I joined a casual team the other day and was completing my dailies. This level 300 kept starting a Raid over and over. So I put on my sad, old, crappy PA, got rid of my bloodied build rads, and took my basic gat plas and joined him in the raid. I figured he was cheesing the robot. He was. I ran raids with him over and over for about an hour. I got a ton of stuff! Almost an entire set of Vulcan PA with a beautiful perfect four star chest piece. Choos-Chos looks fun! Love it when I meet random people in the wasteland and they change my life forever.
Yeah, I like the Vulcan PA but it REEEEEALY sucks for carry weight. I just can't stand it being overencumbered after EVERY STAGE of the raid. I have a sweet set of OE Vulcan 4 star with ammo weight reduction too. I went back to Union.
If you play the raids long enough you will get mod plans for the Vulcan armor. I got all the mods for the power armor and I used calibrated shocks on both legs and get a 100+ carry weight so I can carry 360 lbs. 420 lbs consuming a smoked mirlurk filled
@@oppideez2158 Oh, sweet. I didn't even know calibrated shocks existed for the Vulcan Power Armor. That would make a huge difference. I'll have to double check to see if I got it without realizing it.

Aegis isn't useful for the dmg resist. The bonus to poison/fire/cryo resist is the best part. 100 resists there means not spending legendary cards on things like funky duds & sizzling style. The serpent does like 90% poison damage (made up, but it's a high number).

Aegis relevance hinges on the elemental resistances provided, and currently, there isn't a need for high fire, or cryo resistance + there's a ton of options for poison resistance, so at the moment, it is mediocre. However, the fact Aegis provides a rainbow of defensive values, means it's a generalist mod that will have relevance in all content going forward; should we ever encounter a raid boss that deals excessive fire, or cryo damage, then I could see it being useful. The strength of Aegis, is similar to Overeaters, in that running a Specialized set (Ex: Troubleshooters for EN06, or something loaded with Poisonous 2* for UT) will always provide superior defensive values, sure, but running a Generalist set will save you from having to haul around a ton of different PA chassis for specific situations; I could rock an OE/End/*/Aegis PA set, and likely never have to worry about any future resistance checks, or swapping armors. I feel as though, there are a ton of variables to take into consideration, including Legendary cards (Sizzling Style, Funky Duds), PA sets (Union), 2* mods (Poisonous, Warming, Fireproof), and the Opportunity Cost, of what is freed up by using Aegis - you lose your 4* slot, yes, but it gives you flexibility in a ton of other areas; all of this isn't even mentioning, it applies to OTHER players as well. Personally, I ended up throwing together a set of Rejuvenator's before the hype as my first set of 4* PA during the first week, and then I ended up learning Reflective when doing my 76 raids for the title, but I would LOVE to have a set of Aegis, too.
Been hitting the raid at least a couple of times a day and a lot this weekend and I've been hanging on to all my 4 star armor mods until they've been evaluated. Watched this and excitedly logged in to see just how many Rejuventor boxes I have. Zero. BUt of course I have a crap ton of Aegis and Runners. Now I'm depressed and even less enthused to go to work, so thanks for that. But seriously, there are a couple of YTers that I'd rank S tier for hard data nerdy breakdowns but they're dry AF. You're hands down the lone S-tier follow for entertaining, LOL-funny AND useful FO content, so much thanks for that.
Battle-Loaders is amazing, but niche. As someone who has a Pirate (black powder) character, Battle-Loaders is an absolute beast of a modset. Wish it was 100% as it's hard enough to bash in the middle of raids, but when I get consistent bash reloads down, I am doing so much damage I am keeping up and sometimes even outpacing the heavy gunners. Limit-Breaking is an absolute S-tier mod but only for Full Health builds, which I happen to be. Not having crits tied to your luck frees up other stats that are more useful on both armor and in perks...and the best part is that you don't need a full set, which leaves you open for other 4 star mods to supplement your build. Maybe Rejuv or Sawbones. Miasma's is trash compared to Reflect, even if Miasma does more damage to trash mobs...they have to be in melee range for it to work. Reflect works at ALL ranges, so infinitely more useful and in more situations. There is almost no situation where you would want this over Reflect...it's damage is also split between radiation, which is the worst damage type in the game as 90% of everything is immune to it, so you lose half the effectiveness of it anyway.
Putting Limit Breaking in B/C tier is wild to me. If you're full health it's the best ranged DPS boost out of all of them and eliminates needing to take Luck buffs for crits. Easily S tier mod.
Nah, all you need is 1 nuka cola dark. I use rejuvenators+conductors and it only takes a single nuka dark and 1 overdrive (raid gives tons of overdrive) to solo any of the bosses and the epsilon squad (albeit duo the squad because of generators). I can stay withing vats almost the entire core. Outside of raids? Everything dies so fast it doesn't matter. Limit breaking in a vacuum is great, but gameplay wise? It's just a way to be lazy. Nuka dark isn't even hard to farm. Also, rejuvinators is so strong that a luck+Rejuvenator's will outperform a agility/end+ limit breaking anyways.
I can see his reason behind this, you burn other very good options as a 4th star if you only use this. Certainly you solve the crit limit but this is only if you are heavy PA crit build. In case you want to tank , rejuvanator with reflective or aegis as a combination can make you unkillable, so it comes down to how each of us wants to play.
I agree. You would need limit breaking on a full health build to hit the crit cap. Also, bruisers is additive with your strength damage multiplier. If you have 50 strength, 5 bruisers is only a 10% boost lol. Also, Miasma's!!!?
@@wormwoodmain6677 I only run 2 Limit Breaking with 2 Luck pieces + 3 Rejuvinators + 3 Powered. You don't have to run a full set of Limit Breaking to get max crit shots. I'm still pretty much unkillable while getting every other shot crit so I don't see what the downside to that is? And if I need more AP regen for bosses I can just spam coffee.
Aegis is absolutely S tier. Stacking elemental resists means there is no need to use legendary cards for this or even 2* resists. Not to mention it’s a team buff, absolutely S tier
In my opinion it's fair, I mean wasn't unyielding like the best option for the past 4-5 years? I think it's good that PA is in the spotlight right now.
@@routrucks6329 Not really. This new Raid system feels like it forces you to play the way Bethesda wants which is inherently bad design. Sure Unyielding was strong, but you never felt forced to play with it.
@Bausaw I think that you are not forced to use PA for thr raids, sure it helps a lot but you can to a certain degree run bloodied/ full health without PA in the raid, you are gonna be more frail , but you compensate that with your high dps, in the end you want to kill all the bosses as fast as possible, now in the case of full health without PA well you got health I guess.
More like "Play a ranged class or get punished" At least if you're a melee tank like me and you use an auto axe none of the mole rats are getting through on Phase 2.
11:48 Wiggle-plays just did a video showing how stacking up damage/energy resist really positively affects reflective damage. It's possible that tanky's might be better for reflective damage than the actual reflective four star effect.

