I would love to see a boss fight with the organic form of clockwork and sly defeats him but this causes a chain of events Sly is the one that created the hatred that clockwork has for the Cooper clan!
The Bonny and Slyde idea is genius! I love it. Personally, I'd like to see at least one female ancestor, so if it's not Henriette, it could be the roman gladiator you talked about, since we don't have a canon ancestor in that time period. What could also be interesting is if Sly's mother was actually the playable ancestor in Paris instead of Conner, and we would have to save him or something. Maybe Sly could even be the reason his parents meet in the first place! Or maybe they could be rivals and Sly helps them to fall in love. I also like your idea of Sly being the cause of Clockwerk's hate towards his family. One final thing that could be interesting if done right, is a descendant of Sly in a futuristic science-fiction world. They could justify it by the time machine having a bug or something.
I don't like sly 4 that much. I think the main issue is that Clockwork needed to be the main antagonist of 4. I do like sly 4. I like 2 and 3 more. And I want to rank 1 below 4. But I cant. Clock work is such a good villain it goes above 4.

That can be potentially saved for a third game where a revived Clockwork helps his past self. What would Clockwork do if he knew of his long history with the Coopers? And death against Sly? Maybe it also causes other messed up what ifs like Bentley slaving under the Contessa or Murray never finding his confidence and being taken in as a mistreated servant under Muggshot. Another idea: the cookie heist as the tutorial level.

Based on the China level from Sly 3, and the fact that Tide of Terror from Sly 1 was also technically a pirate level, I seriously doubt repeating level themes would be a problem. One thing I'd like to see in the next game is a level that takes place in the future where, instead of an ancestor, Sly teams up with one of his descendants.
I know repeats aren't impossible China in 1 and 3 are both good. Although raleigh is a pirate Tide of Terror doesn't feel like a pirate level like 3 does. It's just not my preference to do a pirate level again after the one in three.
I liked a Wattpad story, based on how Sly returns. Now Sly's future descendants come back to the modern past to save their future unknowingly going to create Clockwerk. Clockwerk hates Cooper's line and his need to replace his mortal body with machines, Started because of Sly's future descendant.
i enjoyed the first 3 sly games and played the 4th it was alright not something id replay over and over again but I think a 5th game would be good id buy it i think you have some solid ideas i mean they have alot of time periods to pick from between the lore of the games and honestly I wouldn't mind another pirate level I think the biggest issue writing wise would mostly be the sly Carmelita subplot of "ok we got sly back now sly and Carm probably need to have a conversation about the whole "you were in Egypt we thought we lost you, also you know your criminals and im a cop" since 4 at least had the excuss of "we are all trapped in this time period for now trying to eventually get back to our own time so for now at least we might aswell work together to get back" vs once they get sly back i could see it maybe being a bit of a hard sell to get her to agree to just let them go, or work with them or atleast having that knee jerk response of "I shouldn't be letting you guys just run off to be criminals but your also trying to stop someone from messing with the timeline that's probably bad. i think they might have to jump up the age rating a bit but I'd be interested in a slightly more mature game like a teen rating or something rather then E10
well we know he's in ancient egypt from the secret ending of 4, but i'd like to toss an alt into the ring. imagine carmelita and sly did the nasty before his unfortunate warping, and the protag of sly 5 would be their kid but they could also impliment a cool system into it. i had the idea of a girl (because why not mix it up?) Carmen Rosé Cooper, where she'd be digging up sly's past after carmelita refused to talk about the fact that he was a thief despite all their intimacy. she'd run into "uncle" bentley from a letter she would get to lead her to the hideout where they would recruit her in helping find sly, while dealing with the usual opposition (some old enemy resurfaced or a new one, either works), and having two sides for skills, kind of like infamous with the good/evil, but in this case, cop or crook. one side would have heavier hitting bruiser or tanky type skills with reinforcement calling skills, and the other would be stealth as used to, with smoke bombs, paraglide (was thinking wingsuit for this with attachments), some of bentley's gadgets reworked for her use, etc. it would add to the story as well as give options for multiple endings and maybe bringing back in game collectibles to unlock secrets, moves, or cheats. feel free to give feedback.
you know what would be cool? If sly traveled to meet the last cooper, the cooper at the end of his bloodline, to discover why his bloodline ended and see if he can do something about it. Heck maybe they could make that a game of its own about the last cooper, completely seperate from sly. that would be cool.
If they introduce Connor in future games I think it'd be cool if in Sly 5 when you're in the final chapter perhaps you're helping Sly's grandfather, and in the final cutscene Sly and Connor Cooper (as a kid) glance at each other briefly and don't even exchange any dialogue whatsoever, keeping it respectful for the timeline

Besides, it would be better as a last hurrah to crash Julius Caesar's wedding part, teach Slytancahman the values of companionship then hook Slytancahman with Cleopatra in marriage before Sly disappears back to his own time to fight a Clockwerk revived and empowered by hate from the Wedding Crash.

You definitely have a really great idea in this video, you know, I been putting together a idea for a Sly 5, and most of your ideas sound pretty similar to what I'm working with, not to mention, one of my friends had a idea with the idea of making a really cool title.
Just played Sly Cooper 1 from the Playstation Store and it was fun to play. It was tricky to play at times because you had to be precise when you latched onto things, but it was a good game. Do you think when they do announce Sly Cooper; the graphics would look like a CGI animated movie, but it is in-engine graphics?

I liked the fact Bentley girl friend went back and went bad it was fresh and something not seen before I mean we’ve seen people be bad but then come back to be good or was brainwashed so was refreshing that she was just straight up bad
Personally, I found it a bit odd that people thought she went straight to begin with. She was "in love" with Sly because she thought he was the leader of the gang. When she saw that the real brains of the operation was Bentley, she went after him with her wiles. When HE turned out to be a goodie twoshoes, she stole HIS technology to perform even more crimes. Fact is, she never loved anybody, she was just an opportunist who loved to work as a Shadow King. That's her style.
Penelope but it didn’t convey any elements into how like she just joined up with everybody and now she just turns on us 🤷🏽♂️ no correlation whatsoever really bothered a lot of people

I don’t think there is a bad sly game. Oh and also the sly Egypt level was confirmed by developers from sansaru who claimed it was due to budget. This budget cut is also why le paradox has a qt as a fight instead of a normal one

Like maybe she was pregnant in 4 and didn't tell sly yet and that's why her conflicted emotions are so strong
