Jak & Daxter Debate - Light Vs White Eco - Are They The Same?

During the battle scene with Gol and Maia, some thought that Gol or Daxter said white eco instead of light. Clearly, Gol says light eco not white, as for Daxter, some might have heard white.
Of course, since light eco was mentioned in Jak & Daxter The Precursor Legacy, we can conclude that what we saw was light eco and not white. However, two things have also been part of this debate. Light Eco is used defensively whereas white is used offensively. White eco actually looks white whereas light is blue.