The thing i like about aegis is the team wide poison resist. I havent tested it but it seems like you could save everyone from using funky duds and everyone gets another legendary perk card for free basically. Especially if you have union and the endurance perk for poison resist. 5 extra perk points seems like a great deal.
I have only done a handful of raids, but I can't resist a good chart, especially if it ranks things! I really appreciate the charting, ranking, and ranting! Maybe one day I will stop building and put it all this new knowledge to use.
Battle loaders i think is meant for screwing around with black powder weapons. Though according to wiggle, it doesn't work on weapons that only hold 1 round. Though it does work on quad black powders. Quad faster fire rate could be kinda goofy. Boom boom boom boom 💥

True, it works on quad black powder and also works on bashing teammates, it would be fun if a full stack had 100% chance not 75, as black powder have a looong reload time. Again this is a luxury like Choo Choo if you have the time to grind for these mods and can make a set for giggles...
Though its a bit niche i enjoyed making my strangler heart into a miasma set. Seemed thematically fitting and is pretty satisfying to use with the weapon effect that deals additional damage to poisoned targets.
I can think of ONE situation where Battle Loaders might be goated. If it can proc off the minigun shredder, that could be insane and basically give you inifinite ammo at close range.
You’re right about Tanky but sorry you’re so wrong about Aegis. It gives you EVERY KIND of resistance. Yes 250 dr is useless for yourself but 250 energy is not, and then 100 fire, poison, and cryo is incredibly good. And a true tank to me is one that is able to shrug off ANY KIND of damage which Aegis provides and then helps your teammates too which is very good in the raid giving the whole team 100 more poison resist for the final boss. Is it the BEST? No..but A tier for sure maybe even low S tier still behind Rejuvators of course
I also do think propelling should break the cap and probably also do reload speed or melee speed (melee so using something other then autos is actually useful)
bruiser only adds 25% extra additive damage on melee weapons. But melee builds already have like +500% additive damage to begin with, so that 25% extra damage is actually just a few percentage extra damage
Decided earlier this week,to use all my Miasma-Mods on my Stranglerheart-PA . In combination with 3☆ Poison-Mods on all pieces of the armor and weapons with Vipers 4☆ it absolutely shreds. Didn't know about the part with grenadier buffing Miasma,thx for that🤟 Keep up the great work❤
Miasma does look very fun but then again anything that you can reliably kill with it will probably die much faster from you just attacking it, especially by the time youre able to get even one or two boxes, let alone a full set
Bruisers is actually a lot worse than Rangers. Angry turtle said this too, there’s already so many ways to buff melee damage and eventually the buffs give you diminishing returns which makes bruisers hardly noticeable. Rangers is a much more solid choice since there isn’t as many buffs to ranged damage as there is for melee :)
I'm just curious who is making the decisions on these effects? Do they have absolutely zero f'ing clue how the game works? Battle Loaders? I've gotten 4 of these worthless pieces of dog turds and I'm just dropping them on the ground because they're dog turds. Why did you make this mod? Whoever you are, what is your actual purpose on this earth? My god.
@ This is true. Honestly mods in general need to be reevaluated. Stalwarts might not be so bad if it were a 3 star. Right now the only good 3 star mods are all weight reductions for different items. But why? I have a choice between elemental damage procs or weight reduction for a fairly high tier mod. 3 star mods all suck but move some 4 star mods which suck as 4 star into 3 star and they look decent.
Yay! Just blind luck that I slapped rejuvenators for most of union armor pieces because that’s what I got from the raids. I was waiting to see what others were recommending before modding my Vulcan set. Thanks Mister Church. Love your videos -DecDonut

i think they nerf pa condition bar because back before my pa never break but now it often need repair its feel shitty that they do this to make stalward a thing even tho i will never runout of repair kit
Battle loaders should be a 100% chance with a full set at the very least. Probably should be that at 4 or even 3 pieces for it to be anywhere near decent
Four rejuvenators/one limit breaker/pinpointers for high crit gat plasma along with other effects moved around based on preference. Legendary luck and 2 star luck added as needed. Could also add lucky if you have enough ap regen buffs.
@shawnlee5482 I don't think it should be fixed the stacking can be removed, but this is a problem with bethesda nerfing instead of buffing other things to balance it out. They should buff sawbones and make it a hybrid of reflective and rejuvenators which sounds more like sawbones.
Thanks for the thorough analysis. I shall immediately take the rad-powered mod out of my vendor and keep it for myself. 😂 I had no clue what was good and what wasn’t. By chance and incredible luck I have a full set of rejuvenator Vulcan armour that the bot dropped for me after hours of relentless grinding. (Disclaimer: I have no life.)
Rad Powered shoul be normal armor mod too,giving the full health builds something that passively heals you from rads in a mod slot would be magnificent.Not mentioning but the AP regen is glorious imo....
Rejuvenatirs is definitely and obviously the best. Definitely dissapointing that they did not balance the 4 star effects better. However, it does match the quality of the game overall.

I heard that your reflected damage receives a bonus from your damage resistance. If that is true then tanky paired with ricochet and bullet shield could become very powerful with a heavy weapons/non power armor build.
I’ve been debating what to equip on my heavy armor as a Full Health Commando build. But I think I’ve finally decided that “Radioactive Powered” is the best choice for me. Rangers could also work, but I prefer the less rads and AP-Regen focused option. I don’t have to worry about running, “What rads?”
From what you said in the video, it seems like that could be a really cool sleeper build. Everyone’s been talking about Reflective, Aegis, and Rangers, but I’ve found Radioactive Powered boxes dropped on the ground near the depths. 🤘
@@misterchurch666rad powered is a weird one... If you have radiation is because you are bloodied and don't want to get rid of it and if you are a full health build, you are not going to have enough rads to proc it for more than a second unless you are inside a nuke or very specific parts of the map. Tbh I don't see any value on that perk
Rejuvenators is absolutely getting nerfed because it seems to be bugged and is performing far above where it should be. A full set should be providing 5hp/sec but I think angry Turtle said it seems to be closer to 25, which would match the brief demonstration you showed.

