This is so true. So much of anxiety and OCD is due to the limbic system and autonomic nervous system being caught in fight/flight/freeze- the symptoms are real, physical and not consciously created. Even being in fear of symptoms is normal, it’s now our brains are hardwired, how we are conditioned and gets worse the more hyper vigilant our brain becomes from the sensitized nerves. However, we need to use our rational/conscious mind & intellect to heal this and that is our responsibility.

I really feel bad about myself cos I know it's just health anxiety and nothing ever gonna happen but when my thoughts take over I feel hopeless cos I can't win and control them
with bipolar and schizophrenia usually the people around you notice, not you. So if you are afraid of it then dw you are fine, just visit a doctor and ask him, then respond with the AWARE process!
Plus you can't control your issues (without meds) I guess. I remember when I had this fear too. I was freaking scared to depth of possibly being bipolar or depressed. It was my illness anxiety behind it all the time.
It is because this is all you need to recover, it sounds so simple but it is very very hard to implement, but it gets easier and easier the more you practice, and eventually when you let go of all these weird thoughts and let your body do whatever it wants to burn all the adrenaline then you recover!

Shaan , I would love to hear from you if you're reading this comment, I am going through the recovery journey and focusing on long term freedom , I learnt the mechanics of anxiety, have been using ALARM method and really good doing through my setbacks, the setbacks were less often back 2-3 months ago , but they are like frequent nowadays, but I'm not being tricked from anxiety now. I am not monitoring my progress through symptoms and I'm slowly focusing on life again, I realise these videos are great and i appreciate your humanity behind. I am trying my full potential to become a good person out of anxiety, I've a question please answer if possible 🙂 1> why do we get anxious when it comes to stages of anxiety ( actually i am referring to the mails you guys send , they really help alot) Overall I'm looking forward to be a confident and careless one I was before ( even more Better) they are really a good trigger in doubting where I'm am 😅. I always felt guilt because I felt instead of trusting in God, I put my time and money into different programs that caused more anxiety! 🤦🏽

All of your videos are basically the same thing over and over again. Nothing new.
