As someone who was born and raised in Iowa and moved to Texas from Illinois. I love Bellville which is why I've planted my roots and am raising my family here. Great video!
Bravo Chet! As a generational Texian, I knew of San Felipe de Austin, long before 7th grade Texas History class. Thank you for highlighting the new exhibit, think I found my next 2 days trip from Fort Worth, thank you
I love this episode. As a 7th generation texan, it just boosts my love for the state and my heritage! Also, thanks for showing that kolaches are not those pigs in a blanket some people call them.
My husband’s G-Grandfather was the county clerk there. His son helped build the Masons Lodge. All the family are burried there as well. Great little town 💕💕💕
I remember stopping by there back in the day I would cut through there when heading to Brenham. There was also a small BBQ place called silver saddle I like going to but not sure if it's still open
I grew up in Bellville and it's one of the great towns of Texas. The area is loaded with Texas history. Y'all missed a couple of things though. You missed the jail, and the topography that's right outside of town (North and West). Anyway, it's such a great place to live.
I live Lake Jackson sand about every two months I’ll hope on motorcycle and make a sausage run to Belleville Meat Market and pick a few links if sausage and occasionally something else. Their sausage is some of the most lean but moist sausage I have ever had. Absolutely love it! Definitely go check out San Felipe de Austin both the town and the new visitor center it’s a humbling experience. All the places featured on this episode are 👍👍
How is this not a TV show. Covering all kinds of places. Like colonial Williamsburg. Jamestown. Ya know the state where the mass majority of its founding fathers became presidents. Anyway, this should be a TV show. It hits, plenty of states to cover. Would be super cool.
Great video Chet! Got to go online and see about some sausage from the meat market! Also, it's funny that "Y'all" was because 'you' didn't make it clear it was plural. Now "all y'all" is used 'cause' y'all itself no longer made it clear enough. What's next?
Awesome. I want to visit all these places, eat all those foods, drink all those 🍺beers and drink all those🍻 beers again 😮 If you like country music, listen to me sing an original called, Lisa Moo Moo Marie. Big 🤗
@@mattl1811 Expensive and stale goods. By noon not a single fresh item. Their breakfast plates might be good? Just across the road is the meat market that has awesome kolaches, sandwiches and coffee.

Bellville Meat Market is always a must stop when passing through. Love that place.
Wow! Another road trip on my Texas bucket list!
This Is Such A Great Video! I Love All The Places You Go To! I Can’t Believe You Can Do This Amazing Video!

This episode turned out to be cooler than I thought.
My husband's family was part of Stephen F Austin's 300.
So cool
As a native Texan videos like this are so cool to watch.
Nothing better than the train coming through. We’re moving to Bellville, but very familiar with the train.
From Ft. Worth to Daytripper crew . This was a good trip..As a native, love these trips. Where to next??
Nice one Chetster!

You’re like the old show, Eyes of Texas.

Newman's Bakery is best avoided.
Completely agree
Why is that?

22 north holland is the best
Despite this ep, Newman is known to be a jerk
What about Trump Burger ???
Absolutely sucks. Sad. Stereotypes Belleville. There's many other good places.
I am surprised you didn't go to Trump Burger while you were in Belleville
Dude has class.
What no trump burger
Nope. Dude has class.