It's additive and cause you need 5 for 25% it is Not really that good tbh. There are better options for 4* mods. If you really want that tiny bit of extra dmg feel free to put it on
I'd put Rad Powered down in F tier for 2 reasons - it eats up your rads VERY quickly - and if you aren't constantly taking a lot of rads it's just a situational AP regen. It also completely fucks up Bloodied builds. In power armor you take almost no rads in the first place, so most of the time you won't have enough rads to sustain it. And you can just hotkey canned coffee or something else for an effect that isn't as situational and you can just activate whenever you want. I'd bump Ranger's all the way up to S tier - 25% more ranged damage all the time is just really nice, especially when stuff like the Gatling Plasma and Gauss Minigun are so dominant right now. I think you are right about Rejuvenator's - on a team. You can literally VATS forever with a team of people running it. It will be nerfed. Enjoy it while it lasts. But you can effectively down a few things of hotkeyed canned coffee real quick for the same infinite AP minus giving it to teammates, so you don't HAVE to run it to be a VATS nightmare and infinite jetpacker/sprinter.
@@mcchuggernaut9378 as I show in the video, you don’t need to have rads to get the AP regen, it’s a constant thing. Instead, the rad removal is dependent on using AP. It isn’t meant to be used on a bloodied build but that alone doesn’t make it bad, since high health builds are a thing
@@misterchurch666 I did not know it worked when you didn't have any rads, I thought it burnt rads for the extra AP. Sorry about that mistake. It does still lock you out of using a Bloodied build, but it would still be top-tier for a full health build. So I'd recant my F-tier placement and put it in A, and only not S because it only works for full healthers and you can get the same effect pretty easy with aid/food items and save that armor legendary slot for something you can't otherwise replicate easily.
I'm a weirdo that trucks around 7 suits of power armor. Assassin's / Powered / Sentinel's T-65 Exterminator / Poisoner's / Burning Union Hunter's / Strength / Arm's Keeper's Excavator Ghoul Slayer's / Hazmat / Toxic / Strangler Heart Mutant Slayer's / Fireproof / Belted / T-65 Zealot's / Hazmat / Dissipating / T-65 Overeaters / Powered / Thru Hiker's T-65 I'm considering a Bloodied armor and a Raid armor for the collection as well. I'm wondering which of these effects should I pair with which armor.
I'm putting full miasma on my thorn armor for a melee build. I've got Vulcan Vanguard with full rangers, that with a pyromaniac on the holy fire, is a beast. The build is built on ricochet and bullet shield. Vanguard gives the highest resistance for full health, on the Vulcan my resistances are 1k, aegis on this build would be beast as well, the ricochet and bullet sheid damage is affect by damage resistances as i understand it, so the deminishing returns on actual damage resistance doesnt matter. the ranger's damage bonus does allows for more freedom in weapon effects. Like vampire's to keep the full effect of the Vanguard. I was debating on rejuvenaters or aegis on my "paladin" build. Now I know which to use. Healing over damage resistance but that poison and frost resistance would help in daily ops as well.

