How you only have 23k is beyond me. Awesome content, great quality, actually finishes projects, and shows attainable cars that a lot of people can relate to. Keep killing it Chris!
“I don’t know if this was built on a Friday, or they cracked a couple of cold ones before building it” 😂😂😂😂 I’m happy to hear her run, especially right before the Holidays
I'm 51 from Finland. I like to watch UA-cam videos while I'm doing my training indoor rowing 6times/week. I'm so happy to find your UA-cam channel. Great content, good music and different cars. Here in Finland, cars are twice as expensive as In USA. Thats why my car is only 2015 Mustang GT 23000miles.
Chris, I was whopping it up with you when you brought that baby to life! I followed the project from the start and really enjoyed the content. I'm learning a lot and really appreciate the detail you go into for disassembly and reassembly. Mad skills bro! I'm envious! I subscribed and will go back and watch your other videos. Keep up the great content.
Such a great feeling! Just had the same thing (to an extent) after blowing a head gasket on my 03 Cobra. After the tear down and rebuild nothing better than hearing that first fire!
Fantastic coverage if the LS7 replacement Chris!! Brings back old time memories of working on my 396! New to your channel but I Am Hooked!!!!! Keep up the great work!!
That thing sounds so good! C6 is my favorite body style for the Vette. One of these days I’ll own a Z06 or a ZR1. Can’t wait to see the rest of this build!
Dude, you make it look easy. I know you put a ton of work into this build. So nice to see you putting this Z back on the road again. I have an 09 Z06. These cars are monsters. Cheers.
I love your videos man I have a 2006 and I’m getting ready to do a clutch in it and I’m kind of dreading it but watching your videos is making it way easier lol
Don't know if you check comments on your older videos, but I can't agree more with Miki Bajrektarevic when he said, "1 of only few UA-cam UA-camrs that actually knows his stuff and finishes projects extremely fast . Love the content man keep it up". I found your channel a little over a week ago watching the SVT Lightning series and have now seen 23 of them. Thanks for the content Chris.
My favorite new channel ive followed in awhile. Great overall video editing and content. Super stoked i found your page. Actually it was the V1 that originally had you pop up im my feed and after my first view sub’d.
I'm a recent subscriber, and growing fan of the work you do. I've built several cars over the years (I'm nearly 64), and finished the build of my 2010 C6 GS in January 2022, dyno'd at just over 500 rwhp (508/462). Nice manners, good street ride, nothing too rowdy. Question: I understand that your new LS7 bullet has a Cam motion custom stick, but can you please share the specs? Sorry if I missed the part where you already did - told us. I can't wait to see this on the dyno!! Merry Christmas to you & yours / and keep up the terrific DYI videos.
My My Chris I feel your enthusiasm and I'm not even a Chevy GMC guy but you did a great job from the beginning I just want to see what the next step going to be and I'll be watching like normal
F’n hells yeahs!! Think I was about as pumped as if I did the work! Ha! Great job my dude delivering great content on saucy vehiculars. Getting it done right!
Chris watched the video. I am so happy for you that you got the car running. I only wish I had half the knowledge you have about building this car. Can't wait to see next video when you take it out on the road. Take care stay safe and Merry Xmas to you. :) 😁😁😁👍👍👍
It sound insane man ! You deserve it for sure with all that work on that car ! Probably a very very good feeling of achievement ! Now i want a LS with a big shop cam !!!!
Congratulations..your a smart dude..been following since you 1st bought this..dang you put alot of work in..Old Saying-"Hard Work Pays Off!!" Literally
hell yeah, bro. i love ur content as a fellow ls7 man! i really wish that you spoke more about why you used Rotella for break-in, specifically. i know why you used it, but the average viewer may not know attributes of Rotella and its benefits during break-in. You're a great teacher.
Chris , you did wonderful engineering on that messed up exhaust system as it turned out great! I swear a lot of the online reviews are faked just to sell product!! Man the cammed exhaust note is pure music!!
Just found you Chris!! Thank you, awesome content!! Ebay engine sounds like a total animal!! Great job. You have a way of making difficult jobs way to easy. Keep it up bud!!
