bad either however you may spend just as much time searching for someone who has scrap material there willing to give away as you would waiting for a gp box you also don’t have to figure measurements for tuning and vehicle placement and the cuts are perfect, also the prices aren’t that bad this was actually fairly cheap, I’m also not a fan of plywood which is what a lot of ppl are trying to use now says it’s ridiculous if you ask me,

    • @AwestruckAudioHertz
      @AwestruckAudioHertz 2 роки тому

      @@famousmoon not a fan of plywood myself, but honestly doesn't sound any different. I know how to design enclosures. Its really easy. Especially considering 95% of drivers come with t/s parameters and recommended enclosure sizes/tuning. So many free apps these days to help.
      As for scrap piles.. not an issue here.. I live in Washington State. Even though we are in the time of the year where the sun disappears for almost 4 months straight and rain happens every day I am still hitting up free piles every single day. And I must say.. free wood piles in Washington state (where they do a lot of logging naturally) is better than most paid wood in other states.
      I pick up free scrap piles regularly. My opinion, this is completely unviable. But depends on your skill/knowledge level.

      @@AwestruckAudioHertz this is a great option for ppl who have never built a box before to learn how one is pieced together, or for those who can’t master good cuts, beleave it or not some ppl just can’t do it on there own, it doesn’t matter how deep you are in the audio game it comes down to preference or skill level when getting an enclosure, I’ve seen ppl who swear up and down they are beast at making enclosures but when it come down to it they end up being messy, I personally have never made my own box can I do it sure will it be the best probably not on my first try I also do not have the space to store or set up all the tools to do it, sure I could go to a buddy’s shop but that’s not always convenient, however it’s pretty cool that you have those options, what apps do you use to design a box?