@misterchurch666 the way angry turtle explains it is the damage from bullet sheild scales with your armor's damage resistances. The perks still work like the reflective mod as far as enemy strength for damage goes. But I have a one star set of vulcan overeaters and it doesn't do as well as the vulcan Vanguard when soloing en08. I'm basically standing there blasting with a vamps +25 charging gatling laser letting the perks take out its shields.
Hi, I actually grinded full sets in game. Sadly Miasma isn't great even on stranglerheart power armor. Lag from public servers make the DOT none existant. Choo-choo was already really bad because the impact on foes with the 50% chance at full set is really finnicy. If it had a little choo choo sound I'd like it more, but its worst then pain train perk in my opinion. Reflectors is only great now for soloing the first raid boss in under a minute. Rejuvinator is overpowered as heck Limit breakers is pretty okay- Allows you to heavy gun crit builds much more consistantly since they don't get that unyielding lock bonus. Propelling: Was actually fun as heck, and surprised it work with speed demon/squad manuevers. Angy turtle said it wouldn't but it did. Aegis: Is S TIER in my opinion and should be everyone's default. There aren't much things in game that give all sorts of damage resist other then legendary perks. It also helps your team. I'd rock 2 of this and 3 rejuvs on any daily driver armor.
Battle loader isn't S-tier but it does make black powder weapons viable. Bashing instantly refills a quad dragon. That is a stupid amount of boom in a very short period of time, absolutely stupid fun. C, if you want to be fair. Limit break? S tier for PA vats builds, and high A for any high health build. I don't get the point of doing full health in normal armor, but if you DO a high health vats build in normal armor it's still solid. There are other roads to full vats crits AND good AP refresh, but I'd argue limit breaker provides more value in that regard than your S-rank set... I can run a full set of limit breaker, which would let me slot another 10E points instead of luck. That's a MESS of AP, a mess of health, all on it's own, with other bonuses besides, when you look at the synergies that come with high E. Miasma's a C, if I'm generous. You could add it into a full passive damage bonus setup, with tesla coils and 3'd star damage to melee attacker mods, but even then it's so niche I just don't see the point, (watching one hit kill mobs take multiple seconds to die in your footage was physically painful to watch) Baring "hey I will have fun with this" and yeah sure. It can hang with battle loaders, it's the exact same sort of thing. "Niche, so far off meta builds that you only play them for fun, not in end game content". You did sell me on radioactive-powered though. I just assumed you NEEDED rads for that to work, tossing that one the one 3* left on my vulcan set.
For years I was melee-only and although I haven't tried Bruiser's, I can't see how 5% damage is worth a 4-star slot when something as simple as Glowing Meat Steak with carnivore/SIN gives 100% additional damage. Runner's costing a 4 star slot is too expensive when you can get the same exact effect with 1 rank of the Marathoner's perk card. I've dropped that from my melee build because it makes so little difference. Choo-choo's is nothing more than a gimmick and is F-tier.
@@corygiroux972 as far as I know, poison attacks don’t stack, they just refresh the damage over time (I could be wrong). If you see the little triangle under their health bar, that is the DoT, if it has more than one, it’s stacking. Otherwise I believe it is just refreshing
I made Maismas Strangler and love it as a gimmick set. Which the poison AoE and Maismas don't stack, they don't need to really. Just run Maismas and if possible Reactive Plates and stuff will just knock itself out on you quickly. That makes the AoE more or less irrelevant, though you'll get some chip damage in before anything attacks you. Also, run Vipers on your weapon to complete the gimmick since Strangler always adds poison damage, so your weapon will always have +50% damage.

Does having full reflective make you take half damage? I thought it reflected half damage and made you take half damage because once I got it on my armor I felt a lot tankier for some reason.