That 8mm socket was trying to disappear like they all do😆 congrats on your successful build. I don't know if you're formally trained for TIG welding, but stainless is unforgiving. Your welds are hot and the chromium has cooked out and it will rust in that area. I'd like to offer some tips for the next time you would be stainless. Measure the thickness of the material. For every thousands of an inch = 1 amp on the welder. Stainless can't get too hot, so you'll have to weld faster or increase your gas flow. Once you see the weld puddle, get moving! Overall good job bro, this is how men give birth! Enjoy that car💪🏆
Dude I have been nothing but excited for the content man, you give great insight on all of your tasks. Can’t wait for the body transformation dude!!! See you in the next one 💪🏼
Hey Chris I stumbled on your channel tonight browsing corvettes since im a brand new 2023 C8 z51 owner. WOW so awesome watching all of this on your zo6 rebirth. What a score and holy smokes! that cam wow!! looking forward to following this. Im a new sub to your channel tonight thanks for the awesome content. Aloha from Maui Hawaii Eric
Chris as an aircraft mechanic by training i am impressed with your desire for cleanliness. Clean up of the dry sump to the removal of the oil cooler and lines - just top notch. You could never successfully get that debris out of the cooler or the intake for that matter. By the way what sort of tool did you use to draw a vacuum on your coolant system? I have never seen anything like it. Your vids are a lot of fun to watch and I will be going back through some of your older work to check them out. Safe and healthy New Year to you and your family.
Had nothing but issues with speed engineering headers and xpipe on my c6z. The headers were rubbing against the tunnel and the xpipe was almost impossible to get on. Ended up returning them and going with Texas speed longtubes.
I have zero experience on a ls7 stock or modified.. after viewing a few videos it seems that there is some potential issues with the valve train.. when the engine was being built was anything done to it to help that possibility from happening again . Having some skills is a plus on the exhaust.. i run full synthetic oil i believe is the same brand and weight in the SS Camaro and my old Tdi Jetta ..Never had any problems . Enjoyed the video
Totally agree with your break in oil thoughts. I am using Driven BR30 and then will go synthetic. It's a spicy motor instead of a rebuild so that's why I chose to spend the money on it. Love your content bro. Cool to see someone learning and teaching others along the way.
Hey Chris, you (along with other factors) motivated me to start my own UA-cam channel showing my car builds. I have a 2017 C7 GS that I’m about to procharge and then plan to get a C6 Z06 to auto cross/road race. Any suggestions on camera/video setups that have worked for you? Enjoy the videos and maybe one day we can do some road pulls together! I’m based out of St. Louis!
Great job Chris!!! Sounds amazing and it should be an amazing car again! Look forward to the clean up on the appearance effort!!! Merry Christmas dude!!!🇺🇸
Did you know Corvettes have a lubrication mode? Press the clutch to the floor and the gas to the floor and motor will crank but not fire. Make sure it’s in neutral. Great vid!
Yooo Chris merry Xmas man this video is dope asf I’ve been watching since the camaro build love it man your motivating to go out an turn some wrenches on my own project
Man, that sounds great Chris... The idle sounds killer with that camshaft. Can't wait to see how it goes on the road. Great job Bud and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Looks and sounds great, congrats Chris! BTW, if you used the clamps supplied with the SE exhaust system, order new ones and replace ASAP. The clamps they supply are absolute crap and you'll never get them to stay sealed...
How you only have 23k is beyond me. Awesome content, great quality, actually finishes projects, and shows attainable cars that a lot of people can relate to. Keep killing it Chris!

There's nothing better than seeing a Car rebuilt with LOVE by a true professional. You could work on my car ANY time. Great job
Such an underrated content creator. I like how you do mostly everything yourself. Keep up the great work!
Sounds really good! You should keep this one. That way you have a boosted c6z, and a naturally aspirated one.
“I don’t know if this was built on a Friday, or they cracked a couple of cold ones before building it” 😂😂😂😂 I’m happy to hear her run, especially right before the Holidays
Been following for a while, you are a true inspiration! Wish I had a garage...
The zinc content of conventional oil is what’s important for break in.

I can tell without even asking that those are Texas speed headers. I had the exact same issue. Glad im not the only one lol
I just bought an oem tools coolant tool like yours. I don’t build engines but I have it just in case I need it and it seems like a great tool to have.
The HP tuners thing is pretty cool safety feature for your obd2. If it doesn’t recognize it when it’s plugged before starting
Man good job Chris……she’s gonna be a beauty! Phenomenal work man!!
