I purchased this bipod a month ago and had to figure it out on my own. Your video is well done and I appreciate the way you explain how to install the bipod and still connect the sling.
Now that's how you do a review,,, I was wondering about the sling when I got mine. Nothing in the instructions or any other videos about the sling. Great Video Sir and very well done. Even the CVlife video said nothing about this.

Cvlife carbon fiber 6 to 9 inch bipod is good on a Remington 783 rifle. I put blue locatite on the mounting tension screw bolt to give it a firm stable tension. The mounting tension screw held through out the range and in the hunt. Bottom line it works; low cost bipod.

Wow! I’m so glad I picked this bipod up for $1 others thought it was broken because that peace you were showing was just hanging off and loses, I bought it thinking I’ll just order the parts for it and it’s only a $1. Boy did I luck up. I don’t have to order anything. Thanks for posting.

I have the same exact rifle and bipod from Amazon but this bipod sucks ass. From a engineering stand point, it makes no sense? How’s your working for you?
Thank you. I found out the hard way to not put on the ring part. Ended up dropping my rifle when I put it on my shoulder. I was pissed. Got the bore full of dirt. Now I have to clean it.
Thanks for the info. My riflé has a sling mount an I wanted to add a bipod. Think you answered all my questions. Now to find a bipod I like for my rifle.
3 years later but still helped me lol I didn't think of unscrewing the bottom to make the mini clamps go thru the holes was like why aren't they going in😂
I hope it doesn't break the molded sling mounts on your rifle. That's one of the main reasons I didn't buy a Remington. Thanks for the video. I just bought one for my Ruger.
@@freshonwheels8742 BTW, I'm pretty impressed with mine. I wouldn't try to be too hard on it but I think it will serve it's range purposes. I put mind on a 6.5 Creedmoor with a muzzle brake, so I don't think the recoil will be too hard on the bipod.
Is it me, or did you mount this bi-pod backwards? Seems like the legs will now be in the way if you sling the rifle. Shouldn't the bi-pod legs extend towards the muzzle of the rifle when not in use?

I have to assume you do not have the ability to pan or swiviel your weapon with this bipod because this is the third review I have seen on the exact some bi-pod and it has never been mentioned. Am I right or wrong about this?

@@landonbuenconsejo2856 Mines solid and steady though I'm shooting from a heavy table. To zero my rifle in I used the Caldwell Zeromax.

So far I haven't noticed any damage to the sling mount. I will upload a video if this does happen.

Is it me, or did you mount this bi-pod backwards? Seems like the legs will now be in the way if you sling the rifle. Shouldn't the bi-pod legs extend towards the muzzle of the rifle when not in use?