Reflective doesn't change the amount of damage you take. It just takes whatever damage you do take and send 50% of it back at the enemy. I have a full set of Reflective and I'd say it's my second favorite only to Rejuvinators which is actually OP.

Just grab a vampire gun with a high rate of fire, and you can tank the poison just fine.

I feel as though, there are a ton of variables to take into consideration, including Legendary cards (Sizzling Style, Funky Duds), PA sets (Union), 2* mods (Poisonous, Warming, Fireproof), and the Opportunity Cost, of what is freed up by using Aegis - you lose your 4* slot, yes, but it gives you flexibility in a ton of other areas; all of this isn't even mentioning, it applies to OTHER players as well.
Personally, I ended up throwing together a set of Rejuvenator's before the hype as my first set of 4* PA during the first week, and then I ended up learning Reflective when doing my 76 raids for the title, but I would LOVE to have a set of Aegis, too.
Been hitting the raid at least a couple of times a day and a lot this weekend and I've been hanging on to all my 4 star armor mods until they've been evaluated. Watched this and excitedly logged in to see just how many Rejuventor boxes I have. Zero. BUt of course I have a crap ton of Aegis and Runners. Now I'm depressed and even less enthused to go to work, so thanks for that.
But seriously, there are a couple of YTers that I'd rank S tier for hard data nerdy breakdowns but they're dry AF. You're hands down the lone S-tier follow for entertaining, LOL-funny AND useful FO content, so much thanks for that.
Battle-Loaders is amazing, but niche. As someone who has a Pirate (black powder) character, Battle-Loaders is an absolute beast of a modset. Wish it was 100% as it's hard enough to bash in the middle of raids, but when I get consistent bash reloads down, I am doing so much damage I am keeping up and sometimes even outpacing the heavy gunners.
Limit-Breaking is an absolute S-tier mod but only for Full Health builds, which I happen to be. Not having crits tied to your luck frees up other stats that are more useful on both armor and in perks...and the best part is that you don't need a full set, which leaves you open for other 4 star mods to supplement your build. Maybe Rejuv or Sawbones.
Miasma's is trash compared to Reflect, even if Miasma does more damage to trash mobs...they have to be in melee range for it to work. Reflect works at ALL ranges, so infinitely more useful and in more situations. There is almost no situation where you would want this over Reflect...it's damage is also split between radiation, which is the worst damage type in the game as 90% of everything is immune to it, so you lose half the effectiveness of it anyway.
Putting Limit Breaking in B/C tier is wild to me. If you're full health it's the best ranged DPS boost out of all of them and eliminates needing to take Luck buffs for crits. Easily S tier mod.
Nah, all you need is 1 nuka cola dark. I use rejuvenators+conductors and it only takes a single nuka dark and 1 overdrive (raid gives tons of overdrive) to solo any of the bosses and the epsilon squad (albeit duo the squad because of generators). I can stay withing vats almost the entire core. Outside of raids? Everything dies so fast it doesn't matter. Limit breaking in a vacuum is great, but gameplay wise? It's just a way to be lazy. Nuka dark isn't even hard to farm.
Also, rejuvinators is so strong that a luck+Rejuvenator's will outperform a agility/end+ limit breaking anyways.
I can see his reason behind this, you burn other very good options as a 4th star if you only use this. Certainly you solve the crit limit but this is only if you are heavy PA crit build. In case you want to tank , rejuvanator with reflective or aegis as a combination can make you unkillable, so it comes down to how each of us wants to play.
I agree. You would need limit breaking on a full health build to hit the crit cap. Also, bruisers is additive with your strength damage multiplier. If you have 50 strength, 5 bruisers is only a 10% boost lol. Also, Miasma's!!!?
No! it‘s just quality of life. you can just drink nuka darks with party boy, cola nut and happy go lucky. you get 6 endurance, 6 strength and 18 luck.
@@wormwoodmain6677 I only run 2 Limit Breaking with 2 Luck pieces + 3 Rejuvinators + 3 Powered. You don't have to run a full set of Limit Breaking to get max crit shots. I'm still pretty much unkillable while getting every other shot crit so I don't see what the downside to that is? And if I need more AP regen for bosses I can just spam coffee.

