Thanks for the video! I was just asking everybody about using this type of bipod. I have 2 7mm and 1 6.5 rifle that I am interested in using this for. in my bench rest at the range. Bean bags are not consistent as this would be.Good luck on your hunt.
Thanks for the video, I got one of these Bipods as a gift. It seemed I needed to pull the piece of plastic out between the pins, but when I went to do it, it started to put up a bit of a fight, so thought I'd double check before forcing it out and wrecking something. It seems the manufacturer providing some brief instructions would not be beyond reason, but nothing came with mine. Once the plastic is out, it becomes obvious why it was there for packing purposes and even more obvious as to how it fits to the rifle.
Well hot damn! I was watching this video and I’m like, this dude looks/sounds like Mike Grover….then I saw your page name. I was in 561 with you. Hope you’re doing well man!
I have one of these too, and was confused where to attach the sling. At first I thought it was at the spot you've done it, but then I noticed a swivel further back. I attached it to this part, but am still unsure which is correct. Did you see that attachment (near the swivel adjuster)?
@@mikegroveroutdoors dunno about you fellas but that sling attachment location in the vid is uncomfortable as hell when you carry. I’m not convinced this is correct. I just installed and walked around with it and the bipod dogs the hell outta my shoulder. I’m going to have to figure something else out. Check this vid out at marker 7:40. ua-cam.com/video/hDU0zpLEHvY/v-deo.html
@@GLF426 It's awful actually. You either want to switch to African Carry which you would switch the padded part of the sling to the rear nd carry muzzle down on your support side. Or, add an additional stud behind the bipod which also helps fix the problem.
@@MagicPrepper I figured out he’s actually attaching it wrong. If you watch the vid link in my comment that guy shows the right way. Made a huge difference. I’m not a fan of the African Carry. It’s just awkward for me to switch from carry to shouldered quickly enough to get off a fast shot if I need to.
@@mikegroveroutdoors i think I’m getting the 6-9 version since I’m getting to the little brother of your t3x (t1x) and I don’t want it to get to heavy since the inly two stances that I will do with it is prone and free hand.
Very helpful video for those of us who have never used a bipod.
Thanks for the video, really surprised a company would not have virtually any instructions with the product.
Yes exactly!
Thanks for actually showing what you were doing. Watched 2 other videos before yours and they didn't even show/explain what they were doing.
Thank you so much! Was super confused and got this exact same bipod, you made it super easy, thanks!
Appreciate the video, and GO, VOLS!!!
Thanks for the video. I'm brand new to firearms and I didn't know how to work this thing. Caldwell couldn't be bothered to include instructions.

Great video and tutorial!! Helped me a ton. And the Alec Baldwin comment had me laughing 😂
My first bipod as well. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the awesome video
Appreciate this tutorial. Sure would be nice if a simple sheet of directions was included!
This video really helped I appreciate it 💪🏻
Thank you dude. Best video, ordering this bipod.
Go Vols!!
Thank you for video. New to bipods and zero instructions in box.
Thanks a million buddy 🙏🏼
Thanks Mike. Well presented.

Great vid. Well explained.
Good video, nice job.
Thank you.
Definitely helpful. Wondered about the sling, definitely didn't want to sacrifice that. Totally understand the pivot part, but does it also swivel?
Does this fit savage axis 2
Thanks good video!
Glad it helped!
Thank you for making me look like I have the IQ of a toaster 😅😂

Hahah wow! Doing good! Hope you are too. Man what a throwback!
It look like you connected the sling wrong to the forearm of the bipod The metal brackets hitting against the bypod screw
Yes it’s very simple. Just wanted to confirm. This video was perfect.
haha just realized it said that about 47 1/2 times 😂

I am not seeing the part you are referring too, but I know for sure where I attached it is the correct spot.

@@GLF426 Hey, the video went private. Any guide on how to attaching it correctly to prevent it killing my shoulder? Thanks for the help.
What lengt is this bipod, I love the xla platform but I’d love something shorter than this.
It’s 9-13” I thought it would be too long but it actually was a great length for a variety of shots and situations.
