i love seeing the n-strike barrel lug meme continue. it must never end.
Glad you like the blaster! A few notes:
- The SCAR is shaped that funny way so it can launch MegaXL off the end.
- Glad you liked the N-Strike lug! I threw that on there just for fun :)
- The thumbhole portion of the stock is easily removable, with two bolts.
- The barrel can be easily swapped in less than 15 seconds, with no tools.
- The spring can be swapped quickly as well, with something to poke out one pin at the back of the blaster.
- There are wider, and longer, butt plates available. Up to 4x longer than default, and a wider butt plate for easier priming with heavy springs.
- There is an option for a slim front end, which is easier to hold in the way you describe near the end of the video.
- A few people have made variants of parts to make the bolt fully contained, so no wobble and it has a rotation-stop. I didn't make a part for it myself because I simply personally like it more free-style.
- As with most of my blasters, 3d printing has its quirks, and it's strengths. If you want to customize a blaster yourself, modify it to be exactly what you want, and change the color to whatever, 3d printing wins out. However, 3d printing has yet to fully beat injection molding for equal strength and lightweightness. If you want a blaster that you can mash into pavement and still use afterward, I can fully recommend the Kirin over the Cynthia. However, if you want to customize, and build your own blaster, Cynthia is the way to go IMO. If you want something off the shelf, good to go and use, Kirin both are still good.
- I never considered finger clearance for holding off the trigger before firing. The orange circular part on the front of the bolt would be extremely easy to modify to make the bolt handle stick out more to the side, rather than down. I angled it downward to prevent catching on clothing or tactical gear.
- There are three ways to hit the mag release: 1, paddle it with the off hand's thumb. 2, push down with the trigger finger within the trigger guard (your particular print has a version which is harder to do that with. The default has the mag release take up some of the space of the trigger guard, so its easier to hit). 3, you should be able to reach with the middle finger of your firing grip.
- I made the blaster super thin to save weight and help with a "slick" handling experience. A friend of mine has modeled and released a modified front end that replicates a Remington 700 front area, which is wider and more rounded for holding.
Overall, I'm glad you enjoy the blaster! Hopefully some of these notes will help with making it even better for you to use :)
I'm also working on a MEGA firing, straight pull bolt action with a geared prime similar to the Nerf Centurion, which I recommend you keep an eye out for in the coming months!

A pretty common mod/tactical feature for bolt actions is to have a handle that sticks out 45 degrees from the weapon when in the locked position. A quick modification of the STL isn't a terrible fix on the user side.
im curious can the rifled barrel attackment be bought seperately to use on other blasterd for accuracy?

Rare footage of coop finding a blaster with an n-strike barrel lug.
I put a BCAR (like a SCAR, but uses metal wheel bearings instead of strings) on my Harrier. It's pretty crazy how much it improves the accuracy. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to shoot more precisely.
BCARs also tend to have less of an impact on FPS than SCARs
Fun fact: Sillybutts' SCAR looks that silly because it can be used to fire Mega XL. Just don't load in a mag...

It was moreso because this blaster is mechanically based on a previous design named “Indra” by CaptainSlug. I felt it would be good to continue the female name thing, and bolt actions are classy. Cynthia was the result.

About the "left handed" bit, Captain Xavier's was customized before it was sent to him by mirroring two parts allowing it to be "fully" left hand operable.
Edit: Just an added courtesy by Outofdarts who sent him the blaster. Not sure if an actual option.

the blocky look reminds me a bit of the wa2000. i wonder why there aren't more bullpup nerf blasters now that powerful springs actually benefit from long barrels with with the scar attachment.

Huh, it's similar to Capt. Slug's Indra; I have one that I assembled myself (with a K25 spring by the way). The stock, the plunger tube system, and the fact that its bolt action is almost identical. Although, the bolt does have a lock and cannot be spun like the Cynthia's.

I'm never getting a 3D printed gun again. Only one I had was the caliburn and it broke so I gave it to my brother in law. The plunger tube broke after a bit.
And now we wait for nerf to add a rifling system onto one of their blasters and charge an extra $30+ for it

Rifling works is dependant on how hard your shooting. Stock nerf blasters just don't shoot hard enough for it to do anything

Get a cheap flip flop in your choice of color and cut it a smidge larger than the stock butt plate and use some glue on it. May be like putting a punisher skull on a ferrari but it could help with the pressure.

What blaster would you recommend me, for using in home, with medium/large darts capacity,using it at as primary, but not very expensive?

There is nothing stopping it from working. All my half dart converted nerf blasters (longshot, Retailator, delta trooper) take N strike barrel lugs