Aegis is absolutely S tier. Stacking elemental resists means there is no need to use legendary cards for this or even 2* resists. Not to mention it’s a team buff, absolutely S tier

@@routrucks6329 Not really. This new Raid system feels like it forces you to play the way Bethesda wants which is inherently bad design. Sure Unyielding was strong, but you never felt forced to play with it.
@Bausaw I think that you are not forced to use PA for thr raids, sure it helps a lot but you can to a certain degree run bloodied/ full health without PA in the raid, you are gonna be more frail , but you compensate that with your high dps, in the end you want to kill all the bosses as fast as possible, now in the case of full health without PA well you got health I guess.
Considering that up until now the whole game has been “go bloodied or get punished,” this was a needed update in my opinion.

11:48 Wiggle-plays just did a video showing how stacking up damage/energy resist really positively affects reflective damage. It's possible that tanky's might be better for reflective damage than the actual reflective four star effect.

The thing i like about aegis is the team wide poison resist. I havent tested it but it seems like you could save everyone from using funky duds and everyone gets another legendary perk card for free basically. Especially if you have union and the endurance perk for poison resist. 5 extra perk points seems like a great deal.
I have only done a handful of raids, but I can't resist a good chart, especially if it ranks things! I really appreciate the charting, ranking, and ranting! Maybe one day I will stop building and put it all this new knowledge to use.
Battle loaders i think is meant for screwing around with black powder weapons. Though according to wiggle, it doesn't work on weapons that only hold 1 round. Though it does work on quad black powders. Quad faster fire rate could be kinda goofy. Boom boom boom boom 💥

Though its a bit niche i enjoyed making my strangler heart into a miasma set. Seemed thematically fitting and is pretty satisfying to use with the weapon effect that deals additional damage to poisoned targets.

Yes 250 dr is useless for yourself but 250 energy is not, and then 100 fire, poison, and cryo is incredibly good.
And a true tank to me is one that is able to shrug off ANY KIND of damage which Aegis provides and then helps your teammates too which is very good in the raid giving the whole team 100 more poison resist for the final boss.
Is it the BEST? No..but A tier for sure maybe even low S tier still behind Rejuvators of course

bruiser only adds 25% extra additive damage on melee weapons. But melee builds already have like +500% additive damage to begin with, so that 25% extra damage is actually just a few percentage extra damage

Miasma does look very fun but then again anything that you can reliably kill with it will probably die much faster from you just attacking it, especially by the time youre able to get even one or two boxes, let alone a full set
Bruisers is actually a lot worse than Rangers. Angry turtle said this too, there’s already so many ways to buff melee damage and eventually the buffs give you diminishing returns which makes bruisers hardly noticeable. Rangers is a much more solid choice since there isn’t as many buffs to ranged damage as there is for melee :)
We have a few people that have full rejuvenators, and we are not getting healing from them and yes we are within 50. Maybe we are missing something?

