This song is very special to me because I was that kid who got bullied in school. I performed this song for my theater class my freshman year of HS.

Thank you for your reaction. I'm not a special needs person but was bullied most of my life. On the up side I stood up for several people that did need some help even though I was scared for my life but it helped the person I stood up for. If you didn't have tears I would not have responded. Thank you so much.

I can't help but think that maybe this one caring kid reached the wounded part of these two others who maybe didn't have a life where they had someone to provide a lunch. They seemed so grateful and accepting when he offered something they didn't have to "bully" from, but he offered willingly. We never know what someone else is going through. Amazing song and video. so moving.

That was Mark's beautiful and talented daughter Macey in the blue dress who joined them in the harmony (who had some issues with bullying herself as a child) and Nate's company is 21 Pineapples, which represents the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome and he's the CEO of his own funky pineapple shirt company!

We're all crying with you friend. It's a wonderful sad song for anti-bullying month. This song was so special. We need to raise kids who do not think bullying is okay. We all MUST do this together. Adults included because more and more I'm seeing the younger ones becoming more accepting. Granddaughters are freshman and 5th grade and boy are they accepting of every race, color, gender, etc. We are super proud of them. They do not accept anyone being picked on or bullied and make sure to step up. Let's all work together to be KIND and CARING of each other. We're in this together. Take care.

Touching reaction, Travis. With the exception of a few reactors of the many I've viewed, this inspires many to share painful experiences or they find it touches a deep, emotional chord. Unfortunate that an 'anti-bullying' month is even necessary although we all know it's a constant, pervasive issue to which many of us can relate. One reactor, who follows the young man in the video on TikTok (I don't do TT), mentioned that he's the CEO of '21 Pineapples.'

A beautiful collaboration. Mark Wills is a great singer. And then my favorite group Home Free in the background sounds fabulous. A beautiful song and video with a sad subject and important message.
I know what bullying is. Not by children, but by the teachers.
I never told my family and thought I could handle it all. Now I am almost 59 years old, and only 2 years ago did I find out what bullying has determined my life.
It's so good that it's getting attention. Because bullying has to end. Think about what you're doing to someone like that.

Thanks for your reaction to this song... Home Free's version is the first time I had heard this song (I never heard the original version)... it brought back some memories from 55 years ago that I had thought were buried very deep, but I guess when you have been bullied, it stays with you for life... that it why it is such a terrible thing. In 8th/9th grades I was bullied, but back in the mid 60's it just wasn't something people talked about so you were left to handle it on your own, I had no one I could tell or talk to about it. I lost all self-esteem and felt worthless for the longest time... I learned to handle it by always having a smile on my face and being nice and friendly to everyone I was around (even though I wanted to crawl in a hole and hide)... but when the bullies saw that it looked like it didn't affect me, the bullying stopped... but the damage had been done.. it took me years to regain my self confidence and self esteem... the lines in the song...
You don't have to be my friend
Is it too much to ask?
Don't laugh at me, don't call me names
Don't get your pleasure from my pain
... always bring the tears to my eyes.
Bullying needs to be stopped... when it happens to you, I realize now that it stays with you for a lifetime... in my case, it led to a loss of self-esteem and confidence... but for many it leads to depression and even suicide... we need to speak out against bullying in all its forms...
Thanks again for your reaction to this song... it is a message that needs to be heard by everyone. A special thanks to Home Free for putting this song out there...

If people only took 5 minutes to get to know someone with Down syndrome they would see their beautiful spirits and loveable qualities. I taught Sunday School and I had one such sweet young man in my class and he was better behaved than any of the kids. And still to this day (30+years ago) he remembers me and will go out of his way to say Hi 👋 to me. Such a beautiful soul. Bullying is so ugly and should never be allowed. I also know that adults can bully as was shown to me by a co-worker against my friend. I reported her to HR. This was such a great cause that HomeFree supported. Thanks for your reaction. ✌❤

Home Free shows again that they aren't just talented, but thoughtful and caring men. They certainly could have just sung this song themselves, but they chose to be in the background and spotlight the originator of the song. And they were upstaged by the actor at the end and loved it. I get to see them in December, too. I'm like a toddler waiting for Santa.

Absolutely beautiful reaction, thank you for sharing some of your personal experiences with us. Now, for my unsolicited opinion: Problem today is that while society is saying don't bully, they are bullying in an even more harmful way; 'cancel culture' is bullying on a larger and more public level, how can we teach our youth to not bully when we are doing it ourselves? If everyone would concentrate on being the best and most loving person they can be, this world would be a lovely place.

THIS is just one of many reasons we are so intensely loyal to Home Free! They don't beat around the bush! They bring these important messages and projects out into the light, front and center! If you don't have a emotional reaction to these videos, I'd really have to wonder what's going on in your life. The original was released nearly 25 years ago and it was heartwrenching in its importance then. Now with the internet and social media it's even more relevant because there's nowhere to get away from the negativity that's often spewed from the anonymous keyboard cowboys. They don't even have to do it to your face anymore. That's why I refer to them as keyboard COWARDS! The main thing is just be kind. It costs nothing and you never know what others are going through. Great reaction as always! ❤

I noticed something in the video, those kids that kept taking his lunch didn’t seem to have a lunch. Maybe that’s why they were taking it, they didn’t have food to eat.
