Wow so sick...that Whipple is a beast!
Thank you! It is a strong running vehicle for sure!
I got a Whipple 3.0 on my 2022 LT1. Street tune from best shop in town. We kept it around 600 RWH. All stock otherwise. 6 M trans. But you can not deny how fast the autos shift.
No lift shift is way more fun.
More Camaro SS please.
How much is this kit and service would love to know how much I need to save up for you guys 🤙
Got a black Camaro 2SS 2023
YaY more camaro ss stuff!
Yes sir!! We will try and keep more coming.
God I need this for my 5th gen
Super cool stuff
Will the 3.0L fit under a stock hood?
I had a 6th SS already. Getting a damn ZL1 regardless lol. Love it but i know we all know that heat management is a huge difference between SS and ZL1. Dare to say that a zl1 pulls up with the same mods…it’s over lol.
Built my ss ..fan runs all the time to keep it cool…zl1 is the choice if you can.
@@perrylynch322 an SS 1LE would probably have an easier time staying cool
So you don’t have to build the motor to go above 655?
Love the videos. Want you guys to tune my turbo Camaro
Thank you! Feel free to hit us up anytime.
How much is a build like this, assuming labor in the cost? 5:46
I’m assuming 15,000-20,000$ for this setup all in all
I say more because that supercharger kit is almost $10000 alone.
Probably more toward the higher end. He did pistons, cams, etc etc. Dude probably spent $25-30k out the door.
Is this better than the Magnuson supercharger? Also does it fit under the hood of a grand sport corvette?
Yes this is a 3.0 liter blower and not a 2.3 liter blower
Does make any difference on 23 ss 1le??
How much is this package and dont say shoot me an email
Looks u guys do a nice job, I have a 90 mustang GT convertible, would like to know about to put more power on it, about from original HP to maybe 400 HP? Let me know about that please, thank you!
Take it somewhere else, LMR is Chevrolet bud.
@@SoloStix are you a LMR guy in charge about the videos? If not let a specific or special person to say something," bud".
@@carado1984 I agree I had one in a 88gt I meant LMR
@@manuelmundo5506 no, I'm a Ford guy and lmr is Chevrolet I know several people with lmr vets.
This is literally the perfect street car
Damn nice build. That Whipple in red sets off the whole engine compartment. Runs bad ass also.
Congrats on the build.
I did a 10.70 60-130 in my stock manual 1LE so it should be around that stock. If that car was hooking it may do a 6.60 which is pretty dang fast
Thank you for the response. Yes. I figured stock would be somewhere close to 10sec. If this car had drag radials on it I definitely think 6.5-6.7 is doable.
Been eyeing the whipple for a couple years now. Wish i didn't live so far from you guys...my SS would definitely be coming to you this year for the upgrade.
Ship it out there
My best time is 7.23 60-130. Stock internals, Headers, meth injection.
This is faster than mine while spinning!🔥🔥
Have you guys builds any twin turbo LT1 yet?
How much would something like this be ????
I'd love to see a NA build with the same'ish idea. 500-600hp range and compare 5th gen with the same idea with a 6th gen. At the least talk about it.
Love it! ❤ can’t wait to go for a ride in it! This is my dream car!
How mich power would it make if you left the stock cam in?
Not enough. It's a Chev remember? Lol
Not enough. It's a Chev...lol
Good job ! Put some $ back for a transmission, 4L80E or T56 magnum.
Yes’ more ss builds!!! Love it!
Love the Chevrolet stuff. Keep it up.
Awesome! Hopefully we can get my 1LE in for something similar!
Awesome cinematography and editing style. Camaro sound now matched the killer style
How many miles can you put on engine like this?
800 hp? Not on the lt1 pistons haha.
I think pro charger with lt4 high side fueling is best. I made 690whp 60 percent ethanol. It’s on my page
Heck yeah
Don't let ya daddy drive it
These tires (assuming they're plain Nitto NT555 G2s) are junk, especially at this power level. The customer should get the 555 RIIs or at least quality non-drag radials.
Looks sweet, sounds amazing.
Really nice build Steven! Car looks, sounds, and performs really well.
Thank you!!
Is there a way to have minimal shake so it’s comfier I want to make 660hp on stock internals. 2018 Camaro ss hot wheels 12,755 miles
Heck of a build. Saving my money and hoping by the end of the year I can come see y’all. Although y’all are pricey I reckon pay one and have it done right the first time!!! :)
That runs beautiful…always clean a big horsepower when cars leave LMR.. 👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸…. 😎
that is nice i have a 2010 camaro ss with 35k miles an would love to do the same what am i looking at
Maggie 2650 or whipple? Which makes more power in this setup, what about IAT’s?
BaDAzz 🇺🇸🏁
Is it necessary to cut the hood for the installation, or is the see threw hood just for cosmetics..??
Do you change or recommend a 1 piece drive shaft , in a manual...
looks like the perfect set up. What is the cost of this package?
🔥
Real nice i keep watching it and the more i see it the more i want doingit
SO VICIOUS! These cars are insane bang for buck and I'm sure this package blows the doors off. That 60-130 time puts it on par with the Plaid. If not faster.
Not even close. Plaid S is in the 4's. And bang for your buck is terrible. They had to pull the engine, change the cam, valvetrain and reassemble along with the cost of the blower just to run mid to high 6's. You have any idea how much that costs? You can buy a completely stock 5.0 Coyote, put a Whipple on it and run low 6's 60-130 for less then half the cost.
@@freak_5.042 Yes you are right on the Plaid times unfortunately I was way off. Can't comment on Coyote 5.0, never built either myself
Watched until 8:45 and saw it was automatic hahah
That Sound😮 what kind of exhaust ist that??
How would the new whipple do on a lt4 cts-v/zl1
I wouldn’t push the boost more than 6 psi on a stock lt1 engine unless you are changing the internals to forged high strength materials and the piston rings. Unlike LT4, LT1 runs on high compression ratio so high boost makes it a ticking time bomb. Timing also needs to be backed up .
Not very accurate as a Coyote runs 12.1 compression and you can run 11psi safety on pump 93 and run 5.9-6.1 60-130 all day. LT1 is just a weak engine.
The Red is the shit but I would do it on a convertible
This is the literal definition of, cart before horse.
Nice I need one of them asap !! 😂
Camaro does have a nice sound with the wipple.
You gotta go competitive mode.
What cam is this?
Nasty!
Thank you!
Where can I find that hood?
curious, why stock intake still ?
The aftermarket hood vents are right over the air box. We didn't want water spilling in on the air filter
🔥🔥
So sick!!!
Thanks
Nice job on the SS! Have you installed a Whipple 3.0 on a Camaro LT1 yet?
This is an LT1
Yes, that is what this build is! 👍
@@LateModelRacecraft I meant an LT1 vs an SS.
@@superado2kLT1 and SS have the same engine…
@@KendallFreeman2020 yeah, I understand that 👍
665 RWHP is not crazy high???? Okay!
Because it’s not turned up that yet
I know pray LT1 cars making 650 whp NA. It’s making shit power for a 3L whipple.
About what my lt416 made na
Bad ass!
Gonna fry the rings and pistons within a couple months
Nonsense. This is mild. Don't run a lean tune and it is just fine. 7.5lbs is safe.
Has drop in forged pistons anyway
Sounds awesome