@ This is true. Honestly mods in general need to be reevaluated. Stalwarts might not be so bad if it were a 3 star. Right now the only good 3 star mods are all weight reductions for different items. But why? I have a choice between elemental damage procs or weight reduction for a fairly high tier mod. 3 star mods all suck but move some 4 star mods which suck as 4 star into 3 star and they look decent.

Four rejuvenators/one limit breaker/pinpointers for high crit gat plasma along with other effects moved around based on preference. Legendary luck and 2 star luck added as needed. Could also add lucky if you have enough ap regen buffs.
It supposed to be 1 hp/ap per piece but its giving 5.. at times even up to 40+ total …Definitely getting fixed…
@shawnlee5482 I don't think it should be fixed the stacking can be removed, but this is a problem with bethesda nerfing instead of buffing other things to balance it out. They should buff sawbones and make it a hybrid of reflective and rejuvenators which sounds more like sawbones.

Rad Powered shoul be normal armor mod too,giving the full health builds something that passively heals you from rads in a mod slot would be magnificent.Not mentioning but the AP regen is glorious imo....
Rejuvenatirs is definitely and obviously the best. Definitely dissapointing that they did not balance the 4 star effects better. However, it does match the quality of the game overall.

I heard that your reflected damage receives a bonus from your damage resistance. If that is true then tanky paired with ricochet and bullet shield could become very powerful with a heavy weapons/non power armor build.

I’ve been debating what to equip on my heavy armor as a Full Health Commando build. But I think I’ve finally decided that “Radioactive Powered” is the best choice for me. Rangers could also work, but I prefer the less rads and AP-Regen focused option. I don’t have to worry about running, “What rads?”

If you have radiation is because you are bloodied and don't want to get rid of it and if you are a full health build, you are not going to have enough rads to proc it for more than a second unless you are inside a nuke or very specific parts of the map. Tbh I don't see any value on that perk

It's additive and cause you need 5 for 25% it is Not really that good tbh. There are better options for 4* mods. If you really want that tiny bit of extra dmg feel free to put it on
I'd put Rad Powered down in F tier for 2 reasons - it eats up your rads VERY quickly - and if you aren't constantly taking a lot of rads it's just a situational AP regen. It also completely fucks up Bloodied builds. In power armor you take almost no rads in the first place, so most of the time you won't have enough rads to sustain it. And you can just hotkey canned coffee or something else for an effect that isn't as situational and you can just activate whenever you want. I'd bump Ranger's all the way up to S tier - 25% more ranged damage all the time is just really nice, especially when stuff like the Gatling Plasma and Gauss Minigun are so dominant right now. I think you are right about Rejuvenator's - on a team. You can literally VATS forever with a team of people running it. It will be nerfed. Enjoy it while it lasts. But you can effectively down a few things of hotkeyed canned coffee real quick for the same infinite AP minus giving it to teammates, so you don't HAVE to run it to be a VATS nightmare and infinite jetpacker/sprinter.
@@mcchuggernaut9378 as I show in the video, you don’t need to have rads to get the AP regen, it’s a constant thing. Instead, the rad removal is dependent on using AP. It isn’t meant to be used on a bloodied build but that alone doesn’t make it bad, since high health builds are a thing
@@misterchurch666 I did not know it worked when you didn't have any rads, I thought it burnt rads for the extra AP. Sorry about that mistake. It does still lock you out of using a Bloodied build, but it would still be top-tier for a full health build. So I'd recant my F-tier placement and put it in A, and only not S because it only works for full healthers and you can get the same effect pretty easy with aid/food items and save that armor legendary slot for something you can't otherwise replicate easily.

I'm putting full miasma on my thorn armor for a melee build. I've got Vulcan Vanguard with full rangers, that with a pyromaniac on the holy fire, is a beast. The build is built on ricochet and bullet shield. Vanguard gives the highest resistance for full health, on the Vulcan my resistances are 1k, aegis on this build would be beast as well, the ricochet and bullet sheid damage is affect by damage resistances as i understand it, so the deminishing returns on actual damage resistance doesnt matter. the ranger's damage bonus does allows for more freedom in weapon effects. Like vampire's to keep the full effect of the Vanguard.
I was debating on rejuvenaters or aegis on my "paladin" build. Now I know which to use. Healing over damage resistance but that poison and frost resistance would help in daily ops as well.

