I have gone through seeing all health care professionals for the last couple of months and finally know for sure it’s anxiety. Thank you for your amazing videos and clear explanation! I am staying positive on my recovery.
2 years, I fell hard and felt woozy for a few days. I thought it was a concussion or a head injury. I slowly started to get health conscious eating better exercising more. But that feeling was there for a while and I started to get more and more nervous , brain fog then eventually full blown anxiety and panic. The symptoms started to pile up. I eventually was able to recover from anxiety and gained a bigger understanding of it. Just recently I experienced vertigo. Maybe I slept wrong or did some yoga that messed with my inner ear. I wasn’t worried because I knew it what it was. After a few days the vertigo turned into wooziness which I recognized as the feeling I had before my anxiety started. I know it won’t trigger anxiety. But it’s weird to know that what I had after that fall was just low grade vertigo. If only I would have known.

This video is so helpful and I know it is one I'll go back to several times in coping with health anxiety and physical symptoms such as shaking. Thanks so much.
I worry about everything and constantly have a voice saying in my head "i feel sick" but physically im perfectly fine and healthy. I know I do the fives and focus on it too much. My Mum always said "if you keep saying that to yourself then your just going to stay feeling sick" and not focusing is harder said than done. I want to turn that focus onto understanding the nervous system and how to overcome the 5 f's but its easy said than done... because im making it difficult for myself. Im starting to understand why recovery is the way it is and different to everybody.
Now it all makes sense I’ve seen suffering from depersonalization bad for almost a month it usually goes away on its own after a few days maybe a week at most but not this time because I’ve had 3-4 major panic attacks that put me in the ER. But the last 2 days I felt a little better last night for some reason anxiety hit randomly took my Klonopin went away. I guess that’s where the 3 steps forward 2 steps back takes place… praying for the best.
I suffer from health anxiety around my heart. I’m 19, and have had an echocardiogram, ecg , 24 hour ecg and a stress test yet there is no heart issue and have been reassured it is just anxiety. Since this reassurance, my symptoms have changed and now I have an extremely weird persistent feeling in my chest as though I have something internally tickling or stuck in my chest. This has then caused me to worry and fear this symptom due to how incredibly bizarre and also uncomfortable it is. My mind then fast tracks to, yes I was ok when I had the tests last month, but this new symptom means it’s something new… I try to face my fear by using an exercise bike and letting my heart beat, which of course brings up these uncomfortable symptoms making me want to stop and leaving me stuck in the cycle!
Same here ! Always focusing on my heart and the symptoms and I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack ! Going on for years but the thinking is still the same. A vicisous cycle!

I watched alot of your videos and i want to say this. While i do think too that if you never had anxiety or panic it's not a bad idea to get ruled out by a doctor, I dont agree that you have to check every symptom you have cause that is alot of time, its impossible, and you are still doing this in fear. I do notice things in my body or feelings that i never had almost everyday, if i would have to get checked everytime i would see a doctor every week... I dont like that this is so pushed that you have to rule out everything... that you have to know that every symptom you have is not a problem. Also some doctors will say things that will scare you like long term anxiety and panic causes heart problems(i heard someone got told this) and I was misdiagnosed once with fibrosis when i was so obsessed with my lung after covid... It really hurted my recovery and made me traumatized. And for a long time i didnt had panic and bad anxietx symptoms, now after 3 years because some stressful events i developed it again, so now i should go again to doctor to doctor, to get checked and ruled out every symptom I have? Thats really time consuming and i feel bad doing it when i did the same 3 years ago. I dont promote do not get checked, as i said before if you had it for the first time its okay, but wanted to rule out every symptom to know its anxiety its obsessive. And lets say the same happens to you what happened to me now, you have years without panic, and then someday it comes back, then you go and do the same things you did before? You go again to doctors cause it returned and now you want to know again if its anxiety? This is still behaving by fear... Im struggling now but i dont want to go to get checked again cause if it goes away for a year and next year it comes back then im going again cause there might be a problem? What i realized is that when theres an actual problem you will feel it that thats different. Im sorry if i sound disrespectful, i dont want to be that, i just shared it cause it started bothering me that i hear this in every video.

Thanks Shaan for another valuable video.... As always i would like to ask yiu the same question as i have already asked for a number of times.. Like initially when i went through anxiety i googled abd found that few very young chap who had no risk factors for heart disease despite were died ....i have no physical symptoms but i get stuck thinking if it can happen to them why can not it happen to me..... Anybody who could solve my this biggest problem please
I heard of a young guy in my neighborhood passed away from a heart attack at 33 just yesterday. Immediately I thought exactly the same and was anxious the entire day thinking it was going to happen to me . Health anxiety is horrible 😞
Yes it's only later I heard he had heart issues and was a drinker and smoker and overweight. Felt a little better afterwards but the thought is still at the back of my mind when I feel even the slightest of symptoms.
Work stress, lack of sleep and bad nutrition. A death of a close family member triggered the first panic attack. Afterward I learned about anxiety. I had a fear of dying . Turned into hypochondria and agoraphobia. So much has changed since then and I've learnt so much about anxiety over the years.

Your Focusing on the symptom
2. Have patience
3. Recovery is up and down
4. I was having these symptoms now it changed.
What if its something else?
Answer: The symptoms changing are just manifestations
of the same problem. Anxiety.
5. Some symptoms may stay the same. Does not
mean you need to do something about it.
thank you ❤❤
You bet
Shaan my symptoms have vanished my body has also accepted it that its anxiety still i feel that i am not my old self ?
Same for me have you got back to yourself
Because you are not your old self .... embrace that and grow from the pain to a better self
@@denemoodley8700 so did he have any health issues like physically not healthy, heavy drinker or a chain smoker etc
Yes it's only later I heard he had heart issues and was a drinker and smoker and overweight. Felt a little better afterwards but the thought is still at the back of my mind when I feel even the slightest of symptoms.
@@denemoodley8700 what was your initial setback that has put you in anxiety cycle
What if you sometimes deal with intrusive thoughts smartly and don't get indulge and sometimes you slip down
Than u try again. And again and youll eventually get it took me a long time to get it really understand it.
Dont get disappointed, its just a setback,
What are the five "F"s?
Fix the symptom
Fearing the symptom
Frustrated with the symptom
Fighting the symptom

What a joke! Because someone doesn’t have a financial means for treatment you see them unfit for treatment. Gimmicks!
Your videos are too long, they are helpful but long ! Make 4-5 minutes videos for specific topics
So very inspiring and helpful. Much appreciated Shaan.❤