@misterchurch666 the way angry turtle explains it is the damage from bullet sheild scales with your armor's damage resistances. The perks still work like the reflective mod as far as enemy strength for damage goes. But I have a one star set of vulcan overeaters and it doesn't do as well as the vulcan Vanguard when soloing en08. I'm basically standing there blasting with a vamps +25 charging gatling laser letting the perks take out its shields.

Hi, I actually grinded full sets in game.
Sadly Miasma isn't great even on stranglerheart power armor. Lag from public servers make the DOT none existant.
Choo-choo was already really bad because the impact on foes with the 50% chance at full set is really finnicy. If it had a little choo choo sound I'd like it more, but its worst then pain train perk in my opinion.
Reflectors is only great now for soloing the first raid boss in under a minute.
Rejuvinator is overpowered as heck
Limit breakers is pretty okay- Allows you to heavy gun crit builds much more consistantly since they don't get that unyielding lock bonus.
Propelling: Was actually fun as heck, and surprised it work with speed demon/squad manuevers. Angy turtle said it wouldn't but it did.
Aegis: Is S TIER in my opinion and should be everyone's default. There aren't much things in game that give all sorts of damage resist other then legendary perks. It also helps your team. I'd rock 2 of this and 3 rejuvs on any daily driver armor.
I don't know how you tested but propelling doesnt stack with squad manoeuvres and speed demon, it's a hard 25% lock

Battle loader isn't S-tier but it does make black powder weapons viable. Bashing instantly refills a quad dragon. That is a stupid amount of boom in a very short period of time, absolutely stupid fun. C, if you want to be fair.
Limit break? S tier for PA vats builds, and high A for any high health build. I don't get the point of doing full health in normal armor, but if you DO a high health vats build in normal armor it's still solid. There are other roads to full vats crits AND good AP refresh, but I'd argue limit breaker provides more value in that regard than your S-rank set... I can run a full set of limit breaker, which would let me slot another 10E points instead of luck. That's a MESS of AP, a mess of health, all on it's own, with other bonuses besides, when you look at the synergies that come with high E.
Miasma's a C, if I'm generous. You could add it into a full passive damage bonus setup, with tesla coils and 3'd star damage to melee attacker mods, but even then it's so niche I just don't see the point, (watching one hit kill mobs take multiple seconds to die in your footage was physically painful to watch) Baring "hey I will have fun with this" and yeah sure. It can hang with battle loaders, it's the exact same sort of thing. "Niche, so far off meta builds that you only play them for fun, not in end game content".
You did sell me on radioactive-powered though. I just assumed you NEEDED rads for that to work, tossing that one the one 3* left on my vulcan set.

For years I was melee-only and although I haven't tried Bruiser's, I can't see how 5% damage is worth a 4-star slot when something as simple as Glowing Meat Steak with carnivore/SIN gives 100% additional damage.
Runner's costing a 4 star slot is too expensive when you can get the same exact effect with 1 rank of the Marathoner's perk card. I've dropped that from my melee build because it makes so little difference.
Choo-choo's is nothing more than a gimmick and is F-tier.

@@corygiroux972 as far as I know, poison attacks don’t stack, they just refresh the damage over time (I could be wrong). If you see the little triangle under their health bar, that is the DoT, if it has more than one, it’s stacking. Otherwise I believe it is just refreshing

I made Maismas Strangler and love it as a gimmick set. Which the poison AoE and Maismas don't stack, they don't need to really. Just run Maismas and if possible Reactive Plates and stuff will just knock itself out on you quickly. That makes the AoE more or less irrelevant, though you'll get some chip damage in before anything attacks you.
Also, run Vipers on your weapon to complete the gimmick since Strangler always adds poison damage, so your weapon will always have +50% damage.

As long as coffee spam is a thing anything that improves ap regen will come into question. However, I agree with rejuv being top tier.
In raids i do repair pa. Only in raids, but, with the flood of repair kits, Stalwarts is f-ing stupid.
I've heard runners reduces the cost of jet-pack too, but I haven't got any confirmation on that. Can anyone confirm or deny that with certainty?

Does having full reflective make you take half damage? I thought it reflected half damage and made you take half damage because once I got it on my armor I felt a lot tankier for some reason.
Reflective doesn't change the amount of damage you take. It just takes whatever damage you do take and send 50% of it back at the enemy. I have a full set of Reflective and I'd say it's my second favorite only to Rejuvinators which is actually OP.
